I bought 4 tires for my Audi. I immediately had to have all 4 wheel balanced due to the car shaking. Within weeks of the tires being installed, I then had a slow leak. When I checked where it was leaking, there were two spots by the bead where air was leaking. I went to my regular mechanic who said that Dean didn't clean the bead of the tire before mounting them. Could not have been a more enjoyable transaction. Tom is very knowledgable and worked efficiently to accommodate my timeline. My local, independent tire guy closed seven or eight years ago and was replaced - phone number and all - by a chain. My only phone conversation with them told me that their staff didn't know what they were talking about. I looked for another independent shop and found Dean. Perfect experience ! I needed tires and looked around at reviews. Dean looked very good so I gave them a call. I stopped in and Sean checked my tires. I knew I needed 2 tires . Sean didn't try to up sell me on a third tire that is getting worn but still ok. I was given very fare price options and was told I could wait while the service was being done - most places make you drop the car off ,get a ride home, and come back later , which is a PITA. I went into the lobby planning on sending some emails etc... I barely got through one email and was told my car is ready ! They even added air to the other two tires and the pesky pressure light that I couldn't get off despite my routinely filling the tires is finally off ! At no point during the experience was I even slightly pressured to upgrade or spend any more than necessary . That is a rarity when dealing with auto work. What could have been an all day hassle with aggressive sales techniques elsewhere was a stress free, unbelievably quick experience at Dean ! Thank you Sean ! This morning I came outside to find my car's front left tire completely flat. After putting the spare on, my next move was to search tire repair in Morristown. Dean Tire Service was at the top of the list. A vehicle repair shop with 4.5 stars and double digit reviews? Seemed almost too good to be true. So I threw my jack, crowbar, and the flat tire in the trunk (where they didn't belong) and set off to Dean. I drove to Dean's and rolled my flattened tire in to the garage. I was met by a guy who told me he'd take care of it, no problem. So I waited in the customer waiting room, goofing off on my phone. 15 minutes goes by and the same guy pokes his head in and says that he just needs the glue to set in the tire and then it's good to go. 7 minutes later I was in the car and on my way. Here's what really impressed me. The last tire place I went to to fix a flat just returned my tire to me and charged about $50, leaving me to change the spare myself. Dean not only fixed my flat, but took the spare off and put the newly fixed tire on, and put the spare, crowbar, jack, and jack turner-thing back in their proper place in the trunk, all for under $25! If I ever catch another nail on the road, I'm going right back to Dean. read more

Stopped by to get my tires rotated and the gentleman told me that the tires are going to need replaced in the next few months and a rotation wasn't going to do me any good. He DID not try to even make a sell, just told me what I had heard from another mechanic. As I was already there and winter was coming I asked for a quote. It was $300 less than Madison Honda for the best tires he had! I got them on the spot and 20 minutes later my car was driving like new again. It had not been driving well due to the wavy tires. Dean has the best gas prices in Morristown (cash only) and arguably the worst hours. I always see the same notably pierced guy at the pumps, he's very friendly. This location is only one turn off Ridgedale Ave. I've noticed that their gas price isn't always available on GasBuddy, don't let that slow you down. If they're open, they'll take good care of you. I have been coming here since I moved to morristown two years ago and deans has become the place I recommend to all my coworkers and friends. The guys here are honest and reliable, and they always give me good advice. There have been a few times where the cold weather has caused my tire pressure to go down and they checked them for free and pumped the air in for free. If my tires have a real issue, they will certainly tell me but if not, they don't lie to you either. Most recently my front tires were worn out so I got them replaced. The guys recommended a slightly higher end tire (think ten to twenty bucks more) because I was really worried about snow. I was in and out in about twenty minutes. Happy to be a customer here and will continue to come when I need their help and advice on my tired! read more

I saw another shop nearby that had some bad reviews and immediately looked for the next one so I'm glad I found this one. Lucky for me he just had my tires on hand today from someone else who came in. The tire was in fairly decent condition for a used tire I actually wanted another one but he was honest and showed me a plug that was in the other one which allowed me to make the decision. This shop is great. I call a few places near me about repairing a flat tire - $34 and $40 at the popular Gogel's on Rt 10 East Hanover. Read the reviews and called. A friendly voice answered the phone. I mentioned its late in the day can I pick it up the next day. He said come over and we'll do it right away. There were 5 other customers waiting but they had plenty of workers. All were friendly. Fixed it with a new valve stem at no extra cost. Twenty dollars and that was it. Great place. Everyone seemed happy and a few of the customers I saw were regulars. High;y recommended. read more

This gas station is cash only but that works for me since this is the cheapest gas around. The same group of guys work the gas pumps when I go there and they are always friendly. Only fallback would be that they are sometimes closed when I get home from work but I just make sure I stop by another time when I'm working from home or on my way to the grocery store, it's worth the short trip out of my way. read more

They told me the honest truth that the tire is fixable instead of lying so they could sell two tires. Great experience today -- Sean and his co-worker immediately went to work assessing a major leak in my tire when I brought in the car and had me out in 15 minutes. Luckily there were no punctures, faulty valve or any other significant problem, but they spent time cleaning the wheel edge and sealing the wheel/tire to ensure there wouldn't be a repeat -- and generously just waved me goodbye! Super honest -- while i was there I asked for a wheel rotation, but Sean checked the tires and said it wasn't needed, so I saved on that too. These guys have been around forever, which speaks volumes about their great service. I've been going there for many years and would strongly recommend them to anyone. read more

Old school quick service shop with reasonable prices. All they do is tires and this is a good thing... can't find many shops that focus like this anymore. Balanced two front tires that were vibrating around 70 mph and the vibration is now gone.
