    Redskin potato salad
    Allan A.

Good sign, it is Saturday 11:30 and the place is very busy. If you want quality this is the place to visit. My Roast beef and Swiss cold sub was delicious. The turkey and provolone sub was equally delicious. Got a side of redskin potato salad and was unable to finish. It was fantastic. Looking forward to returning and trying one if the hot subs. Indoor seating is limited. Plenty of outdoor seating. Biggest challenge is finding a parking spit.

    BLT

The owner/manager needs to hire more people to Saturdays. The employees are overwhelmed with the volume of the orders. During peaks times, online orders should be shut off. I just ordered a $16 BLT on a hoagie with no mayo. I received a burnt to hell BLT on ciabatta with mayo. Threw the sandwich in the trash and got a refund, but comebetter.

    Making the sandwich. Yum!

Definitely a go-to place for a consistently good sandwich. The menu is simple and they do run specials which is nice. They also do many of their offerings as "halves" which is nice because the sandwiches are filling. They will customize upon request if they can (they've never said no to me). All the ingredients are fresh and the best thing is their bread, easily the BEST sub rolls between here and Portugal (seriously), the bread is close to a Catalan Pan de Cristal in texture and flavor. Counter service and your sandwich is delivered with a smile. A few inside table and some outdoor tables for nice weather. It's a great spot for a quick bite in Lafayette Village. .

I saw this sandwich shop on TikTok a couple of times and decided to try it one afternoon last week. I went early in the afternoon, and then again, later that evening, it was so good. I should've known it was going to be good when I realized how thick the napkins were and you can literally smell the fresh meat cooking as soon as you open the door. Since last week, I've been a handful of times (sad, I know). LOL. But it really is the Best Sandwich Shop in Raleigh. I've tried the Butcher's Club and the Steak and Cheese (not to be confused with a Philly Cheesesteak). Everything was delicious. Definitely a must-try for all Raleigh natives and transplants. The owner is also very nice and the staff has been equally great to work with. I'm definitely a new regular.

Hot Roast Beef with Pepperjack Sandwich (chipotle)

I've been hearing this place compared to Ideals and East Cut, so I finally tried it while I was in the area. Tucked among the restaurants in Lafayette Village, it's easy to park and has a nice outdoor seating area when the weather is good. The interior is on the smaller side but looks tidy and well organized. They had a few specials listed (which I was told are newer items), along with some seasoning add-ons. The person at the counter was warm, helpful, and patient as I made a few changes to my order. I ended up getting the Italian cold cut sandwich (their #1 seller) and the beef-and-cheese hot sandwich (their #2). The orders were done in about 10 minutes as they freshly made it. The sandwiches are on the smaller side and it was $16 each. My hot sandwich came out piping hot with great texture of the beef & pepper jack, served on a freshly toasted ciabatta roll, with flavors that were clean, fresh, and straightforward (not very overpowered by sauce, but also not very complex - I enjoyed esp when fresh). The cold cut sandwich was generously stuffed with meat, tasted great, and felt more filling overall. Even though nothing particularly stood out and it was a bit pricey for the portion side, I consider it a solid sandwich spot with high-quality ingredients and well-executed sandwiches and may return when I am in this area!

    Pastrami Reuben Sandwich

You're greeted as soon as you walk in the door by the super friendly staff. I asked the manager Joel what his favorites were, and he was super excited to tell me, very passionate. I ordered the Steak & Cheese and my daughter ordered the Pastrami Reuben. They have a good amount of options for hot or cold sandwiches & melts. They have a kids menu and a good looking sweets menu. We ordered for there, so they brought us our food. Wow, the first bite was amazing, the ciabatta was so soft, yet toasty. The steak was perfect and the serving was perfect. I don't normally like Rueben's, but I had a bite of my daughter's and liked it. I love that everything is made to order. Great location, inside of Lafayette Village. The service is great. There's seating inside and outside, pretty spacious. I'll be back to try more sandwiches for sure.

    Chicken and Cheese Sandwich

Insanely overpriced. I got 3 sandwiches. 2 Steak and cheese and 1 chicken and cheese and all were lacking. I feel like I paid $16 a sandwich for bread. It was good though. Just not $16 a sandwich good.

OH MY GOOOOD!!! Amazing steak and cheese from this spot. Probably the best Steak and Cheese I have gotten since I moved to NC! Little sandwich shop with HUGE flavor. These guys have it going on. From the crusty roll to the amazing cheese they put on this sandwich. Garlic aioli sauce was a great match for the tender chunks of steak. This is not a typical thin sliced sandwich. This was a weekend special with small chunks of steak perfectly matched with cheese and garlic aioli sauce. I opted for no onions side to me not liking it but I'm sure it would of made it even better if I liked onions. From the smell you walk in you know they have the real deal. Fridays are French dip specials and they make there own aujus dipping sauce. When they say don't run walk I say the opposite for this spot! RUN DONT WALK!!!! You may miss out.

