So I was a little hesitant as I always am with hotel food. I usually like to go do a local scene. Well this is probably the only good thing about this four points. (My stay wasn't so good) they have a great happy hour here which is 2 for one drinks from 4-7z The food menu is small but pretty solid. I had the tot-chos which were pretty good. Chili and cheese over gator tots. I tried the "hand-made" spring rolls , I asked if they were actually home made and when they came out you can tell they were. They were pretty solid, came with a Thai sweet chili sauce. Definitely a recommended item. I was still a little hungry and I opted for the crispy chicken and this was not at all what I was expecting. I was actually really impressed. It looked hand breaded, it was crispy, crunchy, and juicy. The chipotle mayo had just enough kick. Juicy blue is one of those rare hidden gems that no one will know about unto someone either physically takes you there or you explore the four points. The restaurant is located inside the four points by Sheraton on Tennessee street and is a vibrant American style restaurant with many different options. The menu is diversified and ranges from curry stuffed avocados to buffalo chicken bites to a juicy 9 ounce burger. Another that stood out to me is the price. All of the items I just named were under 10$ and that goes for the majority of the food except for your more 'premium' items (like steak, catch of the day) I went with some friends for a late dinner (it was probably around 10) Yelp says that the restaurant closes at 11. HOWEVER we learned that the restaurant closes at 10 and the BAR closes at 11. Our server Heinz, however said it was perfectly fine and sat us. We decided to split the stuffed avocado and got the stuffed quesadillas and the juicy blue burger. They were absolutely delicious. We also ordered some of their special drinks (The Long Island, and the four points juice) and they were just as good and were moderately priced. I want to say thank you to Heinz and the kitchen staff for doing such an awesome job and accommodating late guests. All I'm saying is, if you want to try something fresh and different in Tallahassee come to Juicy Blue. read more

Found inside Four Points Sheraton, this restaurant/lounge is certainly not a destination. It is nice to have this inside the hotel,as I was staying here. It is a convenience when tired, I want out of the room yet I do not want to leave the hotel. They have a great happy hour that I believe starts at 4. The food is very much just ok. Not the best menu nor not the freshest. More processed offerings. I do not believe they bread their own seafood yet the menu states this. Kinda bothers me. So no, I was not crazy about the shrimp. The Bruschetta was ok. Again, it is nice to get out of the room for a cocktail to refresh. That is it and not in search of an impressionable meal. I was here once and they had a band. What a hidden gem! I had no idea Juicy Blues existed until I attended a happy hour event here with Yelp. It seems like it would be perfect for relaxing after a busy day with friends and co-workers. The pool comes complete with a poolside bar to keep you well hydrated on those hot southern nights in Tallahassee. And even though it's in the heart of downtown Tallahassee, the bar stays fairly quiet and still allows you to have conversations. We sampled a few of the appetizers during the event and I couldn't get enough of the buffalo chicken bites! So yummy! BOGO domestic beer is also a deal that's hard to beat for happy hour! 'Fresh mozzarella, sautéed grape tomatoes, and balsamic reduction atop toasted baguettes' - a description on their menu for Bruschetta... fresh mozzarella is the reason I ordered it. What I got was 4 pieces of bread that looked like they've been dipped in vinegar with few pieces of cut up tomatoes on top. When I asked the server about fresh mozzarella, he said yes it's shredded and melted inside.. too funny. See picture... Not ordering any more food from this place. read more

I was visiting Tallahassee for a college graduation and stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton. This spot is a nice looking bar and a cafe on the first floor. Its really a hidden gem. They have a great happy hour where drinks are about $4-7. I arrived on a Thursday night and it surprisingly had a nice crowd of hotel guests and locals. The bartender was timely and you could tell was a pro mixologist and very knowledgeable. I also ordered food that was on happy hour. I had mild wings and sliders. They were both really good. As for the cafe, I used it a couple of times during my hotel stay to grab an espresso before my workout. The barista made them well but it was a bit of a wait. According to the hotel they serve breakfast but I didn't get a chance to try it. Overall, I visited this each night during my hotel stay and it didn't disappoint. read more

I went here for capital city cuisine week, they had the most impressive lunch option! They really have some incredible food, from their fried mushrooms to their stuffed avocado! Great cocktails. I'll definitely go back for lunch again soon. Kinda quiet in there. Could use some life but has great potential! read more

