When I visited the Watershed last Summer, it was not an enjoyable experience. Because of the gorgeous view of the water and mountains, it is also a hopping restaurant, so the wait was somewhat long. The menu does not have a lot of dishes, or variety for that matter, so that's a turn off for me. I ordered beef linguini, which was mediocre at best. The wait for the food itself was PAINFULLY long, 1.5 hours to be exact, and I'm not exaggerating. Also, when my dad asked for some coffee after dinner, it didn't show up for about 10 minutes, and when it got served to him, it was cold. The server insisted that she just made it, but my dad thought that that was a load of BS. The only good thing about this restaurant was the ambience at night, with the lights and candles on the tables. At the time, there was also a musician playing the guitar which honestly was the only good thing about my experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Not a real fan of "bar food" because it's usually greasy and has no pizzazz but Watershed had a really nice change of pace menu that ranged from the typical hamburgers to butter chicken. I like how they advertise that their meat is clean and hormone free, I appreciate that and they had alternatives for folks that don't eat meat or have allergies. The one thing that always burns my butt about preferences and food allergies is the additional cost and here it was a bit over the top...I ordered the Beyond Burger, with gluten free bun and yam fries (because normal fries are battered in flour) and this added an additional $6.00 to my meal!! That's one expensive hamburger, topping out at a whopping $19.95 by the time all was said and done. I will say though it was very good and extremely flavourful. It's also easy to see why it's been voted best patio and having the best staff/service. The view is to die for and the staff is exceptional! We'll be back as hubby has to frequent Squamish for work now so looking forward to trying other items on menu! read more

Very disappointed. Service was non existent. After being seated in about 15 minutes, drinks were ordered and then told that any food orders would take about 40 mins due to the fact they were busy. During our wait, which, by the way, took just over an hour and not 40 minutes, we were never approached by anyone for drink refills. When the food came, it was mediocre at best, the sandwich was cold and flavorless. The only thing that looked good was what my friend had, the baked Brie. Food was expensive for what it was too. Unless you don't mind the slow service and crap food, but enjoy the ambience of dining by the lakeside, this is the place for you. read more

I've been back a few times since and they appear to have addressed the older slow service times I saw previously; I don't know if they have more staff now or what, but they're fine now! And the food is probably even better than it ever was. This location was 6 minutes away from Sea to sky gondola so it was convenient for us to grab a quick lunch here before water rafting. The lady who takes reservation at the restaurant was super sweet and told us that if the table was too small for a group of 9, we could let our server know. We got there at 12 pm and waited for 35 mins to get inside. When I saw how they put the table as in just one decent rectangular table, I knew 9 of us wouldn't fit so I asked our server nicely if we could get another table to add so that we can have more room. The server gave me a nasty attitude saying she would have put more tables if they have more and that she can't do anything with it. She gave us a small square table to add more space afterwards. We waited for 15 minutes for the server to come and get our order. It's already 1:30 pm and our food wasn't served yet so one of my friends asked politely when would our food be served because we have water rafting at 2:15 pm. We have tried raising our hands and ask for other servers to come to us but none of them actually came to help us until we had to raise our voice a little to get their attention. A server just said they were short staff in the kitchen and that it's really busy that we just need to wait for our food. At this point, we were HANGRY! We explained that we had an appointment at 2:15 earlier yet she was taking her time. What a stunning location. Definitely the best patio view I've had. This little unpretentious gem of a place is great. The service is efficient and friendly. Your regular pub food items were all cooked well amongst our group. I opted for the tilapia tacos, the sweetness of the carrots in the slaw, really worked well with the fish and seasoning. Have eaten here in the summer. Came in after doing the Eagle Watch. It was Grey cup night and they were busy. We had to sit out on the covered patio. They have overhead gas heat and it seemed warm initially, However, while waiting for our food, most of our party were cold and miserable, even using the blankets they provide. I'd highly recommend waiting for a table in the main part of the restaurant, unless you are dressed warmly. Maybe it was how long we waited, but for the price, food did not seem as good as i remembered it in the summer. Just a-ok. Adequate. read more

Great location on the river and overlooking the mountain. Friendly wait staff and good menu with wide range of options. Prices were fair and the food was good. Patio is heated with a large overhead heater and you can't really get away from it, so it does get a little warm. read more

We love this place. In the summer it is THE spot to be in Squamish. Chris is a great bartender and Vicky and the other servers always make you feel at home. The menu has good variety, some of my favourite meals are: The Prawn and Asparagus Salad, The Ribs, The Rice Bowls, my husband likes the Spring Rolls, their Baked Brie is fabulous. Best waterfront location in town. During the winter months it can be a little chilly inside, but they always have blankets on hand. Good for kids in the summertime on the patio or in the back part of the restaurant, but this is primarily and adult place. read more

This was a pleasant surprise. A hidden gem. It was hard to find and I think deliberately so but it was packed mid-afternoon on a hot Wednesday. The service was great and the server was pleasant and entertaining. Good drinks, great beer selection and very good pub food. It sits right on the riverbank so it has a nice view and I can only imagine that the sunset view is awesome. The food is pretty gross either over cooked or under cooked, small portions. The service is terrible, had to find our own cutlery and waited way too long for drinks especially in the smouldering heat of this hell hole. besides the amazing views that's all this place has going for it. But don't come on a hot day it's horrible! Flies everywhere. Also hot as HELL inside. No real care for customer comfort. Worst restaurant experience to date honestly. Pros about this place would be the location and the food is generally good. However when you enter you don't know where to enter from and neither does anyone else. There are no signs or anyone to greet you whether or not you seat yourself or wait to be seated. After awkwardly hovering around a table we sat down. The service is painfully slow and non existent. Everyone is quite unorganized. Being a server myself you could do the bare minimum and I will tip you well but this place the service has failed every time.
