First, the salespeople are as lovely as the diamonds. We worked with Kaila Shimabukuro, who is a wealth of knowledge and very patient. She helped my husband and I navigate through all the possibilities. I fell in love with a half band of bezel set emerald cut diamonds but wanted it to be a full circle. Kaila worked with the manufacturer to have it custom made: 15 diamonds in 18k gold to match my wedding band. The pricing was so reasonable that twice, we upgraded the quality of the diamonds. The finished ring is beyond what I ever could have imagined. It's elegant, beautifully made, and very comfortable to wear. I'm so grateful to Kaila for helping to make my dream come true. I was referred to this location by several of my colleagues in the industry, and I was not disappointed. Amber is truly a gem (pun intended). Called a week ago, asking for Amber's next available time slot on a Saturday (I work Monday-Friday, and I wanted to be able to take my time with this process). They were able to take me in the following week. But just know that Saturdays are their busiest and Amber is requested for often (back to back bookings). Getting here was easy, entrance is on Sheridan Street (one way in) and exit is on Kapiolani Blvd (one way out). They share a parking lot with Runner's Route with about 20 stalls. When we arrived, there's a ring camera and loud buzzer when you enter, but it's nothing to be afraid of. We were promptly greeted by their host, advising that we had reservations. The host sat us down and offered coffee, tea or water. Amber was wrapping up with her previous appointment and joined us shortly after. During the process, Amber was honest, upfront and told us the pros and cons of the things we were looking at. Though other customers did pop in unexpectedly asking for her during our time with her, to which she politely greeted but kept them moving along. Ted (the owner) even stopped by to greet us and thank us for coming in today. All in all, we're happy with our time there. Shopping in Honolulu, Hawaii... A very, very long time ago, I was a customer at Pacific Diamond. I'm sure that I had a different mailing address at that time. Somehow, Pacific Diamond got my new address and sent me a flyer to come in for a free crystal pen (while supplies last) and a chance to win a pair of $2500 diamond earrings! Let's go! The entrance to the free shared parking lot is on Sheridan Street. There's only one way in and one way out. The interior of the shop is spacious, bright, and clean! There are many display cases filled with bracelets, necklaces, pendants, earrings, and more! They're a full service jewelry store with repair services, too. I was greeted right away. I went to the nice lady who had just finished an interaction with another customer. Everyone else was busy with a client or couple! It was easy to get the free pen. Years ago I traded a pair of diamond earrings for a diamond necklace that quickly fell apart. I wrote a review about it and of course Ted Gonzales, the owner tried to justify why it fell apart. He couldn't put the necklace back together and had his jeweler, who must have been an amateur remake the necklace. It was so cheap looking and if I knew that was what I would get I would never had traded my earrings, but he sold my earrings and yelled at me in the store, because I didn't like the necklace. Recently after all these years I found the necklace which I have never worn and tried to call the store to see if if they at least would buy it back. Of course they said no because I wrote a bad, but true review on yelp and they wouldn't do business with me. I don't want to have anything to do with this company, but feel I got cheated out of trading my earrings for a piece that no other jewelry company would trade for. Lucky Ted he made money off of my earrings and I got a piece of junk! I will probably just sell it for the gold and the diamonds which are not comparable to what he got. I just warn any one who tries to do business with this company beware. Some people talk a good talk, but you find the truth out when they refuse to make things right when they do things wrong!! I suggest you avoid this place and go to a place where they make things right not try to get you off their back because they made a profit and careless what you got!! Don't find out the hard way. I also learned good companies don't need to advertise so much, because word of mouth is powerful. Let me start by saying that Aly and Beverly treated us very well when we came in. Both asked if we wanted a beverage and talked us through the diamond buying process. I was hopeful that this would be the last and final stop of our diamond buying adventure but unfortunately it wasn't. They ordered a diamond from an outside source and we were told that the diamond would possibly be in by Saturday. We were asked to pay 300$ to hold the diamond. We were happy to. We were called on Saturday and then we were told that it didn't come in and I would be contacted the following week. I was still hopeful. It is now Wednesday, and had to call and find out what was happening. I was told shipping was delayed and other diamonds would be with it so we can look at all of them and that I would be contacted as soon as they all came in. No call at all until I had to call in to cancel the order since we found one elsewhere on the following MONDAY. It's supposed to be a special time and it was tainted. I got many apologies from beverly and the manager. I was refunded the $$ instantly but I feel it was a terrible experience in the end. read more

