I love the brightly lit dining area at Kaffee Landskap and have co-worked there a few times when in Denver. And what goes well with some computer time? Coffee and a breakfast sandwich! I appreciate their many healthy options and have enjoyed their smoked salmon salad and Egg and Cheese Sandwich. I also love that their espresso shot comes with sparkling water. Have to use the bathroom? Ask at the counter and they'll guide you to the shared bathrooms down the hall. If I had one critical feedback it would be on their smoothies. I've had a few, but most recently the Almond Hemp Protein Smoothie, and they are so incredibly thick that they are impossible to drink through a straw. The viscosity is such that they are really only edible with a spoon, like a smoothie bowl rather than a smoothie in a cup. Overall though, a great spot for some coffee and healthy snacks! read more

Why ruin a good thing?! I used to come here at least twice a month. They changed their menu and sadly for the worse. This used to be a great option if you wanted a plant forward meal as they allowed substitutions of their quinoa power wrap to exclude egg and add tempeh and chickpeas. They also had a sweet potato sandwich that could be modified to be dairy free and an excellent tempeh bowl with tons of plant protein. None of these items are available anymore. The only remaining items is a kale salad bowl with chickpeas. The wrap is still available but no longer has those customizations. Due to this I will not be returning. We love this place. We have been to both this location and one on Platte Street. We love the Scandinavian vibe and design. Everything we have ever ordered at both locations have been excellent. We stopped here for breakfast the other day and happy we did. The Avocado toast was seasoned well with spices and a vinegar that elevated this to a better than average avocado toast which they tend to be. The breakfast burrito was healthy, filling and delicious. The coffee is not acidic as we drink it black and notice if coffee is balanced. I was searching for a cute cafe spot to try when visiting town and was looking forward to stopping by Kaffe Landskap. The interior was bright and inviting but the ambience and service was not. Maybe it was a bad day to be at work (or customer experience isn't big in this city) but staff was cold and honestly the customers weren't the nicest either. I had a simple order of the island blue smoothie which had mango, pineapple, banana, oat milk and blue spirulina. It tasted good for the warm sunny day in Denver. Stepping foot inside the area is quite large and they have plenty of space for those looking to enjoy a drink and getting some work done. They had all the typical offerings you'd expect plus specialities as well. Both my wife and I decided on a speciality offering that was a blueberry lavender for her and a maple sea salt for me. Both were solid but from our trip not our favorite spot. Which that could solely be from the drinks we chose. Service was friendly and drinks didn't take long. Got the Ethiopia pour over got a seasonal drink of Rosemary brown sugar latte. They are delicious!!! Period. There are other offerings. But I am only here one evening. What I got was yummy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ambiance of the place is relaxing and cozy. The place is also clean. I don't live in Denver (wish I did), but if I did I would be at this place often. For drinks, I ordered a chai latte. I was told it was "spicy" but I actually found it pretty water-y and not spicy at all. I wouldn't order again or I'd order at double strength or add an espresso shot. For food, I got the ramen bowl with chicken. There's lot of natural light and wooden furniture so it does feel quite modern and bright. It's located at across the back of Union Station where you find a lot of restaurants and dining. I ordered the croissant ham and cheese. I was expecting the deli meat ham but it's not. It's a nice thick layer of ham which I like and the cheese and egg paired really nicely. I was working remotely at the Serendipity Labs coworking space and decided to stop by Kaffe Landskap for lunch. This Scandinavian coffeeshop is located inside Union Station, found through the outdoor patio or by weaving past the various boutiques. I did the latter. At first, I thought the barista was just having a bad day, but several other reviews reference their cold and disengaged demeanor. I don't love that, but what do I know? I ordered a Breakfast Burrito (didn't add bacon but should have) and it was delicious. Simple, fresh, colorful, and filled with a good amount of ingredients. I wish there was a sauce or salsa to go with it, but maybe that's culturally rude to say. Came here with a few co workers on a snowy Tuesday. The aesthetic of the coffee shop is very cute. It is quite clean and spacious. It is a very convenient place to eat or grab coffee if you are in the down town area. The line took a little while which was fine but the employees seemed very annoyed for no reason. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, I did like my bruschetta sandwich however it was a tad soggy. I took off two stars, one for the attitude of employee as well as them urging me to give a tip. I come to the counter, pick up the food and throw it away my self. I am fine to tip a dollar or two but very uncomfortable when they ask. Plus they got the number wrong on my sandwich which caused a few minutes of confusion and I'm sure is why my sandwich was a tad soggy. Second star is because the prices are very expensive. $3 for a bag of chips and $17 for a sandwich. Pretty pricey for an average meal. If you aren't a Starbucks fan, it can be hard to find good coffee and food really early on a weekend downtown. Enter Kaffe Landskap. Turns out they were born in NYC. There are cafes in Manhattan and a roastery in Brooklyn. And somehow they decided to branch out to Denver. Lucky us--you don't have to drive to IKEA in Centennial for your Swedish fix. Also, it is better than the IKEA cafe (sorry IKEA). What I liked: coffee was well-made. Foam on the latte was perfect. Tasted good. Swedish pancakes were good and rather savory, which I prefer. I hate to say that I have a favorite coffee shop, but this one is consistently my go-to. I love all the wood tables and chairs and how open and airy it is. I always get an iced cold brew with vanilla and it always tastes the same and it is always delicious! I can't say enough about the food. Everything is made to order so it is very fresh. They have so many options on the menu compared to other shops in the area. My go-to's are the breakfast burrito and avocado toast. I also love the vegan banana bread. Everyone can find something to eat here; their menu is super allergy friendly. If you are going to work here, just know there are limited plug-ins, but knowing this, I make sure my laptop is fully charged before I get there.
