Taylor and the Theater 10 crew were amazing to work with! I was happy to find out that Taylor is a fellow Chapman alumnus (our film school is excellent and his work is proof of this). From our dealings in the very beginning, up until receiving the final product, everything was professional, timely, and easy! On the day of the wedding, the Theater 10 crew worked diligently to record the best memories of the entire event, including the candid moments that could easily be overlooked by any regular wedding videographer. Another thing to mention is that they worked very well with our other vendors (taking cues from our wedding planner and coordinating shots with our photographer) - something that was so important to ensure the day went smoothly. The finished product is truly a gift - it is not too short, not too long, and perfectly captures all of our raw emotions. SUPERB!!! The whole team was so fun, so nice and talented. You should ALWAYS have a videographer at your wedding. Our friends used them for their wedding and I loved their video, then we used them for ours and the video was incredible. I go back and watch the teaser from time to time and get to relive the whole day. They have a way of really capturing the emotion behind the day. Planning my wedding budget, I was at first a little hesitant about getting video- it was another cost and I wasn't totally sure if it was something I needed.... but Theater 10 came so highly recommended so we were like "well, what the heck"- we really liked their work and the prices were fair, so we did it. And wow- I can't even put words to how amazingly happy I am that we decided to do it, and that we chose Theater 10. The two videographers who came to film were SO kind and wonderful- and when the video came in ( promptly, i might add!) i was so overjoyed and so incredibly grateful. They captured all of the most perfect moments from our wedding and blended them together perfectly- I have been watching it all the time and seriously cry like a baby every time I see it. I cannot say enough how amazing Theater 10 was at capturing the essence of my husband and I's wedding on film. They were so professional in every detail of the process and truly listened to everything we were looking for in a wedding videographer. The quality of the film is unbelievable and paired with the music and editing, truly showed an 8+ hour amazing evening through a 10 minute highlight. I highly recommend providing a hard drive for all of the unedited footage! I was able to literally screenshot images from the videos and print them out for beautiful photos that I liked even better than our actual photographers!! My fiancée (now wife!) narrowed down our videographer choices to the top 3 and showed me samples of their work. Hands down, Theater 10 had the best sample reel. The icing on the cake (wedding puns!) was that Taylor and crew were highly responsive, professional, and fun. They worked with us and the rest of our vendors to capture a mix of candid and posed shots, never felt intrusive, were always in great spirits, and accommodated our request to stay on-site extra hours to get shots of our dance party. We were referred to Theater 10 from a family member and when we first visited the site and watched some of the wedding videos, we were blown away by how amazing they were. We met up with Taylor and he explained how everything works and we picked the perfect package for us. We knew right away that we wanted to book him due to his professionalism and broad knowledge about filming. On the wedding day, Taylor and Frank arrived promptly to start filming me and my husband getting ready at our hotels. Throughout the day, they were great at filming every detail of our wedding. They were very nice and friendly with our bridal party and guests. The day went on later than expected and Taylor was very flexible and nice enough to add on an extra hour at such late notice. After the wedding, we were so excited to see the finished wedding video, but patient as well. We received the video ONLY a week after we got married and the video was amazing! I had Ryan and Victoria covering our wedding and they were just beyond amazing. So professional the entire day and they went above and beyond for my husband (yay!) and I. Such a colossal shame. Back in February we reached out to them and asked about availability for our wedding. We had a full conversation in which we were told they were available and would have two guys to shoot our special day. Some accommodations arrangement was discussed as our wedding was a few hours away and I had a places reserved and immediately let them know as I wanted to make sure they weren't stuck without a place to stay. Having not heard from them for a while, I tried several times to make contact with Taylor and finally got hold of him after a month to be told that they may not have availability as they're now they're booked in another state just before our wedding date. This is less than three month to go until our wedding. Once again I was told they would check with their staff and confirm and... nothing. If it's not possible I understand but why lead people on and then evade them. Or did something better come along? It's highly unprofessional to move onto something else if there is an ongoing discussion about services. I love Theater10's work and the quality (hence the two stars) but I don't understand this treatment. Honestly, I'm quite baffled. As I said, it was such a shame and I really was quite heartbroken as this was a company we were excited about. I really hope that their growth hasn't made them place common decency as lower on the totem pole of services offered. ***** I changed the rating of this review because after seeing this they reached out to offer some services. Loved working with the theater 10 team! They were super seamless as a part of our Wedding, working without us realizing they were there but catching all of our big moments. Everyone was super friendly as well. They were also super helpful for me personally.
