Anywho, came to LA for thanksgiving and went here on my way to Black Friday shopping. Done and fixed very nicely. Except - my iPhone Touch ID isn't working. Utterly and completely lacking in customer service. I was out on the road making sales calls this afternoon and my car charger wasn't working. Finally my phone went dead while I was on the 5 fwy. I pulled off on Colorado blvd and was so happy to see this place right away! I parked right in front and ran in with the intent of quickly grabbing a charger and going. When I walked in, the place looked deserted. I waited to be greeted, but didn't see anyone. I was thrilled to see a variety of chargers and accessories displayed on the wall. When I walked towards the display I saw that there was an employee there--slouched behind the cash register talking on his cell phone. I made eye contact with him and he held up a finger to me in the "hang on a minute" gesture. So I waited. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was on an important call. But after a moment of listening in I realized he was on a personal call. I waited a minute, two, maybe three... then I thought "this is ridiculous. This guy doesn't want my business". I turned and walked out. Drove down the street and went to Target for a phone chrger. Ugh. read more

I refuse to use a cover for my iPhone because the whole point is iPhones are thin. That means I have to get my screen fixed often. (I never claimed to be bright).ive been to many places to fix the phone in LA. This guy comes through for me every time. i decided to take my iPhone 5s to have the broken screen repaired. The phone was given to my 7 year old by a friend that upgraded to the new iPhone 6. The phone worked even with the broken screen when it was given to me. I dropped it off at The Wireless Lab and was told it would be done in 2 hours. i never received a call so the next day i call them and was told the phone had water damage, bad battery and could not be fixed and for me to go and pick it up. All i can say is when the phone was given to me i saw it working and calls were being made on it. I had it sitting in my bedroom for about 3 months in a plastic bag with the charger and no where near water. In my opinion they needed a good working board and switched it out with a water damaged board. I would rate this place a big ZERO and tell everyone to be careful. I took my iPhone 6 here to be fixed because I dropped it and shattered the screen. It looked horrible with so many cracks. There were two other broken phones ahead of me, so it did take some time, not 20 minutes like another reviewer stated* in the Review Highlights section of this page, however, it was ready before the estimated time given AND the work was impeccable. Beautiful new screen, my iPhone looks brand new. I also got a better case while I was there, so this broken screen incident could be prevented in the future. He could have tried to sell me a $30-50 case, but he recommended a very slim, ultra protective case usually $25 but sold it to me for $15. My cheap one that had offered no protection whatsoever had cost me $10. I highly recommend this place for a fast and professional screen fix--pick up a case while you're there too, you never know when your slippery hands will drop your phone again! *It CAN probably take 20 minutes if you go when they're not busy, just don't read the other reviews and automatically think it'll take 20 minutes, only to get disappointed and/or frustrated when they tell you it'll be longer! After writing this, I checked other Yelp reviews and other people said 1 hour, 1 hour 20 minutes, which is how long it took for me as well. read more

You get what you pay for. Next time I'll spend a little bit more and get the OEM screen from the Apple store. Maybe I'm just picky but the screen they replaced on my phone didn't look near as sharp, the blacks weren't quite black and everything appeared just a bit lighter and more washed out. I wish he told me he wasn't using OEM screens to replace BEFORE he started. That said he did the work I paid him for so there's that. Ugh. UPDATE: So the owner was nice enough to offer for me to come in and get a replacement screen but I'm across the country now so not going to happen. The screen began cracking within a week after writing this and cracks kept adding. I went to replace here and was told apple would not service because of the non OEM phone. Lesson learned: saved only about $10 over OEM and paid dearly. read more

I was told about this place by a coworker. I'm glad I came. I was helped by Mike who was very professional. There was a customer before getting his cracked screen fixed as I was so I dropped off my phone at around 12:20 and mike called me around 2:00 pm the same day. (fast) Apple store was charging me $150 and I have "apple care". I have an iPhone 4 and I didn't feel I should pay that much when my upgrade was within the next month. My husband and I with a bunch of friends and family we've recommended to go here for repair. I used this place so many times and it was great. Recently I took my cracked screen to him and went home. I got a call saying I need to pick up my phone that he can't fix it and I have to take it to apple. When I got my phone back I noticed half my screen was blacked out!!! Why?? It just had a crack with no light damage . I took it to apple they said a third company that opened the phone messed up the back lighting they were able to tell by opening the phone . Never again will I use Wireless Lab. I had an LG phone with broken screen and digitizer. Instead of waiting on my insurance, I decided to try these guys out. First off, they never once made eye contact with me or provided assurance my phone would be ok. I Pre Paid $100 for the repair in hopes I could trust them and waited for the parts to arrive. 2 days later they say my phone is fixed. I get the phone back and it was not closed properly and was popping open. It also overheated so bad it almost burned me. Then the phone froze entirely while using GPS and I had to take the phone back the next day. A good business will realize when they made a mistake, own up to it, and fix it. It was obvious they did not put my phone together right, and when they gave it back to me fixed told me "It was never broken. You did something to it". So they blamed ME for them not properly fixing my phone. It has not worked right ever since BTW the touch screen still is acting up. They admitted they put USED parts in these phones also. I would rather get a new phone and service than deal with these CROOKS. read more

This place is awesome. My phone was water damaged. I was driving down Colorado when I saw a cell phone store I never even knew existed so I decided to give it a try. I went in, told them my problem and they immediately had a solution. He told me to leave my phone with him for a free diagnostic (whereas other places charge). They did everything they could and were very professional. Eventually, they gave me various options for my phone (which was as dead as it gets) and I decided to sell it to them. Their price offer was better than the other places that offered to buy my phone. I later went back to get a case for my new phone (after seeing their exceptional selection of quality cases) and until this day everyone asks me where i got my case from lol. For months my iPhone 6 would only charge for half a second and would take 20-50 attempts before it would actually charge. I brought this into the Apple store and their only solution would be to replace my phone with a refurbished one for $399. I brought my phone into Wireless Lab and they were able to immediately diagnose my phone. They really took the time to figure out why my phone wasn't working properly even though they were about to close. About 45 minutes later and $80 to replace my battery port aaaaand battery, my phone is fixed!! These guys were great! read more

I took my daughter's iPad mini 3 to get the screen replaced a couple of weeks ago and was charged $100 for same day repair. This was great news because Apple quoted me $299 to replace the entire iPad when all it needed was the screen to be replaced. When the ipad was returned, it worked initially but after a couple of hours the screen did not read every time my daughter or I tapped on it. I decided to take it back to have the screen replaced and they told me that sometimes the screens can be faulty but they would replace it again, no problem. These guys deserve more than five stars for the superb customer service they provided as well as their patience with a mom and her newborn son trying to get the iPad mini fixed for big sister.
