Don't believe everything u read, honestly absolutely horrible, the batter was actually soggy, and the fries, where hard. I dont know how this place got 4 stars or more! It was awful and a waste of my $45. We had take out fish and chips and seriously there was NO TASTE. Batter no flavour and fish was like same. Even the fries were tasteless. Sticking to Pajos way more worth the drive. read more

Hesitated after reading the reviews for this place, seeing there were some really good and really bad reviews and also that the restaurant was empty but decided to go for it! The inside of the restaurant was clean and is kept well, does not smell a bit greasy for a place that fries the majority of its food, awesome job! I have never tried an all you can eat fish and chips so thought today is a good day, it comes with 3 or 4 pieces of cod and chips plus a bottomless drink, tea or coffee. Although I was told that the pieces are smaller but they seem to be what I consider a normal size. Fries are house cut and were pretty standard in terms of taste. Now, the fish: tastes fresh, batter is fairly light and crispy, I think they are perfect, though I am not sure if the fish was supposed to come unseasoned because I had to add salt to it which I dont usually do at any restaurant, but I am a rookie at having fish and chips so maybe this is the norm and I am just oblivious The server came and asked what I would like more of, fish, fries or both, just before I finished my first plate, I liked that she is being proactive at refilling my food! read more

When you do fish, chips and coleslaw this well, why bother with anything else? Two orders of two piece cod and (apparently a mountain of ...) chips with a large coleslaw split between two adults was just fantastic. I'll definitely be back for seconds. read more

I go here regularly and have since mid 2015. I find the prices reasonable and to date I have not had a bad experience. I always get the same thing, Cod & Chips :-) I would recommend the restaurant based on my experience. There was some initial confusion with regards to this restaurant as one F&C place with the same name closed down (different owners & location in Mission) and this location opened up with the original owners of the other place who had been out of town for a number of years. This review is based on our take out experience as we did not have a chance to come in and eat but next time we will. Ordered two orders of two piece and cod and a side of onion rings and to our amazement it actually came in pizza boxes. The order of fries were massive in both orders and the portions of fish were more than plentiful. Fish was still hot and not greasy which had a really good batter surrounding them (beer batter I suspect) Could only eat the one piece as we were stuffed and saved the left over fries for the next day. Heated everything up in the oven and it was like it was fresh. Will be back again read more

Do you like fresh light batter on nice sized pieces of fish that are fresh, served with chips that are the proper size to fry and still hold a potato flavor to absorb the vinegar or hold the tartar sauce?
