1/2 order of French toast after I already dug into it (: super delicious

Open just 4 short months ago, Nadine's is a delightful little start-up café geared towards traditional American favorites. Breakfast-forward this new shop is a great exemplification of how simple can be delicious. I was in search of parking for a coffeehouse down the road that didn't offer any free parking near its location (of course, because we're in st. Augustine right?). I came into the parking lot with the intention to walk over but something pulled me in. A quiet shop with free parking and few patrons inside off of king street? I had to be the first to try. I ordered french toast and a dirty chai that both came with a generous amount of sweet sugary and cinnamon goodness. After devouring my breakfast-dessert, I wanted to try something savory: a scrambled with home fries and corn beef hash. Make no mistake, I was already full, but that bowl topped it off perfectly. Leaving me so satiated all I could do was enjoy the music, the other customers and my chai. A successful morning made by supporting a small business with accessible parking. Go here.

The food was great and the staff as well. I ordered the dirty chai and I wasn't disappointed at all, cheaper and better than SBUX. I followed up with a combo platter of French toast, sausage pattie's (not crap links like other joints), two sunny-side up eggs, grits with butter and toast. For the price - it was totally worth it. The previous reviews are bogus. If you want no nonsense, quick home cooked meal this is the place.

Corned beef hash with 2 eggs over easy and grits. Plate in back had 2 eggs over medium, grits, toast, sausage.

Cute spot! Quaint with nice service and the food was super tasty, seasoned well, and tasted homemade with heart.

We chose this spot for breakfast/brunch and what a fantastic find. The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale without feeling like you need to whisper or worry that you're holding your fork incorrectly. I went with the Gruyère cheese and ham omelette, and honestly, I'm not sure how they managed to make eggs this light. The omelette was delicate, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The kind of breakfast where you take a bite and immediately start thinking, "Well, now I'm going to have to compare every omelette I eat from this point forward." My wife ordered the spinach and mushroom quiche, which can only be described as decadent. Rich, flavorful, and the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate what's happening on the plate. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service was spectacular, and the entire experience felt like a special occasion even though we were simply there for breakfast. French Pantry was a fantastic find and absolutely deserving of five stars. If you're in St. Augustine looking for a breakfast or brunch experience that feels a little elevated, this is one to put on your list.

Cafeteria like decor, with a large bar area. Some might like this atmosphere, but the food quality and decor, were a turn off to me. As St. Augustine has so many dining choices, I wouldn't go back to The French Pantry.
