Placed an order for pick up during this Covid Pandemic over the phone. They told me that my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I showed up in 25 minutes. Order wasn't anywhere near ready. They made me stand out in the 30 degree heat for another half hour waiting only to get cold fries with both of our items. They use the bay door in the front of the restaurant as a pick up window, so everyone waiting for their food is right in the way of people walking on the sidewalk! read more

I usually love this restaurant, however I am hesitant to go back because last time i went i was about halfway done my burger and about to take another bite, and I find a black straight hair strand (I have curly brown hair) entangled inside of the patty. This means that as the patty was being made, there was a hair that got inside and the hair was cooked into the burger, yum. I definitely feel like the quality has decreased since it first opened. The food was definitely better and made with care and now it tastes and feels super assembly line. Even the water has a gross taste to it most of the time. Honestly burger king is better. read more

I actually went beginning of February, but just adding the commentary now. The food itself was ok. I loved the gluten free bun option (thanks), but we ordered a coffee and it was served in a measuring cup. I don't know if YOUVE ever drank HOT COFFEE from a tapered cup and spout, but it didn't work for me. I asked for a mug and was told by the waitress that they used to have some, but they broke them all. I noticed a couple fruit flies (not the season) that freaked me out, but the yellow mustard had thick grime on them from patrons handling them and not being cleaned. Eww. Go clean your ketchup too, but being red you can't see the grime as much. Decore was ok, but I worry about the kitchen cleanliness too. read more

Recently went to The Works in Burlington after contemplating on where to eat. This place caught me off guard. Amazing burgers - I tried the Kamakaze (a Work's speciality burger) and it was the perfect blend of spicy and savory. Will, no doubt, go back again to try their other gourmet burgers. Save yourself, your wallet and your stomach the trouble. Awful place. The day we were there four tables complained about their food and I actually sent back my burger. I would have gladly eaten a hockey puck instead of that hard gristled chunk of desiccated floor kill. A shame because the variety of burgers looks great on the menu. Went there for the first time with my mom. The decorations caught our eyes; they definitively went all the way with their industrial theme. They have an amazingly large and diverse choice of burgers and even milkshakes. The burgers were delicious, made from fresh and cooked just right. I ordered the man o' war burger at the waitress' recommendations for something a little on the spicy side. My burger was just spicy enough to tingle the taste buds but not too much. My mother's choice with Montreal meat was also very very good. The sweet potato string fries were crisp, fresh and so delicious we couldn't get enough of them. The milkshakes we got were uber-good; portions were quite large though for a "medium". I am definitively recommending the place for anyone who loves burgers in an unique place, or just anyone who wants something special to eat. read more

Best burger place i have ever been. So many choices! My fiancee had an elk burger. I went with the "ho-hum" and added bbq sauce with a side of the thick cut onion rings. Lots of drink choices. The most horrible rendition of a "Burger". My wife and I, upon ordering, were asked if we minded our burger juicy and a little pink in the middle. We both agreed and looked forward to our $17 burger. What was delivered was a blackened thin disc of beef that could have substituted for my shoe sole, and when I called the server back to address this, she apologized and gave me a free coupon for next time. But, the burger was still on my bill, and I still left a tip, because I do, and the coupon went in the first bin I passed, never, ever, ever, wanting to waste my food time on this place ever again. read more

Great food at a decent price! Not a great price... Lol. Drinks and milk shakes come in measuring cups, portion sizes are huge and there is a huge variety in burgers and sides. Really really fun place to eat. The decor is industrial, they even serve drinks in measuring cups which is fun. Lots of different kinds of burgers to choose from plus an abundance of sides makes it easy to find something for everyone. I've been here with my friends as well as my parents, even my grandfather, and everyone loved it! I also always have leftovers to bring home which is a huge bonus. read more

I visited this restaurant with my family (5) and the waitress was too rude ( the Burlington location ). She was not in a good mood ( the girl with a tattoo on her arm ). We had a good meal. Kids enjoyed it. Took a while to get the food, but it was worth it. If it had been a longer wait I don't think it would have worked with the kids. Otherwise, service was good. Love. The nacho libre is amazing! As a boring burger lover I was shocked at how much I liked it and with the option of a turkey burger it was incredible. I crave it on a daily basis. They have a loyalty card which I love and we always have amazing service here. Only sad thing is their bar or lack there of.
