Simply put...the best wings I've ever had. I've been all over the country and haven't found anything comparable. I agree with some of the other reviewers that it's a little bit on the pricey side. The last time we ate here it ended up costing us around $60 And there weren't any leftovers and I think that we probably could've put away another pound of wings. Hearing that there is a good wing place near our house made us happy. We love wings, you see, but our favorite spots are a bit of a jaunt. We ordered takeout from here last week and last night we came in for dinner in-house. The inside is pretty small, the bar only has four stools. They actually have a very nice patio for a strip mall site. The menu has quite an array of sauces, listed from top to bottom as mild to hot. Between our two trips we sampled eight on wings, plus last night they let me have a couple samples on my own that I knew Jess wouldn't like. Of all of them I'd say the most original and tastiest is the hot honey mustard. Excellent flavor, although neither of us felt there was any "hot" to it at all. In fact, all the sauces we've tried that were on their hot scale seemed closer to medium. That's when I was offered the way too hot habenero, which was more to my level of desired spice. They also gave me a sample of the Diablo sauce that is being made for a challenge. This one is not messing around. Not for the faint of tongue, I can promise you. Excellent flavor but it will begin to melt your face from the inside out after about ten seconds. The tap handles boast great brews from local places like Grist, Epic, and Dry Dock, which I really appreciate. They offer a good variety of sides, salads and sandwiches. And both times we've been here the people were very friendly. The wings are big, but the biggest downside is the sauces are very watery so the wings were drowning. I feel that if they thickened the sauces up a little more then it would adhere to the wings better. And if you're a capsaicin addict like me make straight for the bottom of the list. I will probably be checking them out a lot, especially knowing that they deliver to Dry Dock. If you're a wing fan in Aurora, this is the place to be! read more

This past Friday was my second visit to Wing Hut and I have to say, if how packed the place on both of our visits is any indication, this place is pretty great. Like so many things in Aurora this place is tucked into a strip at Hampden and Chambers, pretty close to Dry Dock. They have a crazy amount of sauces, far more than any other wing place I have ever been to. We've tried 7 sauces now. So far my favorites are the spicy peanut, the pesto parmesan and the chili lime. On our first visit we tried the xxx-hot. It kinda melted face off but Jeff S., having burned off his taste buds long ago found the heat a wee bit lacking. I'm looking forward to going back and trying some more. It will take several visits to make our way through all of them (seriously, there's a lot). The wings are also decent sized! No sad little skinny wings here! They have a full cajun style menu besides the wings which I am itching to try. So if you're not in the mood for wings you can definitely still find something to nosh on. I've got my on you jambalaya! They have limited seating at the bar but we were lucky enough to find a couple of seats there during our second visit. The bartender was really friendly and new her stuff when it came to the tap beers. The beers rotate and have they have a good selection. I had a ginger lemon radler from Boulevard Brewing and a Mandarin Nectar from Alpine beer. Both were suggestions from the bartender and they did not disappoint! This is by far my favorite wing place. I always order the same thing (Parm Garlic and Honey Hot), I know I should try something new but those two flavors are just so good! The Wing Hut is one of the best wing purveyors that I've ever experienced. The wings are tasty and sold by the pound, so you don't have to worry about getting a particular size of wing. That being said, the Wing Hut wings are the perfect size wing in my opinion. My favorite sauce is the Bee Sting (honey buffalo) - amazing flavor, good heat but not overwhelming. The wings come swimming in the sauce, which I recommend eating with fries or okra. Yes, the fried okra is a great side for wings and.. the blue cheese is ridiculous. I mean, it is the best blue cheese. Don't mess with the ranch, get the blue cheese. After eating wings, there is nothing better than finishing off a Bee-Sting infused cuplet of Wing Hut-blue cheese by dipping some of that okra in there. I also tried their red beans and rice and that was good. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other Cajun offerings-- don't overlook these, even with the prominence of wings in the name. Tried this place for the first time today and it's amazing! The food was really good (we got medium buffalo and honey hot wings and mac and cheese bites), and the people were great also! Wings here were good! We tried Asian, Fire Ranch, and Jerk. Would get these flavors again. Nice little neighborhood joint. Has a variety of beers on tap and such. My group really liked that they had buckets on the table for discarded bones without having to have them in sight on your plate. A couple dislikes: 1. They charge for ranch/ blue cheese - you're already paying (somewhat high prices in my opinion) for the wings, that should be included. 