I needed window coverings for 4 bedrooms, and I happened to receive a flyer in the mail for this company. I took a chance and called, and I couldn't be happier. Neil is reliable, punctual and trustworthy. The shades were ready in 3-4 weeks and installed quickly afterwards. Window treatments can be a pricey investment, so I love that Neil stands behind his work and product. For example, I had a small issue with one of the honeycomb cellular shades. I called Neil and he decided to replace the whole shade based on my description of the problem. He came out as soon as the replacement arrived and installed it himself. Not very happy with the quality of the blinds been having some problems.. The first time I had a problem. I had him come to fix the blind. He wanted to charge me for a "service fee" after he told me that it would be no cost for repairs... The only reason why he didn't charge me was so that I could pay to write a review for "Angie's List"... I have another problem with the blinds but there is no way I'm going to pay $75 for a "service fee" after I paid double of what I could have gotten from home depot. read more

We bought the blinds from the company and Neil was professional in his approach. However, after the installation, the blinds started having issues and Neil send his team to correct them. Now, after 1 year, we are still having the same issues and inspite of me trying to reach Neil's phone number multiple times, I never received any call back. Spent over 3k for such poor quality blinds and such a bad customer service. Update... Neil called me after seeing the review. Actually, it was my mistake that I was sending messages to his land phone and hence he was not receiving my messages. I shopped around and had 3 quotes, one was really low, one really high and Window Blind Connection was in the middle. Neil is easy to work with and he did an amazing job with the blind replacement and blackout curtains in our office. The window was rounded and not an easy install but Neil measured twice and had another of his associates measure to make sure that each blind fit perfectly. The blackout curtains were custom made, Neil helped us find a neutral fabric and he had the drapes backed with a blackout liner for us. Our VP is very happy with the way her office looks. I bought a house last summer and only half the windows had custom shutters and I really wanted to finish the house and make it look uniform. I contacted about five different company's to do the job. The first three company's I contacted had an automated recording to leave a message and someone would get back to me, to this day none of those company's have called me back. The fourth company was The Window Blind Connection and Neil picked up the phone, I was literally surprised to get a live human on the phone. We set up an appointment the next day. The fifth company I called and left a message, they actually got back to me the next day right before my appointment with Neil, I set up another appointment them on Saturday. Neil was at my house right on time, was very straight up, and I got a good feeling about him, but I never make a deal without looking around a little. I told Neil that someone else was coming the next day, and that I would let him know. The next company was nice, but I felt like a number too them. The price was a few hundred dollars less then Neil, but I didn't feel like I would get taken care of like Neil promised he would. I don't spend six thousand dollars very much but when I do, I want to feel good about it. I called Neil back and told him that I was going with his company, he asked me how it went with the other guy and I told him. He went above and beyond for me. I got a similar letter in the mail from the owner once the shutters were put in. He wanted me to write about how great he was in Angie's List. Overall the shutters are not bad. They put the wrong molding on both of them, but I chose to overlook that. What I couldn't stand was the owner's sarcastic attitude. He was pushy, and arrogant as well. I only chose him because he offered to take $50.00 off of the lowest quote that I had. In retrospect, it wasn't worth it. After doing price comparison shopping,we bought blinds for our home from Neil about 9 years ago. Recently, we had a problem with a cord on 1 of the blinds.(not bad considering we had 29 installed!) Neil came out personally and took the blind and returned promptly with our new and improved one, and installed it himself! I moved into a new home a little over a year ago. I have wood blinds in my entry that have a valance over them. The clips for the two valances were broken and the blind company was no longer in business. I randomly reached out to Neil b/c his company had good reviews. Gotta love YELP.... The reviews were true. Contacted Neil based on the ratings I saw on yelp. Service was personal, professional, and the job was done well. I got blinds with motors and remotes, and one did not function properly, so Neil had it replaced at no cost. I also had curtains installed with a rod on a bay window. Neil really helped with the decision process and in selecting colors/styles. Installers did a good job too, and all were accomodating on scheduling. On the replaced motor, when the installer prograrmmed the remote, I was not in the room, and the remote was programmed slightly different then the original set up. Maybe my fault for not checking before the installer left. I could probably have him come out to "fix" but will just learn to do it myself, as I should know this, or just let it be. read more
