This place came highly recommend we decided to have dinner here. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We made reservations through Yelp and front desk were a bit confused when we checked in. There was a main menu and a separate one for the Mumbai street eats. It took us awhile to decide what to order since we were not familiar with the name of the dishes so had to read the descriptions. We ordered the Veg platter (full) that had 3 pieces of each of the items ( fried potatoes/cheese , seasoned paneer, another seasoned paneer). The Chanajor Garam Tikki (fried potatoes/cheese) had a really mushy texture that was heavily seasoned. We could not taste the potatoes or cheese. Would recommend to eat this with the fresh onions and cabbage to give it a different texture. The sliced panners had no flavor even with it being topped with sauces. For the main we ordered Tadka Palak Paneer, which was good but pretty basic. Nothing stood out about it. The Butter chicken was also okay. We've had better elsewhere. The chicken pieces were also huge in here where you have to cut them into bite size pieces. The Dum Gosht Biryani was rhe best out of them. Mutton meat was nice and soft and rice was cooked and seasoned nicely. The bread basket had 3 types of bread. The best one was the Lachha Paratha. The garlic naan was thin and dried and the peshawari was hard and crispy. Service was okay. Felt like they were newer. With the location and decor, we were looking forward to having an elevated Indian dinner, but we didn't get that with the food or service unfortunately.

I really wanted to love this place since Indian food is a favorite of mine. The location is super convenient and the restaurant itself is lovely and comfortable, and I appreciated that they kept the temperature moderate vs freezing. Unfortunately I was somewhat underwhelmed by my dish (chicken tikka masala). The flavor was decent, but didn't blow me away, and the consistency of the sauce was more lumpy than smooth like I have typically had it. It also doesn't include rice or anything as a side, which is fine if the price weren't what it was, or if the food was incredible, but the pricing is very high, considering this. The service was also just okay. Our server was nice enough and decently attentive, but somewhat stone faced until the end when we were paying. The food was also pretty slow to come out. They don't show you a itemized receipt of your items, just have you tap your card for the total, so after I got home I realized I think they may have double charged me for my soda (or charged for a refill, but if so they did not mention that). I feel like Fresno has better options at lower prices with better service, so I probably wouldn't choose to go back unless someone else was making the dinner plans.

Went with a lot of expectation.. food was so so. Background music more noise than music. We asked for spicy and all dishes were mild. Most important, waiters need to be more relaxed and friendly. Our waitress seemed pretty stuck up and very blatant about pointing out about the tip when the time came to pay. Our waitress seemed to have the holier than thou attitude, and shows clearly that she is not trained in basic customer service nor used to fine dining manners. The manager and bus boys were friendlier and nicer. We have been to restaurants like 71Above that are truly special.. but waitresses definitely need training on being professionally friendly. Definitely not the fine dining type. Very slow service. The same waitress even turned off the light in the restroom when I was using it, leaving me in pitch darkness, while she exited.

The Yellow Chilli is a newer restaurant to this space (previously Pane, then Blast & Brew). It is beautiful decorated and very clean. Great service from the bartender and servers. I recommend the garlic naan bread and the butter chicken. Portions aren't large but packed with flavor. Interested to try their buffet offered in Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for lunch.

We arrived on a Thursday night and no need for a reservation as there are plenty of room in the restaurant. One thing I loved is that it's very quiet in there because of the high ceilings so it's great for people who are hard of hearing to enjoy our conversations. One thing was is that it's very dark at the tables so reading the menu was a little hard because the font was quite small. Even for my young eyes. We had ordered for mango lassi which were not as sweet but still delicious. For our dinner, we ordered Butter chicken, Puran Singh da Tariwaia Murgh and Baghare, Baingan and two kinds of rice and garlic naan. But somehow an order of shaam savera, paneer takatak was mistakenly added to our order so when the food came, it was quite a lot for four people. But they were kind enough to let us have the food anyways to try and took it off our bill. So glad we got to try these two extra items which all of it was excellent and will definitely come back again. The staff here was very friendly and attentive so I can't wait to come back. All were delicious!!

This place was good! Came here with my partner and we decided to try it out. Easy to get a table even on a weekend night which made me a little nervous. Place was clean and service was great! Food was super flavorful and the menu had so many choices to choose from. Prices are higher but was expected. We'll definitely come back here and try some other items out!