2. They also charge for carrots and celery. I just had a great experience at Wing Hut! My boyfriend and I love dry dock, since they don't serve food we decided to look for food around there. We found Wing Hut a couple weeks ago but finally made it there today. Immediately I was impressed by the friendly welcoming demeanor of a gentleman who I assumed was a server; he greeted us warmly and immediately took and filled our beer orders, he gave us the perfect amount of time to contemplate our wing order, and was attentive and helpful throughout the process. Our wings were amazing, and I mean - food so good you chew extra slow to taste it better - then he insisted on bringing dessert (absolute magic) to our table on the house. I have to leave an in depth review that maybe 10 people might read, but it's necessary. Let me start with saying my wife and I have been losing weight (Both down 30+ pounds) and we have cheat meal every Saturday. We were both rather heavy, so we indulge in foods that can be super greasy, yet delicious. We love fast food, Mexican, wings, pizza, etc. We can mow down a ton of food and every cheat meal we spend close to $100-$150. There's nothing more that pisses me off than having a disappointing cheat meal, because not only would it have been expensive, but the most exciting part of or week would be our night out and it could be a let down. So let me get to my review on wing hut. Personally, I love to get Wingstop with paddle board pizza or dominoes thin crust. I really do like wingstop, but every time I eat there I feel a rumble in the jungle that unleashes an unholy beast inside me. The taste of wingstop is delicious. The wings at every pizza place I've ever been to is that breaded crap with a meat that is super questionable, so when we get pizzas and wings which is 80% of our cheat meals, we get wingstop. So I am going to compare this Wing Hut to wingstop. Now let me just start by saying the taste of the wings is extremely comparable to wingstop. However, the wings at Wing Hut tasted like they weren't tossed on the floor before eating them. They tasted fresh and had a 20% less grease factor than wingstop. Driving home after a burger, 2 pounds of wings, curly fries, straight fries, funnel cake fries and a burger I still feel relatively fine. With wingstop I'd be crying to my wife to get the preparation h wipes or leaning outside my car to get rid of everything I ate in one fell swoop. The wings were delicious, but so are wingstops. They just had a better care factor. Since this is such a long review let me wrap the burger, fries and dessert into one paragraph. I'm a burger connoisseur. Some of these burger places are getting out of hand and as a fat man I just want a natural burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mayo. This burger hit the spot. Delicious. Now the fries were good too. They had 20% less grease factor than most places. As a man who loves curly fries from Arby's, I would come here for curly fry's now before I ever touch Arby's. Arby's curly fries are the greasiest food on the planet holy cow, but those cheddar melts are goddly. We also ordered the funnel cake fries and I don't have to say much about those. Who makes a bad funnel cake honestly... just delicious all around. Now the staff. They're just excellent people. Personally I don't like to talk to people at all. I hate having to order my food, order my movie tickets. I would rather order everything my phone and just have someone drop it off at my doorstep, so I don't have to have any interaction with anyone. Everyone here was super friendly and I loved being there for the hour I was there. Enjoyed by wings, beer, burgers and dessert. I from Southern louisiana so I really enjoy all things spicy...these were described as hot to very hot by the host..... My partner had the bee sting which had a great flavor... but lacked the heat I like....saying great flavor is a gross understatement...the bee sting sauce at the bottom of his tray was like sweet nectar :) and I helped myself to it, incessantly! Today I had the dry rub, boneless Kung pao (spelling?) Absolutely delicious but again lacked the heat I enjoy. I was under the impression this rub had ghost pepper but I found these to be a 2 of 10 on heat. The funnel cake fries with strawberry shortcake topping were absolutely delectable. Perfectly fried with all the toppings on the side, per my request. Mmmm Mmmm sooooo good!! Will definitely be back! Want to try the Fire Ranch, Raging BBQ and any recommendations the host suggests for extreme heat. Oh and their ranch dressing seems homemade and is scrumptious!! read more

Disappointing. The wings were small, though cooked ok. Fries good. Gumbo flavor ok but watery. Red beans and rice also watery. Flavor was OK but lacking. Shrimp po boy was the most disappointing item. Seemed rather industrial with absolutely none of the charms of a real New Orleans po boy. I saw really good Stars on this place and decided to try it for the first time. It's in a strip mall and easy to find. But when I walked in I immediately noticed that several of the tables needed cleaning. I still tried to remain open-minded as the order taker was friendly. (Btw, I only saw the table busser come out one time while some customers had to clean their own tables.) They charge by the pound (lb) and I ordered the 1/2lb, 4-5 wings order. I received 5, but the wings were pretty small and the Buffalo sauce was just OK. I also ordered a small side of fries and they were swimming in Salt. I normally like salt, but they were so bad I literally had to use a napkin and wipe off each fry just to eat it. I was going to take it back and complain, but the order takers were busy and I didn't trust the "cooks" to Not do something to my new order.
