My wife and I were in town on business for the day and had a few hours to spare between events. We wanted to support a local spot for lunch and decided to give this place a try. Boy, are we glad we did. At first glance, the menu seemed pretty simple with limited options, but sometimes less is more and that was definitely the case here. We started with the banana milk, and it was phenomenal. You could taste the fresh banana in every sip, perfectly blended and not overly sweet. My wife ordered the strawberry milkshake and it was just as impressive; creamy, refreshing, and full of real strawberry flavor. For food, we shared the turkey sandwich, which was out of this world. The flavors were balanced beautifully with fresh veggies and just the right amount of sauce. To top it off, we ordered the waffles with fresh fruit, which were absolute perfection. The waffles came off the grill hot and crisp, paired with vibrant, fresh fruit, and drizzling rich maple syrup onto them was the highlight of the meal. The place itself is small and cozy, with a cabin-style charm that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy simple but incredibly well-made food, and appreciate the little details that set it apart. Can't forget the staff as they made the experience incredible as well with the quick service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm on a road trip up north. This is definitely a hidden gem worth going out of your way for.

Dandy Blend (THE BEST non caffeinated hot drink)

Such a gem of a cafe! The staff is very nice and I love the cozy comforting decor inside. Perfect for lunch or a quick bite during the day. I got a soup, half salad and cheese melt. I was stuffed and took home the bread that came on the side. Also! I tried the Dandy Blend and fell in love. It's the best non caffeinated drink you can order! It comes with sugar but I'm sure you can ask for it to be made without. Very similar taste to a coffee latte but without a crash. Highly recommend to try!!

    Excellent corned beef breakfast sandwich!

If you're anywhere near Coxackie, NY, stop in here! Ambiance is lovely, the food was awesome!

I love the biblical quotes, the art, the unique ambiance, and of course the food! I had their sandwhich with the corned beef hash, roast beef, provolone cheese, and tomato on an onion roll and it hit the spot

This deli/cafe is a very adorable & comfortable environment. Our server was the best and made us feel at home as well as the cooks and cashier. Even the menu is very welcoming and creative We were sat near a furnace in the inner patio and were treated to a Maté tea with homemade local raw honey & an Ole Saint Joe coffee (both were so refreshing and delicious, highly recommend). We then ordered Poached Eggs which came with buttered toast and homemade cranberry jam (never seen such PERFECTLY cooked poached eggs). Also, Homemade Granola which came with fresh fruit & milk. We learned about their location in San Diego as well which is 24/7, maybe we'll be able to visit there too, I look forward to it P.S. they gave us muffins and coffee to go on the house

This is the most wholesome breakfast/lunch spot with delicious food and friendly, attentive service. We ordered coffee, maté, the veggie burger, and the deli rose sandwich with coleslaw. We also split their cherry almond muffin. Everything was scrumptious. We're eager to try the whole menu! The food tasted very fresh and we left feeling nourished and satisfied. It's clear they use quality ingredients and make their food with love. The ambience is also so welcoming and cozy (think log cabins, beehives, the fiddle and mandolin, and sweet tea). I'm really glad the Hudson Valley has a few locations. The staff treats you like family...the yellow deli surely lives up to the spirit of its name

The café is very small, with just four counter seats and four small tables, and it's undeniably cute inside. I was especially excited to see a vegan sandwich on the menu. After we were seated, our drink order was taken. Unfortunately, they didn't have iced coffee, lemon for tea, or any diet soda, so we settled for a regular soda and a black tea. Once our drinks were ordered, we were told we had to get up and order our food at the bar, which felt a little odd after being seated and waited on initially. I ordered the vegan sandwich, and my husband had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The food took a while to arrive. As soon as I saw my sandwich, I knew I'd made the wrong choice. It consisted of sautéed kale, a chickpea patty, vegan cheese that looked and tasted like Velveeta, and a single slice of tomato that cost an extra $2. The sandwich was completely flavorless and honestly disappointing. My husband's biscuits and gravy weren't much better. They were so overloaded with black pepper that his nose ran through the entire meal. It's too bad some of that seasoning didn't make its way onto the vegan sandwich! When we finished, we had to get up once again to pay the bill. Overall, the service felt slow and disorganized, with an awkward mix of table service and counter service. It's a very charming little spot with plenty of potential, but the food and service both need significant improvement to create a better customer experience. Unfortunately, this isn't a place we'd be eager to return to.
