Poached Bene with Montreal Smoked meat (tasty)
    Doug G.

First time eating here after reading Yelp reviews as a great place that locals frequent. Just 9 min outside the village by Creekside. Stopped by on the way home. Not to busy for a late morning, mid week. Service was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Meals were all delicious and well presented. My fav was the Bene with Montreal Smoked Meat with Mustard. I've never seen this before. It was a great combination, especially with the hand cut hash browns perfectly done. Also, the Bene Poutine was another interesting combination you don't normally see. The added cheese curds with gravy was a perfect fit. Highly recommend stopping by. I will for sure!

The place is small. but one of the best breakfasts around, I stopped here 2 years ago, same employees, and yes same amazing food. I will always make it a point to stop here on my many trips to Whistler.

These portions are massive! Honestly feels like I'm back in Texas to be honest lol Recommend getting the ham over the bacon as the bacon is a bit too salty. Really enjoyed the blueberry pancake as well with Canadian maple syrup of course!

I really enjoyed this little hole in the wall. If you like milkshakes, you have to get one from here! I had the espresso milkshake, and it was to die for..sooo good! I had the blueberry pancake breakfast spread, and it was good... except for the pancakes - very white, very gummy in texture. I like my pancakes cooked, lol. The waitresses and hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very small but very fast. They play great music and will probably have a sporting event on if there's something to play. You will have to wait a bit for a table but they are very fast. I would definitely go back!

A bit overpriced for what it is. The food was okay but nothing amazing. My friend and I came Monday morning around 11:30 and the restaurant was maybe half full. Busier than I thought it'd be on a Monday morning. I started with a large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice for $6.99. It was good but wasn't as sweet as I was hoping. I was starving, so I got the Southside Slam for $19.99, which features two blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, 2 eggs cooked in any style, and potatoes. It was a lot of food. I couldn't finish the pancakes by the end and needed my friend's help for the last couple bites. The pancakes were probably my favorite part of the meal as they put plenty of blueberries in there. Everything else on the platter was pretty standard. They have a good selection of benedicts as well. My friend got the Veggie-licious ($16.99) that comes with tomato and avocado and really enjoyed it. Paid almost $60 for breakfast + juice/coffee for the two of us, so definitely not a cheap breakfast spot.

Great little diner by Creekside, right across the Huskies gas station. It's got a rather authentic feel, like something out of diners, drive ins and dives. The pancakes were great, with a crispy edge, light and fluffy. The rest of the slammer was good, nice flavored potatoes and standard other elements. We made it for the second breakfast wave around 930 and waited about 10 mins. I can imagine they'd get quite busy though and they do ask you to wait outside, which was a little chilly in 1C so be prepared for that. Mocha was quick, drip coffee wasn't great, but all in all a solid breakfast experience with great background music and a few sports on the scattered TVs throughout.

We stopped by here for brunch. Seating was challenging for a small restaurant. We wanted two tables close to each other. There was a limit of 6 people to a table with covid precautions. After talking to staff, they managed to make the table set up work and there was an empty table between the two tables. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich. Food arrived fairly quickly. Portion size was good for the price. There was a generous portion of home fries. My sandwich was loaded with chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato slices. It was very satisfying eating my meal. No complaints on the food. For some reason, the restaurant was not enforcing customers to use hand sanitizer upon entry into the restaurant. There was hand sanitizer located just outside the door. Also, staff did not wear face masks. I was expecting most restaurants would be taking these steps during a pandemic. Overall, everyone at my table was happy with their meal. Great option in the area if you are dining as part of a small group.

Wow, such a great tasting diner. I had the southside slam that includes two blueberry pancakes with eggs, bacon, potatoes and added avocado. The food was incredible, probably one of the best diners I've ever visited. The waitress was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

When you walk in you're promptly greeted by the hosts. We came mid week and tried their spring menu which was 4 courses for 33 before tax and tip. The server was prompt and attentive with a sincere, friendly demeanour. They were out of the tomato soup so we got the chowder and some chips and salsa (not pictured). Both were so delicious. The chips were ultra thick and reminded me of eating bugles as a kid, but way higher class. The salmon and chicken were way larger portions than we had expect , and done to perfection. Chicken is a little spicy but this is the type of service and cooking I liiiiive for! If you've ever had any other Earls scratch that out of your mind because when you come here, this is literally the place to be. Sticky toffee pudding also wonderful. It's not like a pudding more like a mini chocolate cake with toffee, vanilla ice cream and this almond florentine style cookie. Recommend to anyone even vegetarian / vegan as they have a plentiful plant based menu as well. This place is vibes for friends, dates, or a family dinner.

But man this was garbage. She then started arguing with my girlfriend and saying the glass wasn't there. And made a face to the staff about it. Every time we're in the area we stop in a least twice - once as a family and again just for date night with my husband. I'm blown away at the food and drink prices (you can't beat them) . The food is pretty darn good and the drinks are the best. We came in for lunch and I ordered the Warehouse Mac and cheese which was a perfect conviction of cheeses and Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce on Cavatappi Noodles, and it was just spicy and flavorful enough. We also ordered the sun-dried tomato pesto penne and my son had the crispy chicken Caesar wrap - all were equally as delicious. Returning for drinks, i had a couple of the Sour Keys - (Smirnoff Raspberry, Peach Schnapps, Lemon, Sprite and Sour Key Candy) and oh man - they were dangerously good! Both visits the staff was very friendly and attentive, we never had to wait long, and the bar tender was on top of making sure we were always hydrated. Love this spot and will happily return again.
