Lots of mixed reviews here. I think it's truly dependent on who you get for service. The owners husband is FANTASTIC at a pedicure and another woman who wears a lab coat typically does an amazing job on both pedicures and manicures. If you get anyone else, I'd say keep it simple. Both of us were bleeding from our cuticles being cut in a hurry. I asked for a specific design I saw on Pinterest but before I noticed, my nails weren't done the right way. I go here to get my pedicure done because I suffer with ingrown toenails since I was a kid. The lady's that take care of my feet there are AMAZING. They always take there time and my ingrown always stops bothering me for about a month and a half. I definitely recommend! Ask for the lady with the white coat! This establishment is a huge red flag! The pedicure tubs were filthy. The files and tools are previously used, unsanitized. The end result of my nails looks like I could have achieved better with my eyes closed. My price for Manicure Gel-only and regular polish pedicure came to $75. For my friends that got the acrylic were charged $95. After attempting to reason with the price, the tech began arguing with me. Even though the total price did not match the price board.. I shouldn't have wasted my money after reading these reviews, but it was the only place open and I had an event the next morning. They get one star for being open late (and because you can't give zero). I got a gel manicure. I was happy with my nails for 48 hours, but only 3 days in, I noticed they started looking dull. By day 4, two were already peeling off. I've gotten many shellac/gel manicures and never have I had nails start to chip and peel off so soon. I paid $35 + gave a generous $10 tip and I'm mad at myself for wasting my money and time. You live and you learn! Heed the warnings in these reviews...don't go. read more

This would have been a 1 star review but I had excellent service. As sweet as the ladies were here I have to give this place a bad review due to sanitation. I didn't realise it until after I had already completed my mani/pedi but they do not properly sanitize their equipment. I witnessed them simply washing the tools with soap and water and dipping them into the blue liquid. Done. Ready to be used for the next person! If I had noticed this before my mani/pedi I absolutely wouldn't have stayed. "By law under the NSW Health and Safety Guidelines for nail technicians under the Skin Penetration Act, it is illegal for them to cut cuticles unless the implements have been sterilised in an autoclave" Not once did I see anyone open up one of those blue/clear bags of tools. At first, pulling up to this place I wasn't so sure because the building looked kind of rundown. The two girls inside were SO NICE. This is the best pedicure I've had in a while. They razor the calluses which is really hard to find. She took her time and made sure to completely get all my dead skin off and work my ingrown toenails (which were horrible). It seems like there are only two or three women working here so an appointment might be best. I will update on my manicure once it's done. UPDATE. just finished my gel color changing manicure. I came here this week to get a pedicure and left before finishing because I was so unimpressed. To start the customer service was meh - I could tell that no one wanted to take a walk in, even though the place was dead so I was already getting awkward vibes. Once seated, a female nail tech started removing my old gel polish with cuticle clippers & then proceeded to "trim" my nails with them, giving all my toes jagged edges, right down to the skin. I had to ask her to cut my cuticles and she laughed and said "oh you want that" ? It was clear she had no idea what she was doing. I left before she could do anything further - probably for the best. I paid $44 dollars for a gel polish removal & literal destruction of my nail beds, I do NOT recommend!! read more

I got a full set a week ago, paid $55 for a short full set. I happened to break 2 of them recently so I went back to them & the lady was very rude. She tells me they don't have my color I just had a week ago after not even helping me find it. I forgot the number but I remembered the name. I asked if the gel colors that she gave me were the only brand and she lied and said yes & then when I looked at the gel wall I obviously saw they carried 2 brands so I asked to see those and she gave them to me and then started talking in another language with her worker until I told them to speak English around me please. Im so disappointed in how I was treated. The employees here seem to hate their job and a result is there poor customer service. My first experience was amazing and the price was great so I came back. My second experience was pushing it.... I go to thi nails and get a pretty pink on my nails. One nail breaks I go back and identify the same color. The nail tech that greeted me gives her coworker the wrong color. I look at my nails and tell her that's not the right color she then gets the right color but paints over the wrong color. I politely asked her not to do that and remove the color first. She gets extremely pissed from her facial expressions then she proceeds to speak in a language I cannot understand and I let her know in that moment that if she was me she would want the same then she looks at me and says I'm not talking to you I'm talking to my coworker in a defensive tone very rude. read more

I have been here 3 times since new owners took over and haven't had one issue with them. They are always friendly and kind with me. The only issue I have had is crooked polish and filing. I have had both gel mani-pedi and spa mani-pedi. Not sure if others are catching someone on a bad day but they did mention some people haven't been nice with the mask mandate. read more

I normally pay 22-25 dollars for my nails at Crystal nails on military hwy and they do just as good as nails by thi. I just stop here because they open earlier. Walking into the salon, you are greeted by two ladies who are so incredibly friendly! They ask you what service you need and if they are busy they will tell you how long you need to wait to be served. Wait for them!! You will not be disappointed!! I loved my pedicure and my ingrown toenails are clipped which was amazing! I had my dead skin shaved off and my feet are so soft. My acrylic set is perfect and I had gel polish on top because paint will wear off so fast for me. I also had my eyebrows waxed and she did such a great job. Overall, the friendliness of the employees is unmatched. Once you get started, you will feel right at home. And the prices are cheaper than anywhere else around Norfolk/VA beach. read more