My wife and I came here for lunch and found the restaurant to be slower than expected, but they also recently opened so I imagine that will change in time. We were promptly greeted by a smiling face at the front and were led to a table for two. They are in an old Piazza Del Pane building at Palm and Herndon and the ceilings are about 30 feet tall, which creates a bit of an echo but they have done a nice job with the furniture, lighting, etc. You can tell that the dining room is still you work in progress; they still don't even have their liquor license yet. Despite all of this, we found the food to be rather good. Not every item was our favorite, to be fair. For example the world famous khichdi was not to our liking. I'm sure others would love it but we will visit another menu option when we come back. My wife ordered the non-vegetarian maharaja platter which had a broad assortment of delicious things. I don't know the name of it, but it came with a small piece of fried fish that was really delightful. The rice with cumin was aromatic and tasty, the daal was well spiced and overall the presentation was great. I ordered a plate of butter chicken and found it to be delicious. I asked for them to make it a bit spicier than usual, and it came out a low medium. Perhaps in the future I will have to be more emphatic about spicy levels, but found the combination of flavors to be great overall. We would recommend that anybody who enjoys Indian food come to the yellow chili. I'm not sure about the international accords, or anything like that, but they serve up a nice plate of food. Their prices are a bit higher than some other restaurants, so don't be surprised by that. If you're looking for a better value the maharaja platter will probably serve you well. It was $35 for a fairly generous spread of food, a chaat, a dessert, and a drink.

Came here for lunch and wow, this place gave us such a beautiful meal from start to finish. First of all, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. It is incredibly clean, well lit, and just feels warm and welcoming the second you sit down. The wood tones, textures, and patterns work beautifully together, and even the staff uniforms are sharp and polished. The whole restaurant feels cared for. We started with two mocktails, the Strawberry Lassi and the Mango Mojito. The Strawberry Lassi was served perfectly chilled. The strawberry flavor tasted fresh and bright, and the yogurt was tart, creamy, and refreshing without tasting artificial or overly sweet. The Mango Mojito was absolutely addictive. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing. You get the sweetness of mango, the freshness of mint, and a crisp little brightness from the green apple that makes you want to gulp the whole thing down. The first food to hit the table was the Amritsari Machhi, and this dish alone told me the kitchen knew what it was doing. The fish was flaky, moist, and slightly sweet the way good fish naturally is. It gave in with the slightest pressure. The crust was crisp and beautifully textured without overwhelming the fish itself. The seasoning was balanced and thoughtful, and it arrived steaming hot which made the texture even better. The sauces with it were divine. The green chutney was tangy, bright, and lightly spicy with great salt balance. The tamarind sauce was savory, sweet, and completely addictive. I also have to mention the onion garnish because this surprised me. I normally don't reach for raw onion, but paired with the yogurt, green chutney, lemon juice, and fish it was honestly delicious. Crisp, refreshing, and it elevated the whole bite. Next came the tandoor chicken, including both the green and orange preparations on the platter. The green chicken was incredibly moist and savory, clearly thigh meat, and so well salted that every bite made you want another. The herb coating was full of flavor, and you could really taste the clay oven at work. There was a slight earthy warmth and smokiness that gave the chicken depth. The orange chicken was also excellent. Beautifully smoked from the tandoor, warmly spiced, and comforting in a way that honestly felt like getting a hug from somebody's grandmother. The chicken was moist, supple, properly hot, and the spice level was balanced without being overwhelming. My husband also ordered the mango pickle, and that ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the meal for me. Intensely salty, sour, fermented, and mouthwatering with just a little sweetness left in the mango flesh. It completely woke up the palate and paired beautifully with the smoky tandoori chicken. Then came the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was fantastic. The dough was chewy and soft with that lightly crisp, blistered tandoor texture on top. The melted butter added richness without making it greasy, and the herbs baked into it added freshness and depth. The Butter Chicken was wonderfully done. The sauce leaned tomato-forward, which kept it bright instead of overly heavy. The texture was dense, smooth, and fully emulsified with no breaking in the sauce. There was a thin layer of flavorful fat pulling at the edges that carried the spices beautifully. The chicken was tender and satisfying, and the dish stayed warm in the ceramic bowl. Paired with the naan, it was deeply comforting. Before dessert, I had the lemon with the pink salt they brought out. As someone from Sinaloa, Mexico, lemon and salt after a meal felt familiar and personal. The salt tasted sulfuric at first, but once it hit the lemon it became intensely salty, fragrant, and surprisingly satisfying. It reset my palate perfectly before dessert. Dessert was the Gulab e Gulkand, and this was the moment that made the whole meal unforgettable. Warm, soft, and bouncy dough soaked all the way through in golden syrup scented with rose and topped with pistachio. When we cut into it, steam escaped and the inside revealed a warm spiced filling of rose petals. My husband's eyes welled up because it reminded him of sweets his grandmother used to make. It was one of those quiet moments where food does more than just taste good, it brings someone home for a second. The dessert was comforting, fragrant, and fulfilling without being overly sweet, which made it a perfect ending to lunch. Overall, this meal felt thoughtful from beginning to end. Beautiful restaurant, excellent temperature control, balanced seasoning, wonderful textures, and dishes that clearly had real care behind them. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back.

