Their Leasing process was slow and unrealistic!! Once approved, they expect you to sign a lease for an apartment, BEFORE you view the actual unit. PLUS applicants must pay the first full month's rent and any prorated rent 7 days after you're approved!! Ask Questions before you enter into their application process. We paid $350.00 upfront and only $100 from the security deposit is refundable. They didn't value my business, so I canceled the lease promptly, otherwise all my hard earned money would have been robbed. They should refund my $150.00 admin fee! Still waiting to receive my refund by MAIL, instead of simply crediting the original method of payment. Avoid Banner Mgt. properties. read more

I have lived here for nearly a year and have enough experience to leave a review with both pros and cons. Overall, this is a nice place to live temporarily, in my opinion. However, all apartments bring issues because you're in close proximity to neighbors who may lack respect of shared spaces. Pros: - I feel very safe here - it is in a great neighborhood. I have not experienced theft of packages or any car break-ins. - Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, and other necessities - The office staff is great! New manager has been so very helpful and nice - Pretty affordable compared to other complexes. Cons: - Cockroaches! I request pest control regularly and maintain a clean home but I still see several cockroaches each week. It's disgusting. - Between the hours of 3 and 7 pm, you will hear children screaming. They run through the parking lots and leave belongings in the stairways - Hot water is regularly turned off for a few hours with little notice - Trash. Neighbors leave their trash outside of their doors and pile it up near the dumpsters. I have even experienced people leaving their belongings near my unit read more

This place is noisy, rundown, and the management is horrible. They called me the night before I was scheduled to move in and told me the old tenants were still living there. I had to reschedule my truck and move everything I own by myself because my family couldn't change the day they took off to help. Wellington broke our contest on day one and now they're demanding $3500 fee because I had to move out early. Seem fair? Avoid this place at all costs. Avoid this place like the plagues. My apartment is infested with roaches!!! I have lived here for three years and was completely satisfied now my apartment is infested with roaches and the pest control and maintenance have sprayed my apartment, they are still here. I cannot eat or cook or feel comfortable in my own home and management does not return my calls or emails They charge you for things with out your knowledge or approval. I would have highly recommended this complex 6 months ago now I say run as fast as you can away from here This only .25 of what has gone down here believe this is not home sweet home, it's being terrified to open the lights at night not knowing what you may find!!!! read more

If I could give more stars I would. My boyfriend and I were desperately trying to find an apartment right after we paid off our collections. We applied with Wellington and they were AMAZING. They put up with me basically harassing them and worked with me as best as they could. They were very involved and very polite. We've been here for about 2 months and we absolutely love our apartment. It's quiet, clean and we've had absolutely no problems with the apartment. The maintenance man is very sweet and quick to respond. Also, the renovations are beautiful and very put together. Thank you guys!! read more

PLEASE READ I DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO BE CONNED OR SCAMMED LIKE WE HAVE BEEN. (I know this is a lot to read but I don't want this to happen to anyone else. :/ ) For now I will write a short version of just saying if they say they except bad credit it's a lie don't waist your money or your time. I explained mine and my husbands situation. (We have excellent rental history, no criminal background, and we make 5 times the rent. ) They told us everything should be fine. I told them my husband had zero credit and mine (I won't say on here but ...) it's lower than 575. When they run your report they do not check Transunion or Equifax. They only check Experian. And their standard for accepting people is they DO NOT WHAT SO EVER IN ANY CASE accept anyone with a credit score below 575 period. How do I know this? Well first off because I literally could not get a hold of ANYONE. They do NOT answer the phone. I am very serious about this. They don't reply to email either. If you get a response from them well then boyfriend/girlfriend... let me tell you.. you better go get you a lotto ticket because you must be having a lucky day. That for us should of been a huge red flag to start off with but we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After we applied there were a few awkward emails back in forth of asking for photos of our drivers licenses and pay stubs. (While still writing our name wrong the whole time during this process) The next day she wrote us an email just saying denied and you will get a letter in the mail. How incredibly impersonal that you couldn't even give the time of day to call us and say sorry that you guys were declined and explain why. No... so here is what I had to do next since they wouldn't answer the phone at all. She sent us the decline email about 2 hours before they closed. So I called a few times and left a message. This is where I took it upon myself to look further into what was going on. I called the credit company that they work with. The man on the phone was very nice and took his time to explain why we were declined and went over everything on mine and my husbands report. He said everything on there was fine and the reason why we were declined is that my score was below 575 and my husbands score was too. That we were both declined. He said that this certain complex has a set standard that they don't accept anyone below that score no exceptions. ( So if they knew this, they knew that our score was below that, then why did you have us apply???) So to wrap this whole thing up please don't let them lie. I can't imagine we would of been happy there if we were actually accepted at this point anyways because of their staff. Who even knows if we will get any money back from the $200 security deposit that we had to give them too apply. I can't even get a hold of banner properties management through phone or email. Anyone who is looking for a place that has low credit. Don't lose hope! You will find somewhere. After being declined from a place like this we were kinda bummed out this weekend thinking well if they didn't accept us with our credit who is... :/ We recently found a place in the last few days that accepted our bad credit and is way nicer than this place, they answer their phones, nice staff, and we got 1124sqft for $1211. The place is beautiful!!!! We are so thankful. So my advice is to find an apartment locator. Tell them your situation and they will help you find a place and you not waist your time. Don't settle for somewhere you don't want to be. Keep your eye on the market of places they send you because prices change daily. I'm telling you the place we got recently is normally 1,400,.1,600 dollar apartment. We got very lucky! You can say either God had our back or Karma did her job. What ever you believe. Do NOT go near this complex! I applied here and then had a sudden change of plans. Without signing a lease, I had to pay a security deposit. SECURITY deposit. You know, that fee you pay to secure your apartment and then get back when you move out so long as the apartment isn't destroyed. Yeah, that one. $250 that I won't see again because this disgusting company thinks it's ok to steal from someone who never even signed a lease. I never asked for the application or admin fee back. I expected to get the security deposit back, but they refused over and over. This is a dirty company with dirty staff. Stay AWAY!! read more

