As a first timer of a wine spa experience and being on a trip during the holidays, this was a wonderful experience. My friend and I did the Pinot dreams which came with 20mins of vinotherapy immersion (hot tub with red wine) and follows with a 50mins massage which you can consult with your masseuse if you would like a full body or concentration massage. The vinotherapy immersion experience was one that I'll never forget. You are welcomed in your own private space and you can adjust the bath to your liking. The overall experience was very soothing and stress free. Staff is really nice and the space is clean and serene. Would definitely come back if I am in the area!

What a privilege to have such a unique spa experience here in our own backyard! Such a calm space conveniently located on Broadway so I didn't need to go out of my way for my self care. I was treated to a soak and massage combo. As I checked in, they offered a complimentary glass of vino and then led me to my private room. Jamie, my masseuse, was super kind and guided me through the process of a 20 minute vinotherapy soak in a private tub with jets and lights. After I relaxed a bit, I dried off and Jamie gave me a wonderful massage focusing on the areas I requested. She was excellent!! I felt at ease around them, the communication was "just enough" and had check-ins on pressure and preferences through out. I feel truly pampered and definitely recommend this experience for yourself, or to gift to loved ones!

I had a facial with Alia here and it was fantastic. My aesthetician was very informative as well about products she recommends for my skin type. The facial incorporated grapes into the serums and masks. The whole experience was really relaxing and the products smelled so good. I definitely purchased some of the products to start my own regimen at home. My skin still feels so soft today. I would highly recommend for a special self-care day, a girls day out, a holiday gift. I will be coming back!

Fabulous gift sets to try out various Caudalie products used by the estheticians in their facials!

The Wine Spa provided an inviting and relaxing experience curated by caring and attentive staff. I received a VinoHydra Facial with Alia and left with noticeably more hydrated, supple skin (which is perfect for the PNW fall season). I fell in love with many of the Caudalie all-natural, grape based skin products used and purchased many of them at The Wine Spa's affordable and beautifully curated retail section. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend!

I've been going to Body Aware Massage for years. I have chronic back spasms that come and go…read moredepending on my stress, exercise and injury. I have had many massages to deal with back pain, and although the other therapists I have been to are wonderful. I was looking for neuromuscular help more than a 'me day' massage. I have found the right therapist in Harmony Haney. I'm hooked. The first time I went to Harmony I had been unable to walk for 2 days, and after our first treatment I was able to move and perform the relief/prevention exercises she showed me. Harmony has created such a welcoming and calm environment that belies the intensity of her technique, that I was almost surprised after my first visit. She asked questions and got to know my body and was emotionally present as well. Her advice and instruction for post-massage is knowledgeable and effective. Now, as a regular client I am able to better recognize bad patterns or form that cause my back issues. When I do over-do it I have Harmony to get me back to a comfortable place with less downtime and repetitive movement injury. As a competitive paddler I would highly recommend Harmony for anyone who pushes their body (sometimes too hard) for relief with both the immediate physical repercussions of injury and the prevention of repetitive use issues. Although I do like my massages intense I also appreciate the relaxing aspects of Harmony's practice. She makes you feel instantly comfortable and welcome, with special personal touches that invoke a spa-like feel, and an atmosphere of relaxation and compassion. She combines healing and wisdom with bad-ass muscle bending skills that will keep me coming back forever.

I visited Loyly after a coworker recommended it as an affordable place to do a sauna. Price wise,…read moreit absolutely delivers. The staff was friendly and service was great. That said, the overall experience did not quite meet my expectations. I booked the sauna and a foot soak. The space is large and open, and the bathrooms are co-ed. In the back near the saunas, there are hard wooden lounge chairs for resting between sessions. I personally found them uncomfortable and not very relaxing, which felt like an odd choice for a spa environment. There are two sauna rooms, one designated quiet and one more social. Even so, the overall atmosphere leaned very social. People were talking, laughing, and moving around, which made it harder to fully relax. For me, it felt more like a communal hangout than a serene spa escape. If you are looking for an affordable sauna experience or planning a social outing with friends, this is a solid option. It is approachable, lively, and budget friendly. If you are seeking a quiet, white glove, deeply relaxing solo spa experience, this may not be the best fit. For that level of ambiance and calm, I would likely look elsewhere.

I was a bit worried it would be crowded on a weekend, but we went Saturday night, and it wasn't crowded at all (after 5pm). I recc the foot soak with upgrade of signature mask and tea. The sauna wasn't unbearably hot which was nice. They even had swimsuits to borrow in case you forgot yours. If I lived in PDX I'd be here weekly. Thank you!

David and Rhonda are both exceptional massage therapists, and genuinely good souls to boot. I have…read morebeen going to Catalyst for about a year, after having visited my fair share of various massage therapists in the past decade for various injuries, ailments, and garden variety stress and tension. David has special expertise in myofascial release and trigger point therapy, and I have been amazed at how helpful his sessions have been for my lower back, problematic ankle and hip, and stubborn tightness and aching in the neck and shoulder area. Rhonda is equally gifted: her touch seems informed both by deep knowledge of how the body works and an almost uncanny intuition for what you need. Both of them are also very attuned to what you ask for, and check in regularly to see how you're doing. Catalyst is in a fairly small space in Kenton, but they have set up the environment very nicely-- so it feels warm, comfortable, professional, and inviting. I should also add that I have found the hot towel aromatherapy add-on very pleasant!

Going through therapeutic massage for a back…read moreinjury in the beginning of the year taught me that massage is indeed important and definitely worth the cost considering the holistic benefits. I would absolutely see Rhonda again--her demeanor was immediately warm, calming and welcoming, and she was an attentive and skilled massage therapist. Her space is small and nice, with diffused natural light and a super comfortable and impeccably clean massage table (and space in general). She changed the bedding on it depending on the treatment I was getting, so I was comfortable, warm and happy the whole time. She tailors your treatment to you completely, asking about music, oils and health questions ahead of time so the treatment goes fluidly and you can relax fully. The treatments were great (I recommend the papaya scrub and massage combination) but getting to know her was even more of a highlight. I'm sure treatments are usually quiet except for the music, but I had a great time chatting with her and feel like I came away with an awesome new friend!