I have been to this salon once before on the recommendation of a friend and I had a great visit but I didn't write a review before because I wasn't sure if it was "first timer's luck". My daughter and I went today for spa pedicures. They did a great job on both of us! The pedicure was very relaxing, the polish job was beautiful and the customer service was wonderful. They were sweet, efficient and professional. I get ingrown toenails and often nail techs are timid when it comes to really getting in there. These ladies were very thorough! I do recommend making an appointment. There are only three women working in the day time during the week. I don't know if there are more at night, or on the weekends. We waited for about 20 minutes before sitting in the spa chair but only about 5 additional minutes in the chair before they started on us. However, there was about an hour wait for incoming customers by the time we left. read more

I went in on a Sunday, and it was not too crowded although the two ladies working there were both tending to the customers that were already there. One of the ladies came to ask what I wanted done and to pick out colors while I waited. I wanted to get a gel pedicure done, possibly with some design. I was politely told what they could do and could not do, so I compromised on the design part. I wish I could have gotten a more detailed design done, but the service was great and I liked that the lady told me beforehand what was feasible and made sure I was okay with the price. Absolutely WORST Experience of MY LIFE!! First Time Going to this Nail Salon and Will NEVER go back! The Nail Techs demeanor and attitude was HORRIBLE. I came in for Fill-in for Powder and She put regular acrylic over the nails. I told her several times I did not Want it or like it and she continued to do the nails she wanted. When she completed I told her I did not like and wanted different. Willing to pay for any service necessary to change and she refused. After she was done , I asked another tech to fix. He said yes and tooke me to his chair. As he turned his drill on she came out the back Hollering! She exclaimed my nails were "too ugly" to fix and she couldn't fix them. She told him not to do my nails and he started on another customer. I sat and waited for a young lady and her daughter manicures and pedicures to be completed. Even though thry came after me , I still waited. Once I got back in the chair for her to fix my nails . The same little girl who just got her nails done , went and Told her Mom I asked her "WTF was she looking at!". I have a four year old and newborn at home, I WOULD NEVER! At this point I didn't care about the nails , I was so hurt. The little girls Mom referred to me as a bad example, broke, ghetto, ratchet and host of other things. Called someon and asked them to pick up her child so she could "F Me Up" , just very uncall for. The nail tech told me If I didn't, "Shut my Mouth" she wouldn't fix my nails. At this point I want a refund! I agreed upon Refund , she did as well then refused again after handinf me receipt. She refused to refun my apple pay and I refused for her to touch my hands. Finally, she caved and pulled out cash. As I retrieve my cash and pick up my belongings she tries to snatch the receipt out my hand. Ripping half of the receipt in the process. And yelled for me to NEVER come back! Honey, I HAVE NEVER experienced such unprofessional, disrespectful, disgusting, degrading unladylike behavior in MY LIFE from all parties. Entered the establishment on 7/26 at 1:00pm and asked about services for gel x nails. I was told that they did offer this service and to have a seat. I reiterated the service I was requesting when sitting down and it was confirmed again. Only After having my paint removed and breaking a nail the tech states, "He has run out of gel builder". He then begins communicating with the woman who greeted me in their language. The guy says to me they don't have the gel builder kit and he's sorry. He got up out of his chair and walked off. The woman did not acknowledge my frustration, offer another service, or provide an explanation. The woman sitting in her chair also acknowledged that I was told when entering that they offered the service for gel x nails. I would not refer anyone to this Place! I had such a nice experience getting my toes done at this salon for the first time. The ladies working were both so friendly and my pedicure was great! The price was very reasonable. The salon isn't not overly fancy but it's clean and I will take great customer service over a fancier salon any day of the week. Two ladies. Flori and a l something. The other lady was really nice to me however my nails look a mess. I got a full set. 8 of my 10 nails were crooked. No it's not my fingers lol. I got French.1. She used a design brush vs a regular one so my shape is funny looking. 2 she didn't wait for the white polish to dry before she placed the clear coat so it's smeared. 3. It's very obvious that she only did one white coat because my nails look pale. 4. The other lady was really rude to my friend. She asked for square shaped nails and received oval she told her after the first nail that she wanted square the woman said square got it and then proceeded to do more Oval. Finally she was in the middle of painting her nails and stopped mid stroke to do someone else's nails causing us to wait another 30 mins before we just left. . i am an absolute fan!!!! This was the first time I ever got my nails done, I pulled up and by looking at the outside of the salon i was a little bit nervous, and almost left. but then once i walked inside, and they got started on me right away i loved it, she made me feel super comfortable. and she is very sweet and carrys a conversation on with you which i really like which means there is no awkward silence. Also while i was there a lady walked in and told them that the nail they had just put on had popped off and she showed them. so they apologized and fixed it.
