What a great experience we had here. We got a spoiler put on my son's car. We made an appointment and when we arrived they got started right away. I had a ride home set up and while they were waiting, someone from the garage came out to check on them to see if they needed help. That right there told me I chose the right place to come as the customer service right out of the gates was amazing! They called shortly after to get approval for an extra step that needed to be done. They also called as soon as the car was ready and I was in and out when picking it up. Great experience from stopping by for a quote to picking up the finished product. As stated, the customer service was amazing from the guys in the garage and the woman who helped me in the office. I would like to preface my review by saying the work this team did on our Mini Cooper was way over the top! Absolutely beautiful! They we Nt the extra mile aNd I am overwhelmed by the results! BUT...... As anyyone knows going to a mechanic or auto body can be nerve racking because there is the potential for so many unforeseen costs. I told my wife be prepared for $150-300$ in costs we can't see now. Last week as we were getting closer to completion I asked if there were any additional charges? The gentleman said "no we quoted 2700 for paint and 250 for the front windshield." Yesterday they called and said the car was ready I asked once again "is there any other additional charges before I come down? The answer again was no the total I is $2950. I arrived Ann's they were a short handed so the owner was at the counter. We were settling up and he proceeded to break down all of the extra work they had to do. He told me he will need an additional $150!!! I told him I don't have a problem paying the extra but the time tell the customer is not now. He proceeded to tell me "you can owe me if you don't have the money" I reached out to shake his hand and I said "I will pay the $150 but this is where we part ways" He got upset and said " I cant believe you wOuld slap me in the face over $150! He also said "I don't need your money! You need it more than I do!" As a customer I am disappointed that the owner! Made my experience feel very cheep! If your looking for amazing results on your vehicle in a zero class environment this is you place. PS. My mirrors Don't work and the deck lid light doesn't turn off. I won't be back. read more

I was referred to There's a difference by a friend when my car was rear ended. When I went through my insurance company, the insurance wanted to patch the rear bumper and didn't offer to replace it. The guys at the shop explained that the difference between repair and replace. The difference was only 10.00! Not only did they replace my bumper, they smother out some other imperfections on the car that had accumulated over the years. They always kept me informed when there was a delay and helped coordinate my rental car. I felt that their service was top notch and compatible to larger offices. read more

My first experience was with my Corvette that required frame work. I was referred to There Is A Difference and Joseph (owner) as being the leading frame work auto body. I had a really good experience with this business, but for some reason Yelp didn't post my 5 star review. I went in and spoke to the manager and received a quote. The quote was fair. They replaced my hood, bumper, installed a headlight (I supplied), and a washer reservoir (I supplied). They even contacted me to let me know that I had a bad ballast when the headlight I supplied didn't light up and replaced the bad ballast without any additional labor charge. I was looking for a shop that could realign my car since it had been in an accident before I purchased it. I brought it to these guys which could have been my first mistake. In auto body repair these guys are pretty decent but in mechanical ability please look elsewhere. We started off with them pulling the frame to straighten it out costing about 255 which includes an alignment afterwards. After about two days I got my car back but I noticed it was shaking while it was idling. It seems that while pulling the car they had busted the motor mounts. Well I brought it back to the shop after purchasing the parts myself and had them repair it. During the course of about a week they put the mount on but then proceeded to tell me that I needed a new cross member (sub-frame or lower engine support). I saw that it was bent but could not verify if they did it or it happened during the accident before I got the car. 350 later plus labor and another 50 for a motor mount it was done. I picked it up a week later while they were closing on a rainy Friday and tried to drive it home. I almost got home when my axle popped out causing me to go no where. I got it towed back to the shop about an hour later, thankfully the owner helped in locating a tow for me otherwise I would have been stuck. So the following Monday I picked up my car again. Seemed everything was fine except for a few days later I noticed a large leak coming from where the axle meets the transmission. They had forgot to put the seal back in before putting the axle in, ugh! So now I am stuck looking for a shop to do the repair for me and since they are closed on Saturday and Sunday, I probably wont be bringing it back to them and will pursue other legal matters. My bottom line here is that for any auto body repair, paint, dent removal, go ahead and try these guys. Just do not expect them to do an engine swap or anything mechanically related. read more
