I am extremely upset to be writing this review after trusting Iesha with our dog for almost a year. We truly wanted this to work, which makes this experience even more frustrating. After our dog's most recent groom, the haircut was noticeably choppy and longer than we specifically requested. My husband had to leave for an emergency during the appointment, so at first we gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she may have felt rushed. We tried to approach the situation with understanding. When I expressed that we weren't happy with the cut, instead of handling the feedback professionally, she became immediately defensive. She insisted she was not rushed and that she had done it "exactly the same as always." Rather than listening, asking clarifying questions, or offering to fix the areas we were unhappy with, she argued. She even sent photos as "proof," as if the goal was to win an argument instead of make a paying, long-term client feel heard. There was zero accountability and no effort to make things right. Any professional providing a service should be able to handle feedback, especially from clients who have supported them for nearly a year. What makes this so much worse is that it has now been almost a month, and despite me reaching out multiple times to schedule, she has completely ghosted us. That level of unprofessionalism is shocking. In the past, she even offered us a discount due to our financial hardship and said it was okay not to tip, which we were very appreciative of, but that does not excuse this behavior. We were not asking for anything unreasonable. We simply wanted the haircut corrected or a constructive conversation about how to avoid this in the future. Instead, we were met with defensiveness, aggression, and then silence. EDIT: Finishing your last response to me by saying "If you feel he really isn't groomed to your liking, I highly recommend ......" and then ghosting me for a month is very passive-aggressive and unprofessional. read more

Iesha was prompt and clearly good with little dogs. Mine can be a bit skittish but she had him happily groomed and ready to go in just an hour. Mobile grooming is a bit luxurious for us but our regular groomer had no openings for quite some time, so Iesha's prompt help saved our boy from curtains of hair over his eyes and a face that just attracts unsavory aromas. We saw the mobile van while on a walk and thought what better way to get the dogs groomed and support a very local business. lesha responded before 24hrs and was able to schedule us way before our other appointment. Our dogs were way over due. We have 2 Brussels Griffons, one senior. Lesha communicated via text the day of confirming the appointment and again while on her way. She asked questions regarding desired cut, any issues with dogs/behavior etc and got to work. I recently rescued a mangy Aussie-mix named Jaxson who is very timid and fearful of just about everything. Iesha took extra time to gain his trust before she started grooming him. Next I made an appointment for my 3-year-old terrier Sparky. Let me just say, Sparky is NOT an easy dog when it comes to meeting new people, let alone being handled by anyone. He pretty much hates ALL strangers, and deems everyone a threat. When I say he's a wild child, I am not exaggerating. When I brought Sparky out to the grooming van, I was pretty anxious but Iesha assured me that Sparky was in good hands. Again, Iesha took the time necessary to gain Sparkys trust. Enough so that he let her do a full haircut, bath and he even let her file his nails! When she was done Iesha reported that Sparky did great and didn't even need to be muzzled, which I still find hard to believe. It was a complete testament to just how skilled Iesha really is. Our regular groomer is super busy given COVID restrictions and we'd wanted in the past to try a mobile groomer so we only looked at mobile outfits. Iesha is terrific. Her communication was fast and warm and super helpful. She obviously adores dogs which is doesn't hurt and she asked a bunch of questions that speak to her experience and skill - she takes the work seriously and she's knowledgeable about different breeds and challenges. She gave our midsized shiatsu mutt the best grooming he has received in his 7 years of life and he's not easy to cut because his fur gets really matted. She was equally skilled with our other 2 pups and all 3 seemed to take to her and they weren't anxious. It is very convenient to have someone come to your home and provide this service. Leshia is an amazing groomer and is so good with dogs. I have a senior shih tzu who is almost blind. Being new to the Bay area I have had a hard time finding a groomer, I took her to 1 place and they didn't touch her face. Never go back to a shop again! Thought we try mobile grooming since Charlie's been diagnosed with knee problems and wanted to make sure he would be more cared for. Not only was it stress free for us to not have to go back and forth but the look on Charlie's face when Iesha opened the door and we were there to greet him in front of our house was priceless! We've taken Charlie to a few expensive groomers thinking service would be better but most of them just had attitudes as if we were lucky to have them groom our pup. Iesha really came through for me and my girl, Franny! She took Franny as a client at the end of her day on a Friday. After a walk at Briones Reservoir 2 days prior, I found 15 ticks on my girl. Her hair was over 3" long and she had to be trimmed to do a thorough 'tick check'. Once trimmed, I planned to do the search.