As locals to the Tallahassee area, i decided to come here a couple weekends ago and met up with some friends before the UF game. Went to the bar to get some drinks at the bar the Friday before the game and tried to get some drinks. However, the bartender Shay didn't pay any attention to us and when she finally did the drinks weren't that great and didn't taste the same as they normally do when I get them from other bars. Saturday, we came back after the game and the other female bartender, Alexis, was much better and she was very attentive and nice. Also, came back for the Taggart show and the guy bartender, Scorwas awesome and very informative about where to go for the show. Update: Came back again with friends before basketball games and I don't understand why you guys are still letting Shay bartend. She is the worst bartender I have ever seen and definitely won't be coming back. read more

I really liked this restaurant. I'm on a business trip and stayed at the Four points downtown near FSU (my Alma Mater). It is a far cry from what used to inhabit the building. They remodeled the entire building and added this restaurant. The food was tasty. I had the drunken shrimp and the tenderloin. It wasn't something you normally see in Tally. I got the bang for my buck...in both portion size and flavor. Every dish we (me and a couple of buddies of mine) ordered came out really nice and of course it didn't last long enough for me to catch a picture. I felt like I was in DC again eating at some posh overly priced restaurant...BUT i wasn't! Our bill came out to a little over sixty bucks and we ate well. For 4 guys eating that's pretty good. The hotel will definitely get my business again and I will make sure I eat at Juicy Blue again. It's my new favorite spot in Tally town. If you haven't tried it I would definitely check this place out. It's truly a diamond in the rough. read more

There comes this time every so often in a business trip, where you hit the point of being hangry, at a hotel, and you're just feeling lazy and don't want to drive or have to go anywhere. That was me, and so I came downstairs to try out the hotel restaurant, which is something I normally never do. Luckily this was actually a good decision on my part, as I think I found only one of the great hotel restaurants in existence. I ended up ordering a local Beckster wheat tart which was delicious, and figured I'd try out the French Dip since it was lunchtime-ish. The plate came out and the sandwich was overflowing with goodness. It had more meat than I've ever seen on a sandwich covered in onions, and tons of cheese. Let me be clear, this is a messy one, but a good one. I ended up having to revert to the fork and knife, because I couldn't pick up the massive sandwich without meat and onions falling out. It was definitely worth it though because the meat was flavored well and the au jus was also quite good. And the fries, oh the fries. They were so perfectly crisp and Cajun, I couldn't ask for a better pairing for my sandwich. I would have ordered the fries on their own, they were that good. On top of that, if I had waited a few hours I could have taken advantage of their 2-1 happy hour drinks, which was impressive since at $4.75 it was the cheapest craft beer I'd ever had a hotel. Anyone staying at the hotel should give this place a try. read more

This hotel restaurant is amazing! The two staff that waited on us last night and today when we stopped in were incredibly friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable, especially for a hotel restaurant. We got the sample appetizer and swapped the fried mushrooms for zucchini. All of them were delicious. The buffalo chicken bites are lightly breaded which is a plus for me. The cheese sticks were probably my favorite though, very fresh and the marinara to dip in was chunky and flavorful. Next time if probably just get them with how good they were. We both got the Cajun chicken pasta and all I can say is wow! I've had many a Cajun chicken pasta, but this was probably the most intensely flavored. It was spicier than most commercial restaurants, which is just what I'm looking for. It has chunks of green peppers, onions and tomatoes. The sauce is light but rich and compliments the chicken perfectly. The noodles were a little too mushy for my taste since I like al dente pasta, but my girlfriend prefers it that way and I could overlook that with how good it was. My boyfriend and I have been frequenting Juicy Blue since we discovered it a few months ago. They don't have a huge beer selection (which is minus the one star as we're craft brew fans) but full bar, and great tapas. We always order the Georgia caramel, a plate of caramelized peach slices, goat's cheese, a balsamic reduction and crostini. Hard to go wrong on the cheesesteak minis, as well. The bar staff are friendly and fun, which helps, and they show most big games. Probably because it's in a hotel, this place appears to remain mostly hidden from the locals, which lends it a quiet atmosphere to chat with friends and have a few snacks and drinks at their swanky blue under-lit bar. read more