We got my wedding ring set from this place when we got married 7 years ago. Had to resize it cuz happiness made me fat . Anyways, I picked up my ring a week before leaving for a trip and come to find out it still didn't fit good. I guess a set of three rings together throws off the sizing just a tad bit. I didn't get my original ring from here, but I got it reset here! I mainly worked with Beverly and amber on my re-setting. I gave her an idea of what I dreamed my setting would be and she created it. A few weeks later a mold came in with what it'll look like. I wasn't in a rush to get it in and she also suggested I wait after the busy holiday season so my ring would be perfect. When it came in around January, I dropped off my ring to be set and a day or two later it was done! Yay! Everyone compliments my ring because it's unique. I made the diamonds go all the way towards the end of the band too so there's 360 degree bling even when I lift up my hand. What's pretty cool about this place is that you can bring your rings in as much as you want for cleaning and it's free! I don't know how they clean their rings but I feel like they clean it the best. I also take in my other jewelry from tiffanys for repair here. And they also do battery replacements for Gucci watches. I had gotten my original diamond and wedding set from this place. They have a gorgeous showroom and the service is great, BUT you pay for that in the price. After seeing a few loose stones and not finding anything within my budget, I decided to call Pacific Diamond Wedding Rings. I got Aly on the phone. From the first conversation, I knew this would be a good experience. Aly was so friendly and asked me a bunch of questions. Then she had 3 stones immediately flown in for me to look at within 5 days. I didn't love any of them. She had 3 more flown in a few days later. After many visits and back and forth, I decided on an oval stone and custom rose gold setting. I could not be happier. It is the ring of my dreams. I did not think I could get the size and look I wanted within my budget. Not only did the price come out better, Pacific Diamond honored the trade in value from the other shop where I bought my wedding ring. They really wanted my business and showed it. Ted, the owner, and Amber, the Manager, got to know me and greeted me every time I went there (which was like 10x over a few weeks). I felt very at home and they gave me exactly what I wanted. They will grade their diamonds higher than they really are. Bought a diamond here like I said in the beginning, and went somewhere else to get an opinion of its appraised value. Thank you for your amazingly inaccurate response. By the way, you failed to address the fact that you quoted me $760 for an original Rolex bezel insert which I obtained from Ben Bridge for $90 (see receipt) You also failed to address the fact that when you originally serviced our Rolex your repair person failed to re insert the pressure gasket for which we had to replace through Ben Bridge. For the record we never sought a refund for the after market bezel you placed on our Rolex which cost more than an original Rolex bezel from Ben Bridge. We simply brought the matter to your attention and asked you to quote the cost to put an original Rolex insert. I mentioned the refund part in my review because if I was a store owner, and realized my poor customer was sold a cheap bezel insert that disintegrated after use, then I would at least offer a refund back and tell the maker who sold that piece of garbage to me to refund me on bezel insert. For clarity sake, the readers should know that during this ordeal, you never spoke directly to us. Rather, we had to deal with one of your sales persons. Any reference to Yelp at the time of our visit was nothing more than a statement of fact. In other words, at the conclusion of our conversation, I gave her the opportunity to say that the bezel was poorly made. She only trashed my husband. No one buys any bezel to have to replace every 2-3 years. After market or not. This was a poor bezel and you had the chance to blame the bezel maker and say you would discontinue using them but you didn't. This is a divers watch. Made for diving. You shouldn't put an after market bezel where paint comes off after use. I gave your sales person the chance to reclaim your good standing but because she only spoke poorly of my husband, I simply told your sales person that we would inform the public of our experience with Pacific Diamond and Swiss Watch Exchange. Since you never dealt directly with us on the matter, any account of what went on by you is nothing more than hearsay. Again, I leave it to the readers to draw their own conclusions.
