Mother had this guy come and remove a wall unit an paid him $600.00. Asked if he could glue down a 1ft x 2ft piece of linoleum and charged her $150.00. I asked why so much when she supplied the linoleum, His answer was that's my minimum. After being paid $600.00. No she did not expect it for free. Took 2 weeks to get a call back. I am very very sad about giving this 5 star business a 1 star review. Steve and another couple guys came out and fixed all our walls in 4 hours. Every other drywall person said it would take 3 days. That should have been my first clue. We had a flood and needed to replace a pretty large amount of drywall in our hallway, water heater cabinet, laundry room and bedroom. The laundry room and closet look great. The hallway and bedroom not so much. The hallway had mud going so thick up to the chair rail that it literally had a lip and you could see the drywall tape line going all the way down the hall. My daughters bedroom had a mural on the wall done with decals. They sprayed over the decal and left and owl imprint in plaster on the wall and again left the drywall tape line going down the middle of the wall. They had also taped off a portion of the wall when they sprayed and when we removed the plastic tarp there was a thick ridge of plaster on the wall all along the line of the tarp. They didn't even take off the light switch cover. I called to complain and was told that I should just sand down the plaster. Oh, no! I paid to have the job done and when it was done shoddily he told me to fix it myself? When I said no it was way way worse that anything I could fix he then agreed to come fix it. Steve came by spent 20 minutes with some sandpaper and called it done. It still looked horrible!! He agreed to a 25% partial refund, I thanked him and he left. He never refunded me. Never called me, never followed up. I had another drywall installer come out and paid more money to fix his shoddy work. They were amazed at how bad of a job had been done. read more

The owner Steven definitely does not care about the customers time. The first time I dealt with him he was supposed to come out the next day and just texture a small portion of ceiling, yet when he was supposed to come out I didn't hear from him all day (even with me leaving messages). Texts me to apologize and to say that he left his phone somewhere. He followed that up with saying for me to pick a time and he will try to make it work. I asked about the next day and never heard from him...so I decided to give him a one star review. 5 minutes after the review I get a call saying he was gone all day with no reception, even though I had text him the day before. I decided to take the one star review if he did the work the next day and he gave me a discount. Now I try to use him again and he does the same thing. We scheduled 8 am Monday (8/05) and he isn't there by 8:15, so I text him if he was even coming. He leaves a voicemail saying that he is helping someone move a TV. I told him our appointment was at 8am and I will just get someone else, which he decided to again give a discount and "come out" whenever I was able to do it. I told my wife she could deal with it and we set a time at 9:15 am on Tuesday. He said he was taking his daughter to the doctors, but should be able to make it. Again he doesn't call until after the appointment to tell me he wont be able to get their on time. My wife wanted to give him another chance and he never returned the text. I would stay away if you value your time because he sure doesn't. This is in reply to the owner comment. I cannot believe that people will not own up to the consequences of their own actions anymore, but they will try to lie to cover up the truth. Steven clearly tries to state that there was no appointment on Monday and that he said he would "try to fit me in". If you look at the pictures in the bottom one of them clearly shows him expressing is sorrow for what he did and even trying to give me a discount due to his error. Also, he has an anger management problem as he sent the other text after the review trying to intimidate me to take it down (I presume). Either way, stay away from this guy. And Steven if you don't take down the slanderous comments and my personal address from your review, in the next 24 hours, the next form of communication will come from my attorney. read more

Steve and Greg came out this morning to do a quote once the owner okayed the job they were right to work and in a few hours they had cut out the damaged drywall in the kitchen ceiling and fixed the leaked. All replaced with new drywall and spackle the entire kitchen ceiling leaving it seamless. (*much better then before even) all the while they had taped and plastic protecting the rest of the kitchen and walkway to and from the door, all leaving hardly an evidence they were ever there. Extremely disappointed! Scheduled for 10:00 am today, texted me at 9:29 am and said he was running a little over on his job and would " call soon when he was on his way. I finally received a call back at 4:09 pm. He said he was in traffic but give him half an hour, that he would let me know where he was at. It is now 6:05 pm and, you guessed it, no call and had not shown up. I realize jobs sometimes don't go according to plans, but common courtesy goes a long way. Not only did our job not get done, we have also wasted an entire day waiting. I could have spent my time finding someone else who wanted the job. Steve ( The Wall Doctor) had excellent reviews and contacted me within 15 minutes with a quote. I had requested a written estimate as well to submit to my insurance company. He said no problem, he would shoot it off to me shortly. It was agreed that I was paying for the work myself, and would be seeking reimbursement from my insurance on my own. We also scheduled today's appointment at that time (Tuesday). On Wednesday afternoon I messaged Steve through Yelp and again asked about the written estimate. He said he hadn't seen the message and would send it right then . Nothing. I contacted him again yesterday (Thursday). and reminded him yet again. He called, said he got busy and forgot. I get that. He called about an hour later and said he was sending it then and confirmed appointment for today. I did receive the quote. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but obviously he does not want this job. I can't make anymore excuses for his lack of professionalism. I expected a call ( numerous times) if he was no longer coming. I tried to be patient and considerate of his time, but I did not receive the same from him. He may have done a great job, who knows. I am pretty good at working on my own house. But when I had moved a few walls and opened one up to make a large sliding door for the kids playing room I was a bit overwhelmed by having to mud and match the texture of the existing wall. I called The Wall Doctor and he got back to me very quickly. We then facetime so I could show him what I had. The following day he came by and gave me a very good quote to fix 6 of my walls. I hung the drywall and did the framing. He came in and fixed all my seams and matched the texture perfectly. The whole job took 2 days. I was home the first day and felt very comfortable with his crew. The second day I was not home and I felt safe with his guys working at my home with my wife and kids. Steve's crew cleaned up each day after they worked and made sure to keep tools up and away so my kids didn't get their hands on them. After the job was complete he came by to check that the job was done to his standard. There were two areas to touch up. He did the work quickly. In the end, I now have walls that you can't even tell I had worked on. You can't see any of the seams and the texture is perfect.