12/23/25 Brand new!! I called and they do to-go orders. The worker was very kind. They are different from the usual Indian restaurant. You could definitely they are new & learning. I was checking about breads to order and she had to check back a couple tunes with the chef? I think. I ended up ordering a Paratha &, they do not have samosas. I asked for something similar and the worker recommended the Chanajor Garam Tikki and I ordered that. Called shortly later and the worker was kind and said my order was ready. Arrived! Greeted by nice worker. Paid for order and was pretty shocked when she gave me the price of $27.07. Pricey!! Especially when I didn't even get a mein dish. Just a bread & appetizer. Hope it's good. She also had receipt issues at checkout. Asked if she could email it to me instead. I said yes, but then she brought a receipt. Guess she got it working. She had called and told me it was ready too and it looks like it wasn't. She asked me to sit down and wait. Called me up a little later. Restaurant is nice. Large bar upon walking in and lots of seating beyond it. Lunchtime!! Lachha Paratha 1/2 was tasty & good! Chanajor Garam Tikki is Really Good! Just like a samosa! Tasty GREAT sauces to go with it. Not sure it's worth the high price though. Mother felt the same! Good service & good Lachha Paratha & Chanajor Garam Tikki. High prices! Hope they get better in working it out to make it Better! Good luck!!

Came in with high expectations and left feeling fairly neutral. Yellow Chili Fresno delivered a mixed dining experience overall. We ordered the Adraki Dhaniya Paneer, Kachori Chaat, Kulcha, and Paneer Pulao. While the flavors were decent and the food was well-presented, a few dishes lacked the depth and balance I was hoping for, especially given the reputation of the restaurant. There was no spice and no Indian flavor, you can tell it was made for a different palette. Service was diligent and attentive, but at times it crossed into being a bit pushy, which disrupted the flow of the meal and made the experience feel rushed rather than relaxed. Not a bad meal by any means, but not one that stood out either. There's potential here, but for now it lands squarely in the middle, it wasn't quite worth trying if you're curious, just don't go in expecting to be wowed. Ambiance was what you would expect a newer restaurant to be such as ambient lighting and lively atmosphere.

Our server Jyoti was nice and she recommended dishes. Food was 4.5/5. We went there for lunch and it was slower than expected. I know they've recently opened up but kitchen can be little faster especially if you only have 3-4 tables to serve. The place was very nice in terms of decor. Overall, I'd give this place 8.5/10 for food, ambiance and service.

    Amazing ambiance!

Beautiful decor inside 9.5/10; high ceilings, great tableware. Service was good 8/10, seated right away. Potato & Cheese appetizer 7/10 was pretty good, although about 2 of them were undercooked and mushy. Chicken Biryani was solid 7.5/10; lacked a little flavor. Chicken Tikka Masala also solid 8/10; although I feel like it fell short from a tikka masala dish, I think their butter chicken might be more creamy & tastier than the tikka masala dish. The masala chicken was 10/10, incredible taste, it was just the sauce I felt was lacking that tikka masala taste you expect. Frozen Margarita was 9/10.
