Sweet potato fries, BBQ sauce and the brisket grilled cheese
    Lori B.

Went in to meet up with a friend and her daughter. I had ordered the fried Gouda (absolutely recommend). I didn't taste the dipping sauce since I have an egg allergy. Then I ordered the brisket grilled cheese loving every bite. The BBQ sauce is sweet and right up my alley. Our server was attentive to refilling drinks. The food was brought out hot. The baked beans had pineapple in it which added a new (not sure I liked it) flavor. Also had the sweet potato fries and loved dipping in the BBQ. Small dining area and if it's a pretty day there is seating outside.

Stopped here on our way to Mesa Verde National Park as my husband wanted BBQ. Be warned, there is a sign saying "We serve FRESH food. Not fast food." There was only one server and likely only one cook in the back, however they were cranking out food as fast as they could. The server lady was very attentive considering she was the only one working out front. Food was okay, and they had a fairly extensive menu with a few BBQ items, burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches. My only grump, the mac n cheese had way too much cheese and the cheese was a little watered down.

Breakfast sandwich on wheat berry bread with eggs, bacon, chorizo, and green chilies super super yummy!

Passing through on an early Sunday morning! This is a wonderful place , staff was friendly and food tasted home cook! Highly recommend!

What a great find while traveling from Durango to Vegas. BEST Margarita I have EVER had! BBQ was tender, delicious and plentiful (as were all portions served). Considering all the livestock we saw on our journey, we were ready to partake in some succulent meats of both the bovine and porcine varieties and the Wigglin' pig delivered! Mac n cheese was creamy and Texas toast the size of...well, um...TEXAS! Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Prices are very fair. Plenty of easy street parking. Great little town and Wigglin' Pig is worth any road trip detours you may have to get here - FABULOUS!

Happened upon this place based on another post as I am not familiar. Our server was so warm and friendly; like we've always known her! Food was delicious! Brisket was tender and perfect with sauce on the side. Best coleslaw and sweet baked beans balanced it all so well. The chicken was smoky and fork tender. My kiddo ate all her veggies here! Seasoning on the zucchini and squash great. Hubby devoured the drunken cow burger so fast I didn't get a chance to try. Nuff said in that. You won't be disappointed.

Fresh cut of the wheel, hand battered Gouda Fries, house made Garlic Aioli ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

This place is so delicious! Homemade sauces, meats smoked on-site, just amazing! Local Family owned business!

    Leftovers for tomorrow!

Great food and a great atmosphere. Now they need proper refreshments to go with their awesome bar then it'll be my go to place.

We looked for a lunch spot via Yelp on our way home from Telluride…read more Yelp did it again. Loungin' Lizard will be our go to every time we pass through Cortez in the future. We walked in and were immediately greeted by one of the bartenders and told to sit wherever we liked. We found a nice booth off to the side of the bar area. Our server Patrick stopped by the booth and pointed us to the food menu in the chalkboard. We also had another server but I didn't catch her name. They were both very friendly and attentive. I ordered the special for the day. A green chili Rueben & fries. Wow, this sandwich was so delicious! What a creative combination of flavors. Even the slaw in the Rueben included the green chilis. The fries were hot and crispy. My husband ordered the spicy BBQ pulled pork tacos. He said the tacos were amazing and the flavors were off the charts. They were topped with a slaw and pickles. The side of "tortilla chips" had a dusting of a very flavorful spice. Not sure what it was but very tasty. Looking over the menu, this restaurant has some very creative dishes. We can't wait to stop by again! My husband ordered

Portions were generous, pork was delicious, and the mustard cheese sauce was phenomenal. I used the fries to get every last bit. A classic drive in! You don't see those a lot nowadays - most restaurants that still call…read morethemselves drive in end up being more like a walk in. I personally don't like eating in the car all that much, so we were glad to see that Burger Boy Drive In also had seating along the front. It works exactly the same as driving in - one of the car hops will come out and take the order, and then bring out the food. We dropped in a bit after 6:30 pm and the place was completely packed, with basically all the drive-in stalls taken. We sat down and placed our order at around 6:40 and didn't actually get our food until after the place closed at 7! I was amazed to see customer after customer drive in past closing and unfortunately having to be shooed away. Green Chile Burger, 1/4 oz ($6.29) - This burger starts with a buttered and toasted bun, spread with just a bit of mustard on the bottom, followed by shredded iceberg lettuce, pickles, sliced onion and tomato. Then comes a burger patty cooked smash-ish style - flattened with some nicely caramelized and crisp edges, but not as lacy as I would typically expect. The burger is cooked thoroughly until a bit dry in the center. I thought this burger would be absolutely doused in hatch chile, but it turns out they just spoon a bit on top of the center of the patty. It's slightly spicy and imparts decent flavor, but not as flavorful as I typically associate with green hatch. The chile unfortunately is completely drained and doesn't contribute much moisture, making the burger sadly on the dry side. The dab of mustard on the bottom does not do enough to make up for the overcooked patty. (3/5) Fries, Large ($2.79) - These are the typical commercial crinkle cut fries, fried until nice and crisp on the exterior and leaving a fluffy interior. Not much else to say. Fry sauce can be asked for and it's the standard commercial sauce, which works great as the fries aren't heavily salted. (4/5) Buenos Nachos ($6.29) - Interesting construction, with smashed tortilla chips on the bottom, chili and nacho cheese sauce smothering the smashed chips, an additional layer of whole chips above that, followed by a top layer of lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, and onions. It's a pretty simple dish that works well together. The chili includes beans, but honestly isn't that flavorful though. (3/5) Burrito ($3.89) - I had no idea what to expect when I ordered this. It's basically a cheap frozen burrito that is deep fried. The meat puree inside is almost indistinguishable from textured protein, mixed with beans in a very salty and fatty mixture. The exterior is fried well to a crisp, without any leakage of the filling. (2/5) A lot of the 3 star ratings I give are because of major technical issues in the food. I can say that Burger Boy Drive In isn't really in that category. Instead, my rating is mostly due to food preferences. Hopefully my thoughts don't dissuade anyone from visited. Almost everyone seems to enjoy it, as the restaurant was pretty packed every time I drove past it. Bathrooms - I'm not sure there was one that was accessible for patrons. Maybe behind the building?
