I don't remember how much was the bar and the plates but my total w/ tax for both was nearly $600. The hours are very accessible, which makes it easy to fit workouts into your schedule. Entry is handled through your cell phone, which I actually found to feel very secure and modern. I literally walked around the whole store twice, thinking I missed the baseball tee rack. Products are typically reasonably priced and employees are willing to help if you ask. Parking behind the store is plentiful but there is always street parking in front of the store if available. So why the 4 stars?? Thank you to the staff for being kind enough to do a search and helped me located my backup item I needed. Before you come to this store, know that they have a high turn over rate. Don't expect to see the same person working there, because of this don't expect their employees to know everything. There's always someone new when I go there, and I never see the same person working there twice. This, lack of training means. I don't expect a "Hello" from someone who is probably working their first job out of high school or college, they will eventually develop those skills as time passes. I don't expect them to have the items listed, that's why I go to the store to check. Thieves exist, that is not the newly trained employee's fault if it was listed in their computer system but it is not there when you arrive. Yeah, you can ask them to check for you, but will they do it right? Probably not. I don't expect them to give me the price listed if it was misplaced by a newly trained team member. Maybe at Walgreens yes, but not at a Big 5. Their stuff is not a few bucks corporate is willing to lose. Expect fair customer service, but not extraordinary customer service. Everyone is super chill and nice here, yes it is not your typical store. Its mostly kids working the floor with adults managing the store. I also want to add, theft affects morale.
