Did not expect a place this good to be here. Good coffee, good breakfast, good vibes. Came here in the dead of winter and needed a place to spend half a day on my laptop. They got wifi and lots of tables. With the good food and cappuccino, I couldn't ask for anything else. Just order up front and they'll bring you the goods. Biscuits and Gravy: Get Gravy was creamy, savory, and rich. Biscuits were fluffy and moist. Eggs and potatoes were okay but didn't bother me. For a small town like Torrey, this was an amazing stop when heading through to Capitol Reef or after a good hike (if you get here early enough because they closed at 2pm when I was there) Food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Price: 7/10

Had mixed berry danish, chocolate croissant and two chais- very good and prompt service. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my salad but needed probably 4x the dressing and they never check on you. So I had to go back to the front to keep asking for more. They also locked the doors on us while we were still inside eating - I think they were trying to close but that seems weird to do to customers. My husband didn't seem to care for his sandwich but my daughter loved hers and loved her Thai tea as well. She loved her raspberry lemonade sorbet as well but none of us cared for the flight of ice cream we tried. The juniper berry tastes like cleaning product and the lemon poppyseed is too on the nose - literally tastes like the muffin instead of a dessert really. I liked the blackberry the most of them all but not enough to order a large one.

It was hard to find good food in Torrey on a trip to Capital Reef but this place was an absolute gem, we visited multiple times on our trip. The breakfast was delish--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite hit the spot, and it was the perfect start to the day before heading out to explore. And the coffee? So good. Smooth, rich, and exactly what you want on a cozy morning. The whole vibe is warm and welcoming, making it easy to linger a little longer than planned. If you're in Torrey, this place is a must. Amazing breakfast, great coffee, and a spot you'll want to come back to again and again.

There aren't many options in Torrey so we gave this place a try for breakfast. The coffee, I believe from the roaster next to the shop, was definitely good. Had a berry pastry that was tasty and we also had a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich ingredients were good but the biscuit it was served on was hardly enough to consider a sandwich. The country breakfast potatoes could've used a little more salt, but otherwise the food was good. Would definitely return here again.

Great coffee and some breakfast options. Busy on weekends but I definitely recommend spending more time here. I guess they have 2 different coffee shops within one place or maybe the other one is only for ice cream. One of the only nicely decorated cafes in the Torrey area in my opinion because other options that I tried were having no quality or coffee at all. Staff is friendly and helpful towards your requests.

Used my Yelp app to find this little spot in Torrey while visiting the "Fab 5" National Parks in Utah. We ordered the egg scramble, biscuits and gravy, and an orchard salad -- all three entrées hit the spot and were flavorful and satisfying. We also tried a lemonade and a latte, and both were great. Would definitely recommend and happily return on our next trip through the area.

The Wild Rabbit is a fantastic spot to grab breakfast in Torrey! We stopped here instead of eating at our hotel, and it was the best decision we made all day. While it looks like a small storefront when driving past, they have a lot of nice seating in the space next door where you can grab a table by big windows and enjoy the sunshine while you eat their delicious food. We wanted just a simple breakfast, so we ordered off the "bunny menu" of sides, getting scrambled eggs, chorizo, and toast. We also got a cappuccino and drip coffee. The eggs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the chorizo was especially delicious. The cappuccino was really outstanding, one of the smoothest and least acidic ones I've had. We were there early enough that my husband snagged a discount chocolate croissant from the basket near the register. I would highly recommend stopping at this cafe for a satisfying breakfast and excellent coffee to start your day in the Capitol Reef National Park area!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee before heading into the park. Fast and friendly service. Great selection. Interior and exterior seating to suit your mood.

Got a breakfast burrito with avocado instead of meat. Kind of wish I had gotten sausage, but it was still good. Heavy on the bell peppers & onions, not enough eggs & cheese for my liking. Came with a side of rosemary seasoned red potatoes which were great! And garnished with orange slices. Also comes with sour cream and salsa on the side. Tasted very fresh. Decent sized burrito, split it into two meals so as to not overstuff myself. Was sad to see that the menu photo listing it as $12.99 was outdated -- the breakfast burrito is now $14.99 which gets rung up as $15.00 even for some reason (however there is a small cash discount). Inflation is ruining everything! I remember when $8 was an expensive burrito at most places. Cafe has ample indoor and outdoor seating with a lovely view, and some T shirts for sale. Service was friendly.

Staying in Bicknell after visiting Capitol Reef National park and needed a place to eat dinner…read more This place had lots of positive reviews so this was our choice. Wow! Reviews didn't lie! It's located in Torrey- you can spot the gravel parking lot with lots of cars in front. In fact we actually didn't see the restaurant because there were 2 rows of cars parked in front-a good sign! The menu was varied- from pizza ( more about that later), steak, salads, sandwiches, trout, mexican food. Good selection of alcoholic drinks, beer and soft drinks and even ice cream floats. The meals came with a choice of salad or soup and choice of baked or mashed potato, fries or vegetables. I ordered the steak sandwich which was strips of steak with grilled vegetables -onions and peppers, cheese and a spread of guacamole. It was served on crusty ciabatta bread. I asked for no added salt on the steak and they graciously accommodated me. It was nicely seasoned and didn't need the extra salt. The meat was nice and tender. Hubby ordered the starter dish taco (2) and it had a large piece of battered fried fish. It was crispy and moist. It could be an entree! I saw other diners order the burger and it was thick and large. Another party ordered the large pizza- let me tell you it was huge-almost big as a lazy susan. It could easily feed four or more. And the price was so reasonable- $23 for the premium pizza and $22 for the others. Looking around, all the meals that came out were generously portioned. No wonder the place was full! In spite of the steady flow of customers, the staff was very friendly and helpful and came by to refill waters. We didn't have to wait too long for the food in spite of the busyness. For those wanting a good meal after a day in the park, come here!

The atmosphere is casual, family-friendly, and relaxed. They have both indoor seating and a large outdoor area, which is nice in the evenings when the weather cools down a bit. The service was interesting because it felt very inconsistent depending on who was helping us. The male staff members were attentive, friendly, conversational, and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The female servers, on the other hand, seemed distracted and less engaged overall. More than once, we noticed they brought the check without asking whether we wanted dessert or needed anything else. It did not feel rude exactly, just uneven in terms of attentiveness. One thing I really enjoyed was the whiskey sour, which came complete with a little umbrella. I had not had a drink with a tiny umbrella in forever, and honestly it added an unexpected level of vacation happiness to the evening. Sometimes small details carry the mood. The house salad was actually very good, especially because they were generous with the avocado, which immediately earns points in my world. We also had the trout with mashed potatoes. The trout was decent, though a little dry, but still enjoyable enough after a long day outdoors. We noticed a lot of people ordering pizza, so that may actually be one of their stronger menu items, though we decided to skip it this time. Overall, Rock Reef Cafe is a solid, casual option in Torrey. The food was decent, the drinks were fun, the atmosphere was comfortable, and while the service could be more consistent, it was still a pleasant enough experience overall.