I have lived on this community for about 3 years. I like it because it is a small community and gated. The convenience to having a grocery store, a selection of restauarants, banks, and other perks makes my life a lot easier not to drive! The community itself is always clean, Maintenance is pretty fast at getting your apartment issue resolved, and I feel pretty safe around my neighbors. The only con I have is with the apartment people that drive thru the community. My apartment faces the parking lot so I hear and see drivers speeding all the time. Having that said I hope that more speed bumps can be placed for the saftey of families and kids that walk around the community. read more

Came into town needing a place to live, thought this place would be ideal since it's in a good part of town and around plenty of grocery stores and accommodations! Not-so-much! Roaches, dog poop, trash, gates always broken, cheap maintenance, and inability to control their tenant's wrongful behavior. More traffic going in and out than there were people living there. The inability to do anything outside, not suitable for children living there. Go with a better choice! Avoid as much as possible. Have photo evidence of all claims. read more

I am a resident here for over 9 months now and I am satisfied. The move in process was very professional and seamless. Jaida has been extremely helpful in the entire process. The maintenance staff headed by David are very prompt in response and go the extra mile in ensuring the request is full filled. Front office staff of Jaida and Brittanie are helpful and answer all the queries with patience. Kids are happy with them as they distribute candies when the school bus drops them off. The apartment is in close proximity to Tom thumb, Starbucks , etc. Costco, Target, Walmart are around a mile away. During last summer, the pool was shutdown for few days 2 times. Otherwise this apartment deserves a 5 star rating. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. read more

This is a great place to live especially if you have kids, there are two pools and a kids playground. David the maintenance guy is the best, he can fix and repair anything and he is really nice. I've been here 3 years since leaving California, I enjoy living here. This apartment complex is close to the mall and lots of stores. It's in a good neighborhood. We've lived here for 3 yrs and what was a wonderful place has declined into a ghetto. There are frequent Unannounced water shut offs and rude incompetent staff who will try to scam you out of more money at every turn. The unit fixtures are falling apart, the carpets buckle and the noisy neighbors are relentless. It took 5 attempts to get a lease renewal because the office staff doesn't complete any of your requests. Then Jaida will attempt to charge you fees bc you didnt fill out the proper paperwork, and conveniently forget all the times you asked how to follow the proper procedure. Make sure all your correspondence is in writing bc you will need to defend yourself against them. Don't live here, don't even apply, its a nightmare and the rent is the same as Bentley Place! However Bentley Place actually staffs the office, returns phone calls and doesn't use their incompetence as an excuse to charge you more money. Run. Run as fast as you can. read more

My wife and I have lived here for 2 years and it has been a great experience! The location is perfect and centralized, the grounds are always kept clean, they have 2 great pools, a nice workout room, dog friendly grassy areas, playground for kids (and there is a lot of kids so it's family friendly), and the interior of my apartment was my favorite design after looking at a dozen others in the area. Their maintenance team is top notch. I'm always impressed with how quick they are to respond to even to the smallest of repairs. The manager and staff always keep us informed of any new changes or upcoming events and their online portal makes rent payment and maintenance request fast and simple. They also always seem to be improving and adding more so it feels like it's always getting better! I also think the people who live here are great. It's a quiet neighborhood and I've never had a complaint about noise. Highly recommend this community! You won't regret signing a lease! read more

