ordered the .75 wings with raspberry barbeque. Got home no bleu cheese, no celery, wings were undercooked and hardly touched on the grill and sauce was like regular sauce. Called them and they said oh we don't give bleu cheese and celery with .75 wings. They should have told you! Say what? How cool is it to have an entire vegan menu!?!? I'm not talking about two little options, I'm talking about good ole' Buffalo-style food but made vegan. Wings, pizza, fingers, nachos, potato skins. Sure, it's not healthy but it's comfort food and it's VEGAN. It's good for the planet folks, get on board. It's usually pretty busy inside. If there's more than a couple people in line it's hard to tell where the "line" actually is which is annoying. They have a large seating area so you can eat inside but it's nothing fancy. Most of the tables are covered in sticky ice cream from the ice cream shop that shares the same building. We usually eat inside since it's a long drive for us home and our food would be cold by the time we got there. Service is good, and if you're sitting at a table they try to bring your food out to you if they can. Food is a little greasy, but that's to be expected with pizza, wings, fries, etc. Last time I ordered the Vegan Buffalo Chicken Pizza and half of my vegan "chicken" was actually real chicken which was upsetting. Prices are a big high, but as we view this as a treat and don't order here often I'm ok with that. read more

Not at all good pizza. I've given this spot several tries and every time the pizza disappoints. Not sure if it's poor ingredients or the cooking method or what exactly it is, but the pizza is awful. I finally made here!!! And I finally got a vegan chicken finger sub. I also got fried cauliflower and French fries which turned out to be those double dipped or breaded fries that are extra delicious. We ordered on line from the parking lot. Their site connected to the Slice app which supports local pizza businesses as I understand it. It took all my instructions including that I was outside and informed them , then when the order was ready they brought it to the car for us. Now let me tell you how good a vegan chicken finger sub tastes. The sub roll was toasted and everything inside was fresh and delicious. It tasted just like chicken fingers with blue cheese but vegan. And I told you the French fries were those coated delicious ones. The fried cauliflower was very good and included ranch dipping sauce. Since we were eating in the car it would have been great to have napkins, but we didn't request them so..... and we were going next door to try Jamie's custard after which is connected conveniently!!! So I'll have to try their pizza another time , but it's impossible to find vegan chicken finger subs so if you've got a craving it's definitely worth the drive. read more

Since there were so many vegan options, wanted to give them a try. Vegan nachos seemed simply like stale grocery store chips, with spare amounts of vegan cheese and lettuce and olives. No tomatoes, onions. Could've made them better at home. Had asked for thin-crust (vegetable) pizza and it appears more like deep-dish. It's super-pricey, and skimpy on the vegetables. I got the chance to check out this spot yesterday! It was pretty good for the most part. I wasn't in the mood for pizza so I decided to get some vegan quesadillas and rusted potatoes. They have a pretty extensive vegan menu. One of my favorite things about the experience would have to be a customer service experience. When I called to place the order and even called back with questions. She was so patient and attentive to my needs. When I had questions that she wasn't sure about the answer to she followed up with the staff to figure out. I also was It was an overall good experience. Decided to give it one more try. Huge mistake!! Ordered large thin crust cheese with fried dough and 20 BBQ wings through the Slice app. Took over 90 minutes to arrive and was room temp. Fired dough was raw, pizza was thick crust with burnt clumps of garlic powder on the crust. Wings were overcooked and dry to the point of being inedible plus only got 19 wings. Ordered Pizza and wings to try. It was a large cheese and pepperoni pizza and 30 hot wings. Ordered online for pick up. The wings were crispy and delicious. They were hot and were the perfect heat factor. The blue cheese is homemade and has a garlic taste to it. Wings were packaged inside a pizza box and stayed fresh, not soggy. The wings I would give 4 stars. The pizza could definitely use more cheese. If you like your pizza to have cheese, definitely order it with extra cheese. They cut it into smaller pieces as well, not into slices. You eat more pieces, but in the end you have more leftover due to thinking you ate more. The crust was barely there - the pizza taking up almost the whole pie, making you get your money's worth of pizza. If you love crust though, you barely have any. The food is excellent. The have an extensive vegan menu with numerous