The only bad thing I'd say is how dirty this place is. Never tried the food or drinks, so I can't comment on that but man... I cannot believe the health department hasn't done anything about the three layers of dust on the ceilings, the bathrooms... you can't touch anything it's so bad. I can't believe this place has that good of reviews. Overall the people are nice but it's the last place I'd choose to go have a chill time. read more

Bar was very cool until the bartender with a mask who looked like one of the mortal combat villains was a complete c***. Maybe hire more inviting bartenders and this could have been better. This was one of my main haunts in Tallahassee when I lived there and I hope to return if I'm ever back in town. Probably the most eclectic venue I can think of and there is something at 926 for everyone - boasts a diverse selection of music and shows (including live music, drag shows, burlesque, amateur theatre, and more), and hosts a phenomenal alternative night on Saturdays. This LGBT+-friendly venue draws a crowd of fetish enthusiasts, anime geeks, goths, emos, metalheads, fans of '80s oldies and alternative dance music: all of whom will find something to appreciate here. Music selection is variable depending on the DJ, but always a treat. Patio area for open-air conversation, bar for drinking either with buddies or solo, and a video game console stocked with 1 vs. 1 fighting games, a tiki toss game, and a pool table to accommodate the wallflowers. The bartenders always carry on wonderful conversations with patrons and the food served here is a delight. I love this place and have always felt welcome here. Stopped by on a Sunday for some mimosas and wound up grabbing some food after looking at the menu. Bartenders were awesome, barely a free seat while we were there yet they were attentive and quick with the service. We got the chicken and waffle cone and the brunch melt and both were great. read more

I dropped by this place on a recent trip to Tallahassee and I really enjoyed it. I actually blew through on a relatively slow night, but it was still fun. I would characterize this place as a really friendly dive bar. The staff was really nice! The drinks were cheap and strong! And the trivia night was fun. The whole place had a really chilled out and welcoming vibe. If you want to be right where the action is you can stay up near the bar, and if you'd like to be left alone the beer garden is big and spacious. I can't wait to see this place on a night it's hopping. If you are in the area and want to try a new adventure, bring a few bucks and an open mind and enjoy yourself. read more

I went for the drag show and absolutely enjoyed myself. The drinks were good and very reasonably priced. Parking wasn't impossible and the cover charge to get in was pretty fair as well. It's definitely a tight space inside, but probably one of the cleanest bar spaces you'll find in Tallahassee that isn't $10 a drink and up. The best part though is the entertainment. We went for a drag show and it was wonderful. It started relatively late- midnight- and only lasted about 20 minutes. So if you're like me- exhausted but still want to have a good time- it's definitely do-able. The ladies are such amazing performers and ABSOLUTELY beautiful. I just had to go up to each performer and tell her how beautiful and amazing I thought they were and they were all so kind and hugged me and it was a wonderful moment. read more

This is a review by a straight married man: I really like this bar!! it has the best dancing and music, good drinks for a good price and the food is always hot and fresh when you order it. My wife and I and friends come to 926 frequently on Friday nights to enjoy the drag show. Those Queens put on an impressive show week after week. There is humor, lots of energy, and overall the best live entertainment in Tallahassee! To anyone who thinks you need to be LGBTQ to enjoy 926 you are wrong, this bar is great no matter who you are.