Incredibly friendly staff that takes pride in their product. I had been watching their Instagram for over a year, drooling over their sandwiches. Finally got around to stopping by today. Steak & Cheese and The Vegetarian. Absolutely delicious! The bread is killer and the overall flavors are top notch. 100% will be back again. Awesome experience!

Over the past 3 weeks, I've noticed a steady decline in service and food quality. Please note I've ordered from here 8-10 times in that span, with dining in 3 times and Door Dashing 5-7 times. I can go back to my receipts but I made this place my go-to. One of the days I walked in to order and the guy flatly told me all subs were toasted when I asked if I could get mine toasted. Seemed a little uncalled for with the tone. The last visit onsite, the presentation from my first time (sub is spread open when served) had gotten worse. The tomatoes were noticeably smaller. My last door dash order from yesterday, I had a blonde hair in my sub. I do not have hair and it wouldn't be blonde, if so. It was mixed in as well. I threw the rest of my sub away. This is actually the second business on this strip I've found hair in my food. I don't complain, I just don't eat there anymore. But the fact I can notice a difference in service and food quality within 3 weeks is INSANE. At this point, I do not recommend this place.

They have a wide variety of sandwiches (hogies, deli style, cheesesteaks, chicken cutlets), along with burger and salad options. We opted for a cheesesteak, deli sandwich, and small salad which was the perfect amount of food for two people. My only word of caution is that the Calabrian Ceasar dressing is quite spicy, so use with caution or pick another if you don't like spicy food. The bread, meat, and toppings were all fresh and brought unique flavors that worked very well together. There was a good amount of seating both inside and outside that was clean and well kept. Be sure to check out the daily drink specials too - when we went it was $2 Tecate cans. Will definitely be back!

You can order at the counter or sit at a table and scan a QR code to order. We sat outside and did the latter option. I ordered a regular sized Dagwood. It's your choice of turkey or ham, bacon, fresh mozzarella, shredded lettuce, tomato, basil pesto, garlic aioli, & house vinaigrette on a sesame roll. I chose turkey with no garlic aioli. The online menu made it super easy to choose and/or remove ingredients. We also ordered a large order of curly fries to share too. The food came out in about 10ish minutes after ordering and an employee delivered it straight to our table. The sandwich was really good. I love pesto so it's hard to go wrong with that. My only critique was the sesame roll was a little too hard to bite for my taste. Whenever I bit into it, my sandwich kept falling apart from the other end. The true star of the meal were the curly fries. They tasted similar to the ones at Arby's. Parking was super easy to find in this area. There was an open lot not too far from Eastcut so we parked there and walked over. Overall, great place for a quick bite!

I came in a little after lunch shift the other day and was a bit indecisive about my order but the very patient and nice girl at the counter helped me decide. I ended up ordering the Meatball with Provolone. The sandwich was well made with large meatballs and both the bread and the meat tasted fresh. Previously I had issues with the line situation, but in this case there was only one other person in the restaurant, so that was less of an inconvenience. The other, more serious issue centered around gnats and flies. I can confidently say that was not an issue when I revisted the other day. I was pleased with my second visit and the friendly, helpful girl who served me, I believe her name was Leah. I plan to return and perhaps I can convince my work to cater from here in the near future.

There are literally thousands of meal plan services out there, and as someone who has tried many of them, Clean Eatz is the most affordable, freshest, and easiest (microwave for two minutes and it's ready, without all the preservatives!) with the best ingredients. I love that their meal plans change every week for their in café options and that there is a tiered pricing structure that makes it accessible for families as well. They also have a rewards program, which is becoming more rare these days, and I really appreciate that! It makes me want to shop more knowing I am closer to a free bowl or 5 grab and go meals! I have also eaten in store with the food they make there and have always been impressed with the size quality and price of their menu offerings. If you don't love the meals that are offered during one week, you can always come in and grab some frozen grab and go meals that are easy to heat up in the microwave and still taste excellent! They have also expanded into pizzas, additional higher protein, options, breakfast sandwiches, desserts, and more. The owner is so friendly and really gives that locally owned, small business, neighborhood feel despite Clean Eatz being a franchise. I recommend Clean Eatz to literally anyone, anywhere and will continue to be a customer for as long as they're in business!
