Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between chic sophistication and laid-back fun, with clean architectural lines, modern décor, and dim lighting that creates an inviting ambiance. During our visit, we learned that the longtime bartender had recently moved on and been replaced by Sydney, who was absolutely delightful. When she discovered we were celebrating my friend's birthday, she rallied everyone at the bar and throughout the lounge area to sing "Happy Birthday." The gesture was unexpected, heartfelt, and instantly made the evening feel special. As fate would have it, another guest was celebrating a birthday as well, so the entire group enthusiastically sang for her too. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. One of my favorites was one where it shoots the golf ball up the wall and you watch it come down various ramps and musical instruments. This is a good spot for a date night or fun with friends and family. The mini golf area is smaller than some other mini golf spots I've visited in Houston but it was still a fun time. We finished the whole course in around 20-30 minutes and there wasn't a line. Seems to be a fun spot to visit on a weekend!
