Jock was the specialist who assisted my wife and I in making our selection for my wifes engagement ring. As with most guys I knew nothing about rings or diamonds. However, that didn't make the process difficult at all since jock was such a pleasant professional to work with. He gave us all the info we needed to make the best choices that aligned with my wife's personal preferences. Update: Not sure if she is at the shop but avoid Lorah Ashley at all costs. If you sign up for deferred interest financing she will charge the account more than your original purchase price. She will then say that that additional amount is to cover the interest of the deferred financing in the event you don't pay the balance due by the due date (12 months or whatever it may be). She'll also say that if you pay the balance due by the due date the additional amount will be refunded to you. I've paid my balance in full well before the due date and have never received a refund. I'm a little disappointed with the customer service provided by this store. We bought my fiancé's ring here for a few thousand dollars. The order of the ring was a size 9. When we got the ring we noticed that the ring was bigger than when we sized in the store. Initially we thought, maybe we just need to get used to it, so we waited for a month to see if it was us. After a month, my fiancé couldn't keep wearing the ring because it kept slipping off. So we went back to the store, we were serviced by the rep Jock. We told him our situation, he sized the ring and he told us the ring was BIGGER than a size 9. I asked what were some of the options, he asked my fiancé if he lost weight and if that was the cause of the loose ring. I did not understand why he would ask that question, when he JUST told us the ring was BIGGER than a size 9 we ordered through them. To be solution oriented, I asked what were some of our options for rectify this situation. Jock told me, we can pay $100 to ship our ring back to the ring company and get it assessed for additional charges for resizing a ring that was made bigger than ordered. I asked are there other options than us paying additional $100 for a ring to just get it assessed then pay MORE MONEY than what we've already spent and it was sized incorrectly by the ring company, yet we're asked to pay for their mistake. Jock, checked with his manager, came back and said, he'll call the ring company to see what he can do. He said he'll give us a call to let us know. We went to see them on Friday, it's Tuesday today and we've yet to hear back from Jock or the Wedding Ring Shop, as Jock assured us he'll call us on Monday. We are still waiting to hear from Jock and what other options he was able to find for an error made by the ring company. Hope to hear from them soon... read more

I went to The Wedding Ring Shop back in February of 2013 on a whim and was thoroughly pleased not only with the high level of customer service I got, but also left feeling far more knowledgeable and pleased with the engagement ring I choose for my fiance. I came in with only an idea I took off my fiance's Pinterest and some styles I had looked up on the Internet. It really didn't materialize into a tangible item until Lorah Ashley helped me out. She really took her time in explaining the nuances of the different designers and unique aspects of the settings without being pushy. I even went against her recommendations and selected the stone that is now on my fiance's ring. We were assisted by one of the sales representatives named Lorah Ashley and were blown away by the quality of customer service she provided us. Lorah Ashley at the Wedding ring shop is truly as professional and as personal as they get! I went in there trying to find the perfect engagement ring for my now fiance and couldnt be happier with how things panned out. I soon realized that the classification process at the wedding ring shop is much more stringent than any other place. The comparison to diamonds at this shop compared to other shops on the island of the same classification was very obvious which makes me wonder how these other shops can classify their rings as SI or SI2 when they are nothing compared to the wedding ring shops SI or SI2's. The wedding ring shop pays attention to detail, which in my profession is key to success. Just to start off, I am very picky and tend to make every purchase very difficult for not just me but for the sales side as well. Lorah listened to exactly what I was looking for, went through the diamond classification process, and we then began our search. She showed me diamond after diamond and I of course had something to say about each one. As I said previously, I am very picky, and found that the inclusions in the diamond were in places that I didnt like. I wanted to find a diamond that had the inclusions either hidden by the prongs of the ring or in an area that was not visible. I realized I wanted the perfect diamond that would be millions of dollars. I of course didnt have millions of dollars to spend, so Lorah had her work cut out for her to reach my needs while maintaining my budget. After seeing numerous amazing diamonds, she found the exact one I was looking for. Then we went to find a ring....I thought this process was going to be much easier, but again I began to realize that I needed the perfect ring to hold my perfect diamond. She went to all extensive measures and even removed diamonds from rings that already had diamonds to show me how my diamond would look in that ring. She did not spare any expense on her side. We found the perfect ring for my perfect diamond! She even found a way to get me a platinum ring in the exact style i was looking for without overshooting my budget. I could not thank her enough. When I went to check out she was explaining what every other jeweler that I went to told me... When you buy a diamond that is separate from the ring, they must charge you for the setting of the diamond. She said that she was going to talk to their jewler and come right back. She was able to wave the setting fee and get the ring to me in 2 days! This was critical because i was proposing the next day and had to have the ring in less than 3 days! She successfully got me the ring before the proposal date which allowed me to propose to my fiance in the presence of my brother who was only here for a few days which meant the world to me! After the proposal, Lorah checked in with me via text message to see how the proposal went and to help me schedule the final sizing of the ring as she knew that she was not working that day but wanted to make sure i was taken care of! She may not have been working that day, but that didnt stop her from making sure her customer was properly taken care of. Once she informed me of the process, my fiance and i went in to the store to get it sized. The jewler had told her during the purchasing process that he was booked for 2 weeks. She knew how important this was to us and asked him without our knowledge to do whatever he could to get us fitted the monday after the proposal. We went in to the shop asuming that we were going to have to schedule the appointment and then wait two weeks to get the ring sized. Somehow, she was able to get the ring sized the same day that we were getting the ring sized. You should have seen how happy my fiance was at that moment! I thank Lorah for making every second of our expereince at the Wedding Ring Shop so very special and will do nothing but reccomend this place to everyone going through this process. Even if you find the perfect ring at another shop, make sure you at least give the wedding ring shop a once over to see if they can 'one up' your perfect ring. read more