pizzas, subs, pierogies, wings, and specials like Reubens for St. Patrick's Day. They even have vegan desserts like chocolate peanut butter pretzel pie - a whole pie. The ice cream shop in the space also has vegan options. The vegans of WNY have been raving about the chicken finger sub. It's tofu, so while I understand how it could be good, I didn't understand how it was drive 45 minutes each way good. Well it is. Hubs isn't even vegan and he said it was the best vegan item in WNY, with the wings from Root & Bloom being a close second. The tofu is fried and crispy and the sandwich really is awesome. I got the side of house-made vegan bleu cheese because everyone said it was a must. Excellent advice. We got the pickle pizza and it delicious. I love that there was lots of green dill sprinkled over the top. A really nice touch. They are still open during the shut down and apparently the waits have gotten quite long. We went after businesses shut down but before restaurants had to close their dining rooms. At that time, I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the eating area. It was empty, the place was dead, though there was decent take out traffic. The dining room is shared with the ice cream shop and they were doing NO business, but still, no one was wiping down tables. But it has been 6 weeks and I haven't heard of any vegans getting Covid-19 there, so I guess it is safe. This is a very convenient location for me as I drive by frequently. I ordered a heart-shaped Pizza for the day before Valentine's Day. They were happy to do it even though it wasn't on Valentine's Day itself. The pizza was very good. I got it with pepperoni mushrooms and black olives. Who would have guessed that one of the most progressive pizza joints in all of WNY would pop up in NT? Since learning that Wurlitzer Pizza establishes a vegan menu, I had to try them out. It's been three visits so far, and the food has been excellent. We started with a standard veggie pizza, with vegan cheese. It was right on. The "wings" are may wah brand. Crispy on the outside, moist inside, and coated in any number of vegan sauces. I've also tried the chicken finger sub. Tasty, but perhaps a bit too much crunch and not enough tenderness. But I'll get it again. If you are adventuresome, get the dill pickle pizza, available in vegan and traditional varieties. Can't decide if I'll get it again, but I'm glad I tried it at least once! As soon as warmer weather hits, I'll be taking advantage be of the Jamie's vegan ice cream, located within the same venue. read more

Awful customer service. They messed up, had me waiting almost an hour in their restaurant, and offered nothing, not 10% off, not even a sorry. The employees are terrible. Ordered pizza and wings here on my last trip back to WNY. Food was very average. Not bad, but nothing spectacular either. For pizza we got sausage, sweet peppers, and onions. The pizza was good, just not overly impressive. For wings, we ordered mild, all of us normally prefer medium, but that was not an option. The wings again were not bad, just didn't stand out to me. The pizza and wings are better than what I'm used to, now living outside of WNY. It is winter, in WNY... and they left the food on an OUTSIDE PORCH! But guess how I found out? The delivery person called the store, so that the store could call me. The delivery person did not knock on the door. The delivery person did not call me. They called the store. So when I went out to get the food, I call back to the store to express my concerns, and ask that a manager call me back to rectify the situation. NO ONE CALLED!!! The next day, we take the kids to a movie and my husband suggests WP and it reminds me that no one called back. So I tell him about what happened and we call back to speak to a manager. We are long-time Jamie's Ice Cream fans, which is in the same building as Wurlitzer Pizza. We've occasionally purchased food from Wurlitzer too while at Jamie's, and have always been pleased. The pizza is tasty and generously topped. But as of late, what caught our eye about Wurlitzer is the extensive vegan menu! Wurlitzer has a variety of vegan items like pizzas, subs, tacos, and appetizers, all prepared top-to-bottom with vegan ingredients. Some ingredients are well-known vegan brands, like Dayia, Beyond, Just, etc. But some are homemade in-house! They make their own tofu Buffalo chicken, tofu bacon, banana pepper dip filling, sour cream, blue cheese, soups, and other homemade items that are all vegan! We recently splurged on vegan dinner for the fam', and went with the vegan buffalo chicken sub, vegan chicken parm sub, vegan taco, and a vegan burger, plus two sides of fries (the fries are fried separately from any meat products). Our kids went half'sies on the subs, and really enjoyed them. The Buffalo chicken sub could have used more veggie toppings, a bit lacking. But the vegan chicken itself was pretty good! It was fried with a crispy breading and good Buffalo sauce flavor. The chicken parm sub was the same crisp