I walk and drive past this store all the time that I've never had any reason to visit, until recently. It all started when my friend needed a companion to choose her dream ring at The Wedding Ring Shop. This beautiful store is located off of the bustling corners of Pensacola and Kapiolani Blvd. About 10 stalls are available and dedicated to only the shops patrons which are located below the showroom. Entrance is on the street side with big glass windows and brightly lit business sign. At the time of our visit, the Tacori Take Over Event was in full effect, along with a few wedding vendors avail. I've never been to a party like this before. Everything was a learning experience to my friend and I. I was overwhelmed at how everything shined like a thousand stars from the floor to the ceiling. Everything was simple yet intriquete. The aqua blue tree brought dancing shades of light into the room. The showroom is located on the second floor. This is where the magic begins. On the second floor, a photo booth along with a security guard and consultants greeted us. Thankfully my girlfriend had scheduled an appointment with Stephanie from her recent trip prior. After a few pictorials at the wedding photo booth with Stephanie, she whisked us away to the showroom. Stephanie escorted us to the refreshment section of the showroom where there's beer, wine, and mini cupcakes from A Cake Life. The showroom was tastefully decorated by, Weddings by Forrest and Lauran, and 808 Bloom. All the consultants modeled their favorite Tacori pieces of the night. "What exactly happens during a Tacori Take Over Event?", was the first thing that came into my mind. Tacori Take Over Event is when Tacori displays the showroom with some of their most recent pieces and styles from rings to bracelets, earrings and necklaces. Since we were there for one purpose only which is my girlfriend's engagement ring, we focused only on finding that perfect ring for her. I sat back and enjoyed the ride for this very important education. Stephanie educated us first on the different types of metals, settings and diamond shapes in the engagement ring bands display area. She carefully measured our ring fingers according to our rightful sizes along with some questions of what my girlfriend wishes to see. After my girlfriend decided on the engagement ring setting and metal type, Stephanie brought us to the display section of the showroom filled with engagement ring settings without their gems. This is done for deciding on height, changing diamond shapes and sizes making the entire design of the ring easier to see. We were then brought to the diamond bar to see the actual diamonds my girlfriend wished to see closely. This is where we saw color, clarity, cut and the carat weight come to life. Seeing them in person made a whole lot of difference than seeing them in photos. Stephanie showed us two diamonds in princess cut and educated us on the size and clarity of both. My girlfriend was also on facetime with her soon to be fiancé at the time she was deciding on the final style. An FYI, the diamonds displayed within the showroom are all cubic zirconia just for visionary ideas. The real diamonds are locked away and taken out sparingly. During our appointment we met CEO of Tacori Paul Tacorian. He was kind enough to greet my girlfriend and congratulated her. Besides the education, we didn't feel judged that we wouldn't be spending a lot of money on a ring. Stephanie and everyone at the shop were very accommodating. Stephanie listened carefully and closely to my girlfriend and on what she wanted. She turned her vision into life without pushing her towards rings she had no interest in. She took her time to educate us as if we were million dollar customers. Unlike other jewelry shops I've been to, the feeling of being at The Wedding Ring Shop is like as if we were part of their ohana (family). My husband and I visited after we were engaged and ended up purchasing both of our wedding bands from here. The shopping experience Is high end. We had someone working with us from the beginning asking what we liked, etc. I would recommend coming with an idea of what you like. She helped us come up with two designs and try them on for fit. She then helped us with the ordering, paying and care process. This will take a little while to read, but I want to stress the importance of a great experience when it comes to shopping for the one you love. Being one of the most important things I'll ever buy, I really wanted to do my research before starting to shop for an engagement ring, while also staying within a really conservative budget. Was staying in town this past weekend at the Ala Moana hotel so I decided to drop into the wedding ring shop for Mother's Day. Lucky for me I checked into Yelp and got a free cleaning. As for my wedding ring Lisha was able to get custom engraving on the inside of the ring and a love stone which was a surprise to me from my wife! Lisha is like family and we stop by regularly to get our rings cleaned and checked!(if you purchase a ring and get if inspected for free they will replace any diamonds that fall out of the ring. First and foremost Jeanette provided the insight and support I needed for choosing the perfect engagement for my now fiancé. Jeanette met my fiancé to get a feel for her vibe and see what she was into and let her peruse the displays while me and her got to talking about all the C's, setting and band style. While the original diamond I wanted was purchased by another client, she gave sent me videos of 2 other diamonds of the similar carat and quality and while I was on my way to see them in person. After deciding on a diamond she helped me design a band with a hidden halo and no diamonds on it. My fiancé was absolutely stunned and was surprised she like the hidden halo design with no diamonds. EDIT: The manager contacted me and apologized for the experience we had and corrected everything. Literally got my wife's ring instantaneously. I appreciate the quick response to solve the issue and the quality of the ring they produced was excellent. Changed from a 1 star to 4. Sigh... Our initial experience was amazing when we were shopping for engagement rings. I went ahead and bought the engagement ring and proposed. My wife and i got married in March and since the wedding band that we ordered was custom made they were nice enough to give us a loaner ring to take during our honeymoon to europe. When we got back, which was April 19th, they asked that we lend them her engagement ring to match her wedding band. A month after (May 29th), Shirley informed us that the wedding band snapped during the ring making process and that it will be delayed for another four weeks. Imagine ? My wife has been ring less for almost two months ! What sucks is that she said she would keep us informed about the whole thing and give us a final date for when the ring will be ready. And it is now, June 22nd, with no update whatsoever. Oh btw, I still have to pay for a $100 shipping fee which I was only informed on the day i turned the ring in.
