Also, if you need to call them GOODLUCK! With the constant influx of new places in Denver, a place really has to stand out to become a repeat stop. The Wild is one of those places. Their seasonal cocktail menu is creative, innovative, and has enough variety to appease pretty much anyone. They've also got a separate list of classics - sometimes with their own twist. As $15+ cocktails have become the norm, I find myself crafting most cocktails at home. But, when a menu is this inventive it's 100% worth the cost. While I can make a great Negroni at home, I can't make a Man in the Yellow Hat! And boy was that tasty. :) We've already been twice and will continue going back again and again to see what's new. read more

Solid! We shared a mini plate with berries and other spreads. This place is very cute! They have multiple drinks to choose from. We stopped and had seen a sign that basically lured us in. I got the Stranger Danger which had mezcal, pisco, egg white, orange and vanilla. This was so delightful! Very nice texture and I loved the mezcal and combo of these ingredients. I was thinking more flan, less ice cream in a giant shell. But the pretty latte, pretty decor ( 98 degrees day) cool and comfy inside seating and a somewhat relaxing atmosphere. My table next door was having a loud bro-mance reunion but also talking about someone at work walking right into a me too moment. Cringe! It is owned by the same people as Lady Jane and Hudson Hill, which is why you'll find similar prices and product, yet, with its own unique, attractive twist. I like coming here to do some evening work, writing, or even reading as they are open rather later in the evening. You are warmly greeted and have the liberty of choosing your spot, whether it's inside or outdoors. I've tried several of their alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages and have not gone wrong with any of them. Among my favorites are the Dalgona Whipped Coffee, if you're looking for a good, refeshing kick to keep your day going. All drinks are freshly prepared with a perfect balance of alcohol, mixtures, sweeteners and additives. The ambience is lively, but calm and comfortable enough to enjoy reading your favorite book. All the workers have been attentive, nice, and approachable to hold a meaningful conversation. One of my favorite spots I have visited thus far in Denver. The location, the ambiance, the beverages, the staff. 10s 10s 10s across the board. This is the spot to see when you're near Denver Union Station. If you're in the mood for cocktails or need a co-op place for some laptop work, this is where you need to visit. I love how there are a few small bites if you need to nibble. I loved working at the work station with direct views of the station. It's neatly tucked away so you're not on the main street and can have a bit of an escape from the busyness of the area. The Wild is engulfed in tons of exposed brick and really made me feel like I was in a random alley in Europe enjoying my coffee. From caffeine to alcohol, I eventually moved on over to cocktails with a signature paloma. The fresh pressed grapefruit juice was the perfect touch. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

The service was great and prompt, but the quality of the cocktails, snacks and the prices left something to be desired. Coffee was great! Curried pickled cauliflower was awesome too. My vodka cocktail was refreshing. The rum cocktail my friend got sounded better on paper. The gin pistachio cocktail was the best of the bunch. Next time, I'd skip the cheese. For $12, the portion was skimpy, and I'd asked for GF crackers with the cheese and baguette on the side, but that's not how the food was delivered. The cute and trendy interior at The Wild isn't the only thing that I love about it (but it is what invited me in in the first place). The drinks, small plates, and happy hour deals are also amazing. I came for happy hour on a Wednesday evening and had such a nice time. My friends and I split an order of brie cheese (it also came with apples, jam, and baguette slices) and ordered our own drinks from the HH menu. The Brie cheese was one of the best I've ever had, would recommend trying this if you come here. We didn't get the prosciutto but the table next to us did and it looks really good! I tried the daiquiri and my other friends tried the Syrah Blend and Old Fashioned. We all were very pleased with our drinks. And for $6?! Can't beat that! Both the first bar and first coffee shop I went to in Denver, and I've been coming here regularly ever since. The drinks (both alcoholic and no proof) are delicious, the atmosphere lovely, and the staff above and beyond kind. Without oversharing in a Yelp review, I was having coffee here one day and received some difficult news from a family member. I excused myself to the restroom as I was upset and asked the staff if they wouldn't mind watching my things. I was in the restroom for a while trying to compose myself and one of the workers came in to check on me to ask if I was okay or if there was anything I needed. I told her I was okay but was very touched by the gesture. The next time I came in, a few days later, another one of the staff told me my drink was on the house as a treat from the woman who looked after me earlier that week. It was such a small token of kindness but has stuck with me ever since and made me feel truly at home in Denver. All my green-thumb enthusiasts will love this place- string of bananas everywhere, snake plants, lots of botany. The lighting really set the mood for an intimate setting. It's a coffee during the day and then a cocktail place at night. Though- you can still order your coffee, latte, or espresso if need be w/ a splash of liquor too. I am not a big drinker though wanted to taste the "Mexican Firing Squad as I only do tequila... YUM! My boyfriend also loved it too. All equal parts of elements were bursting with flavour in my mouth. My bf ordered "Animal Cracker Milk Punch" and said he was over the moon about the combo of favours. Absolutely will be back. First things first - the cocktails at the wild cannot be beat in Denver/Boulder (we've tried). They are delicious, unique and perfectly suited for the time of year you visit. The menu changes fairly often and never disappoints. The service is 5 stars, super friendly and knowledgeable staff/bartender. James is a great guy who is super friendly and obviously a cocktail wizard. The limited food offerings are really great, but mostly for snacking or having a bite if you've got some time before dinner. Ambiance is wonderful. We usually sit at the bar so we can chat with the staff or just enjoy the beautiful bar. Last but not least, the coffee. It's great, but admirably we're mostly here on a Friday/Saturday night so we visit for the cocktails. read more