I don't want to be long-winded, even though our experience here could fill an entire front page of a newspaper. Although I will say that I do not recommend this complex because of our own ridiculous experience just TRYING to live here. That's right friends, we never even LIVED here, and thank goodness for that lol..... Now, yes, the area is great, you have everything right there. Even the complex itself isn't that bad aside from a weird smell inside the apartments and a horribly small layout that makes things like, opening the fridge all the way, completely impossible....I will not recommend this complex because of the rules and the manager herself. In fact it was her, and the person she portrayed to us that made us not want to live there. Really think about that. Mind you, we had already paid a $1300 deposit, and were in the office in the MIDDLE of signing the lease when our encounter with her made us stop, put the keys back on the desk, and scramble to find another place. (Which we did, same day, and are over the moon happy with our decision to do what we did.).....The short story of it all is that as she was aggressively going over the rules with us. This is after them dragging their feet for over two weeks on approval, then rushing us randomly so the manager didn't have to deal with her employees potential residents once that employee was on vacation. Accompanied by a lot of other hoops that should have made us stop before getting as far as we did. BUT! the area was great and right around the corner from our old place. So we kept with it and ignored all the red flags even though there were quite a few. The manager was going over the apartment rules when we started asking her questions about things that didn't seem right. One example is the $50 per item charge with no warning that will be applied to you if anything other than patio related items are on your patio. Now, I am not an unreasonable person, I've lived in apartments for over ten years. I understand not to have a trashy patio with laundry hanging up and trash everywhere. But if my child's outdoor play table gets left out over night, or one of his toy trucks; I do not want to wake up the next morning with a hundred dollar charge for simply living in my space with my child. Which is exactly what she made clear if we "didn't learn to clean up after our children." Her words, not ours. Another example of "her rules", (she made it clear these were her rules because she had been dealing with people and doing this for 20 years.) She stated that there dumpsters get full over the weekend and that they weren't going to pay for it to be picked up. So if one of our bags is found next to the dumpster they will go through it and charge a $200 fine, again, no warning. Again, we are not unreasonable, but when asking what she meant about the "no warning" charges that seemed a bit excessive. She looked at my husband, laughed, and said well then you can just consider this your warning.......So, we decided not to go with this place because it was so blatantly rude, ridiculous, and alarming, luckily found another place to live.....But wait! there is more! what about that $1300 deposit we paid? and all of our financial paperwork we gave them? At first we were told we would not be getting our over thousand dollar deposit back. Obviously that went over like a fart in church lol. Followed by the manager flat our REFUSING to give us back our financial paperwork like pay stubs and letters of salary confirmation. We ended up going above her head and dealing with Banner Properties. They were all very nice and really worked wonderfully with us and the situation. Customer Service for the win!......We are still dealing with that manager, its been a month and we are still trying to get our $1300 back. We couldn't hang with her super aggressive way of business. That complex would do wayyyyyy better without her. Maybe try putting Brittany the leasing agent in charge. She definitely has a way better demeanor with people and issues. read more

I have been staying more than 1 year in wellington at willow bend apartments. it is not so great place put up your family. you need to shed your pocket with huge maintenance charges, in-spite of below average maintenance.In summer half of the time community pool is out of service. Your monthly rent will increase exponentially on your next lease renew. there is no courtesy or respect to residents when you visit the leasing office. the manager shows her attitude when you tries to tell your concerns or problems. read more

We have been staying here for last 3 years. One big plus with this apartment complex is that it is in close proximity to hot neighborhoods and corporate communities. A very practical location. A great school community too. The apartment itself is modest in lifestyle and appearance. My initial interactions with the management was little edgy, for a variety of reasons, but it has started to improve a lot recently. Some times it does come cross that the management is overly restrictive about enjoying the premises itself and very rules-driven, as compared to other neighboring apartment communities who are far more accommodating and sensitive to the residents. But the management is also trying to organize socials and pool parties. There is not much of a playing area in this complex. All in all good. read more

So I have recently co-signed an apartment for relatives who have moved from out of state. All went well and we got the application approved and it was time to move in a few days time. Since the relatives were still out of state and were on the road I thought I should just get the keys before hand so if the leasing office is closed I should have at least the keys before hand. So I called the office and asked the person that I can come over to pick up the keys. I was given the green to come by but when I reached there the person whom I spoke to told me that were some dues that had to be paid before the keys could be handed over. So I called the relatives to make the payment immediately so the dues can be cleared. Also, the rental consultant mentioned if the dues are paid immediately which were then he can leave the keys inside the apartment then it should not be an issue even if my relatives came after office hours. My relatives came at around 3 in the morning and neither the apartment was open nor the keys were anywhere to be found and they had to stay at a motel that night after along day's journey. The person responsible to leave the keys inside the apartment later mentioned that he was off that day and therefore could not do so. What kind of an excuse is that ? Where is the professionalism of this staff member ? First of all he does not let me know that please do not come to the office to pick the keys until all the dues are paid and second he does not make arrangements to leave the keys inside the apartment after the agreement even if he was off that day. read more
