The cheese plate was horrible. 2 different types of cheeses, one some kind of maple and the other a type of mustard? Not even the waitress knew what it was. Food was not good. Butter roll with salad was stale and flavorless. My meal came with freezer burned beans and breading on the fish that was more like pudding. My wife's meal came incomplete. No sides, or salad as presented on the menu. Management blamed the server. The wine is the same you find at any local winery. We won't be back I hope you stay away. read more

Sad I didn't think to look for the Yelp! check in deal! That definitely would have improved my experience. We were here on a gorgeous afternoon and sat outside. The space is lovely, but the view is lacking compared to other wineries in the area. We shared a sample tray of the wines, and my personal favorite was the blackberry. I thought the apple and cherry wines were both just awful. We did sample other non-fruit wines, but nothing was memorable. The food was ok. A lot of it seemed processed and low quality. The daily special Greek salad was very fresh and a good value though. I also didn't like that the food was served on styrofoam plates - way to detract from the whole 'classy' ambiance they're so obviously trying to go for with the decor! We just didn't have a good experience on our first visit. That being said, if you're in the area on a wine tour, I wouldn't skip it, it's a pretty place and maybe, maybe we'll give them another try sometime. Our server took some time to make it to our table, then when our glasses dried up, wasn't around. In fairness they were busy and she was probably busting her butt running around, but we ended up calling it a night after giving up on a 2nd glass. In fact since we couldn't even get another glass, we also gave up on ever getting a bill and calculated our cost plus tip, left cash and hit the road. Wine was enjoyed, not super memorable, but enjoyed. I would skip the pizza. We ordered mozzarella and garlic.It was very disappointing. Was really hoping for pizza oven quality homemade pizza. This may have been homemade crust but it was undercooked and very small. If they had a outdoor pizza oven that you could get fresh pizza outside it would be awesome! read more

If you're not a local do not bother going to the winery at Spring Hill. My party Visted this winery as part of our bachelorette weekend and we were very excited ! When we arrived at 6pm we gave them our reservation and were seated right away. Patty 2 greeted us pretty quickly as we were one of two tables in the restaurant and she preceded to ask us for our drink orders. We received our drink within 5 minutes however it took about 15 minutes for her to come back and get our appetizer order and after asking several times she finally remembered to bring the cream and sugar to my coffee which at the point was cold.she finally came to take our order after trying to flag her down for about 10 minutes since she seemed more interested in taking to everyone else . At this point we had eaten our appetizers and were waiting on more drinks.... while she was taking our order at 6:45 she stopped in the middle to talk to a regular then resumed taking our order only to tell us she needed to speak with him because when he was there last he decided not to pay his bill and she needed to make sure he paid. We all just kind of looked at each other finding it weird she would tell us that. We Flagged her down to ask for water to no avail because she kept forgetting since the place was starting to fill up for the evening. we did received our salads but our bride was brought Italian dressing instead of oil and vinegar, patty 2 said she didn't put it on there and the kitchen put it on the plate and walked away only to talk to another table for 7 minutes instead of getting her the correct dressing and since she didn't bring our water I went up and asked a different employee for her dressing. We gave patty 2 another 5 minutes to get water but she was still too busy socializing so our bride went up to the bar to get our pitcher filled.... so around 7:20 we were at our wits end I flagged down patty 2 and told her we just wanted our checks that we were done waiting and instead of saying I'm sorry or we are backed up she just turned her back and walked away.... she came back 3 minutes later to tell us our food would be done in 3 minutes we said that if we could just get it to go that would be great since we had been there since 6. She left our table to talk about us to the table behind us who turned around to look at us while she was talking about us and they then proceeded to talk about us. 5 minutes went by and we finally received our food as she dropped it on the table and just walked away..... so two of us went up to the counter to pay and she handed it off the the manager who was very apologetic and took a percentage off our bill but patty 2 remained by the bar to see if we would say anything Bad about her..... and here it is patty... we got home to our cottage and opened our to go boxes to find burned burgers. The fact that they were incapable of putting cheese on a burger so redicilous.... I'm sure this is a great spot for regulars but if your From out of town I would definitely avoid this place at all costs read more

Live music, excellent service and tentative bar staff. They were a trip and defiantly made the bachelorette party feel welcome! We went to the east side of Cleveland to explore a park we had not been to yet. After leaving the park a little thirsty and hungry, we found this winery. The location is great with ample outdoor seating. The inside was a little dark and not a warm environment. The menu was adequate, and the wine selection was as expected in Ohio. We tried the cabernet - which was OK. The issue seems to be the service - too few servers for the number of patrons. We waited way to long for our food and the order was incorrect so we waited a second time for the correct order. No offer was made to reduce the bill for the mistake. As it was the first order to come out took FOREVER! If you are in a hurry avoid this place! We would not go out of our way to return! Too bad - nice building and nice outdoor patio! read more

Our server Amanda was very good, even thou she seemed overloaded. The food was ok, the wife had a BBQ burger that was medium-well, not medium rare as ordered & the ribs were tasty but very fatty. We had a very fun time. There was a wedding going on when we were there, but everyone meshed extremely well. The service was pretty slow, but they were slammed. The issue with that was we were on a tour, so waiting for the food etc. began to push the clock a bit. One of the things we ordered was the cheese plate; while we were waiting for our food, I decided to get my Yelp on. That's when I saw that checking in got us a free cheese plate. Our server said that it should be fine. However, ultimately, she brought both: the original order and the free cheese plate, which was quite a bit smaller, and she apologized, which, of course, wasn't necessary, as they were giving us something free. Again, this is not a criticism, but just so you know, the free cheese plate is a few pieces, one variety, with a couple crackers, but the one on their menu has several varieties, a couple different crackers, and a few meats etc. It is quite a bit more substantial. The prices were great, even for an entire pitcher of sangria. Also, don't worry, while it isn't typically ideal, the outdoor, concrete dance floor suffices for a full moon walk. read more

SpringHill was the last stop on our wine tour and it was my favorite! Loved the live band and dancing, it has a great atmosphere. I was with my boyfriend, dad and stepmom so I think it's a better place for a group. Used the Yelp check in to get a cheese plate and bought a pizza too. Absolutely horrible!! Food was extremely over priced and looked like it was from Giant Eagle! The Garlic and cheese pizza looked like a frozen microwaved pizza. The Ohio plate was expensive and literally bagged cheese and pepperoni that looked like they ran to giant eagle, bought it and threw it on the plate. The Veggie Burger looked like a morning star frozen patty and was absolutely horrible to taste. Our poor server was by herself and overwhelmed.. took forever just to get our bottle of wine. They used cheap plastic plates to serve our food on. The place was over all horrible and I would never come back.. I would recommend others not go. read more

Staff was VERY friendly! We had two premium wine flights and the reserve Chardonnay was our favorite. We tried two soup specials and were happy with both. I had their version of a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich; it was very tasty and the meat was tender. My wife had the Vino Burger. It came with a Merlot reduction sauce that was outstanding! We asked if they sold the sauce by the jar or bottle but alas, that was no an option. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.