chicken, with melty vegan cheese and a tasty sauce. My husband was pleased with his vegan taco, which was filled with veggies, vegan cheese, and vegan beef crumble, plus their homemade vegan sour cream. It was a decent sized taco, could have been stuffed a bit more with the veggies as well. I am off carbs lately, and had the vegan burger sans bun. With that, they did a really great job of loading up the container with lots of veggies. I got a side salad to turn my burger into a burger salad, and almost didn't need it, they gave me such a nice pile of veggie toppings. The vegan burger was delicious, grilled just right! The regular and curly fries were crisp and a decent portion for sharing, too. Our mostly meat-free family is LOVING all of the various vegan options popping up around our beloved 716-area, and will surely be back to Wurlitzer to try more of their vegan menu. I've been wanting to try this place for a while since it's so close to my job and everyone is raving about their vegan options but hadn't found a good time until I saw they had heart shaped pizzas for Valentine's Day! I decided to treat myself to a vegan buffalo chicken pizza and I'm so glad I did because it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had! They don't list the ingredients that make up the pizza on the vegan menu (which I wish they did) but I'm pretty sure this is a vegan blu cheese base with your choice of hot, medium or mild "chicken" and lots of cheese! The pizza is always fresh with the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. So tasty! I had last ordered the roast beef sandwich and they didn't have horseradish. A few months back, Wurlitzer Pizza kept showing up on my Instagram feed. All my vegan and plant-based buddies raved about this hidden gem. Living over a half hour away in Depew, I had never heard of this place. Yet my feed was filled with decadent pizzas, mouth-watering subs, and lots of wings. It had been one of those places I kept plan on going to, but never had the time too. Today the stars aligned with my work schedule, so the fam and I finally made a trip. It was worth the wait!! This is during COVID-19, so we placed our order over the phone. The woman was patient with our long order, and took her time to make sure I had everything right. We told her the time we expected to be there, and she delayed the order so it would be hot and ready when we arrived. We were a few minutes early, and called when we arrived. Outdoor seating is currently allowed, so my family and I chose a bench and the nice worker brought it out to us. We forgot to pay over the phone, so the woman took our card and brought it back. She gave us any utensils we needed, and lots of napkins. The food was hot and you could tell it had not been sitting around. Our first order contained a vegan BLT wrap (light mayo; which they actually did), a vegan buffalo chicken finger sub and a small fry, and a smoky BBQ vegan chicken finger sub with fried cauliflower. We had requests for certain veggies and condiments to be included/not, and everything was right. The order was about $40, which was reasonable for the amount and quality. Both the bacon and chicken fingers are homemade, and they are some of the best in WNY (as other reviewers have mentioned). Seriously, how are the tenders made from tofu?! The bacon was not crisp, but had a great meaty flavor, and was slightly tender. My parents subs were well sauced and loaded with flavor. With a growing menu and so many options, we may have to make a trip more often. This is the place WNY vegans have been waiting for. read more

I ordered the vegan BLT, vegan chicken finger sub, vegan potato skins, and vegan wings. The "bacon" on the BLT was not quite what I was expecting and the only thing I would not order again. Everything else was delicious! The chicken finger sub was nice and crispy and saucy. I can't believe how they nailed the taste and texture of chicken wings perfectly. My only other negative would be the price for 3 wings was a bit steep for me. But the flavor really delivered. I am so happy to have found this vegan gem. I order a pizza and was told 45min to an hour for delivery then they said 30 minutes more well we waited 2 1/2 hours before calling . I was told should be there any minute, well it never showed up and then nobody would answer the phone. By this time it was to late to order elsewhere. From the outside the place doesn't look like much, but the pizza is so delicious. The menu had lots of good things on it and quite a few different pizza to choose from. I wasn't sure on the size so we went with the large. We got the cheeseburger pizza and the buffalo chicken. They were both delicious I couldn't decide which one I liked better. I like how they cut the round pizza in squares makes them unique. The dough was crispy and done to perfection. I couldn't stop eating it because each bite was great! I am excited to try other things off the menu and more choices of pizza. Definitely worth a try don't pass this place up! read more
