Quick and easy. This place makes doing laundry an actually enjoyable experience. It has everything…read moreyou would need for washing your clothes, including rolling carts to carry your load, plentiful benches to fold it, an ATM, a coin change machine, a detergent dispenser, some newspapers to read and local ads to check out while you're waiting. Feels like a community place. They also have free WiFi inside, password is posted next to the dryers. The pricing was 3.25 for light cycle on washing machines on the right side, and 4.50 for washing machines on the left side. 25 cents extra for normal cycle, and 50 cents extra for heavy. I didn't quite catch the difference between the $3 and the $4 machines and washed my clothes for $3. The light cycle lasted 27 minutes, which had me worried that it might be a tad short, but my clothes was satisfactorily clean when I took them out of the cleaner. The dryers were 25c per 6 minutes. I really liked that time intervals are this small, which allows the customers to control how dry they want their laundry to be. Part of my load needed only a quick run in the dryer so 6 minutes was enough, while all the heavy cotton clothing took about 24 minutes to dry. So that was $1.25 for the dryer and $3.25 for a light washing load amounting to $4.50 for the full experience. Disclaimer: it's not a good idea to leave your laundry unattended, but if there's nothing much valuable washing in there, there is a cafe across the street, one block to the north, called "Nomad". It's probably one of the friendliest cafes in the area and deserves another recommendation. This cafe serves tasty sandwiches, coffee, and free wifi. So if you don't want to sit around in the laundromat, you can wait there for your laundry load to be done and surf the net while you're waiting.

Bayside Washland - One wall of dryers, more behind me so do not worry when I am there!

I am currently at the laundromat and the washing machine (not the change machine) took my quarters. I have been knocking on the back door for more than 30 minutes and nobody has answered. I saw the woman walk in just a minute before I put my quarters in. I have yelled, and knocked hard and no one is responding. She was right next to me when I started putting in the quarters, there are also cameras. This happened to me one time before, but I took the chance to come back because it is the closest spot to my house. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I have learned my lesson will never come back here again, but I wanted to warn others. The photo below shows that the empty washing machine says to insert 25 coins. The machine with my laundry no longer says that because I inserted the 25 coins. *** the review below mine on Google posted seven months ago, also says that machine 3 took their money. I was also using machine 3, and there was no out of order sign. IT HAS BEEN SEVEN MONTHS AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIX THIS! Not even putting an out of order sign.

It is in the "Ghetto" but offers a wash and fold service for $1 a pound.( I have yet to try) I have been here 4 times in the last 3 months and I am coming here from now on.There is an attendant always on duty and she is always friendly and willing to help. A Laundromat is not perfect but it does many things well. Three large tables for folding and at…read moreleast three baskets for handling laundry. The owner mops the floors daily, which I really like as sometimes an item can be dropped on the floor when transferring clothes from machines to dryers. A range of washing machines: single, double, triple and larger. Prices are what you would expect and out of order machines don't stay out of order for long. They have the laundry app and some people complain about them. Well, what would you expect? It's software! I wisely avoid them. Change machines in my experience have been reliable. The downsides: you won't always get an attendant if something goes wrong and can be unresponsive as to things like water leaks on the floor. This is a family enterprise and you'll end up dealing with different personalities (they're dysfunctional, whose is not?!). The son is lazy, the older female is a bitch as I've read here online, but the male owner is nice, wants you to have a good experience, and a younger female is friendly and nice. It's a mixed bag at A Laundromat. About 2024 the owner bought all new machines and painted the joint, and new vending machines. It seems you take your chances if you decide to do your laundry late at night according to some reviewers here. It seems there's been a change of ownership a couple of times since I moved here in 2019, so a reason for one-star reviews. Anyway you could do worse than A Laundromat. As some have written plenty of shops, cafe to go to while clothes are washing, drying. I myself go to CVS to pick up prescriptions, use coupons to get a deal. Overall I give A Laundromat a B-. They could do a little bit better.

They have old machines that have constant issues and today as we were washing two of the machines were not working after informing the workers the thought we were lying for what ever reason and did only refunded $1 we tried to wash again and the load did not wash which resulted in soap all over our clothes and again no refund was provided after arguing and explaining to the workers we grabbed our wet clothes and left as they were clearly not trying to help us there customer. We are hispanic and definitely did not feel welcome and felt as this was also the reason for the bad customer service.
