I can not believe I found this restaurant by chance driving on I-10 in Crestview Fl using this App for a place to eat besides all the fast food chains along the highway . I came upon the Wild Olive. It was location a few miles off the highway going north Seems like a few miles then your there looking at This house that been converted well into a restaurant.after looking over the menu I knew we found the perfect stop, my wife and I ate very well and we walked out with all there desserts to go and tried them when we got home to PC, Fl.can't wait to go back!' Hands down the best restaurant in Crestview! Excellent food, nice service, clean and convenient. The seafood dishes are my favorite - fresh fish with various preparations. The shrimp and grits are also good. I wish they accommodated vegetarians a bit more, but they were willing to make changes to their entrees as requested which was helpful. I personally recommend the bacon wrapped jalapeño appetizer, Caesar salad, shrimp & grits, and whatever dessert you wish. Anytime I am anywhere in the vicinity of Crestview for a meal, I have to stop at the Wild Olive. One of my absolute favorite restaurants. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Not a lot of heathy options for meat ---they only had pork sausage, bacon, and fried chicken to choose from for breakfast. Food was bland. I expected my side of Gouda grits to be a lot more flavorful. Carrot cake tasted old like it had been refrigerated for too long. I've lived here awhile now and have waited for awhile to eat here. Due to the virus I haven't had a chance to experience their atmosphere. Their food did not disappoint. I had a salmon dish that had this wonderful glaze that complimented the salmon very well. Mashed sweet potato side and a veggie. The sweet potatoes can't touch my wife's but it was very good. They delivered to the house which was nice and one thing else to note. They used a high quality carryout container. People don't consider the ease of transport that sturdy dinnerware provides. Bravo. We just finished up our Easter meal they prepared for us. It was very good. Will definitely be traveling to The Wild Olive again. read more

We went here for our date night several months ago and I forgot to post a review! The food was hands down the best I've had at a restaurant in a couple years. I got the duck and it was so juicy. Mouthwatering! The only thing I don't like is that we had a reservation and still had to wait a good 15 minutes before being seated. Other customers, were waiting as well and they don't have much of a waiting room. That might have changed though as we saw they were doing some work to the place. Even if I'd have to wait again it's still worth it. Crestview is full of regular food but this place goes above that. read more
