Like most thai places in the area the menu is combined with laos too. I've tried many dishes just making my way down the menu to try them all. I've liked everything I tried and don't have any complaints about the place. The food comes out fast, the staff are real friendly, and the prices are real low. MUST READ IF YOU ENJOY DUCk!!!! I visited Thida Thai for the first time Sunday. Quaint little place, atmosphere is nice. However, I ordered the duck Pad Thai. I love duck and was excited to see a few duck dishes on the menu. It was the most expensive dish on the menu. The dish looked fantastic when it arrived. It however reeked of old gone bad duck, which was not cleaned well before cooking. My stomach turned. When I informed the waitress of how I feel about the dish in a polite manner. Her response however was disappointing. She informed me that she cannot take the dish off the bill due to the "price of the dish" & I can choose another "rice" dish....I have never experienced this type of customer Service and will not return to Thida Thai ever again although I love Thai! Thanks Alex for taking time to acknowledge me. However, I paid for the duck and then for the Pad Thai and still was not a fan. I guess because the odor of the duck dish was still lingering with me. FAVORITE Thai in Nashville Area. I crave their red and Panang curry! I get chicken and add veggies. Red is also good but the panang has pineapple and cashews mmm. I had been wanting Thai food for a while now, specifically yellow curry. Somehow, my boyfriend has made it this far without having Thai. I don't know how someone who loves food so much hasn't tried it yet, but it is what it is. As of now, he still hasn't had Thai because I suggested that he get pho, as I thought he'd like it. Sorta similar to ramen, which he likes. Unfortunately, he did not care for it. I did try it and there was something off about it. Something in the flavoring of the broth. I wasn't too thrilled with the slices of chicken in the pho either. I don't know. I'm not really into restaurants that try to have different genres of food. Thai, Laotian and Vietnamese all in one? No. We also got pork gyoza. That was pretty okay, but a little too crunchy. We both agreed on this. I did like my curry. It was delicious. I also loved the presentation. Most places I've gone for curry, it comes in a boring bowl. This came in a nice, rectangular bowl. I don't know if it's because I've been watching Food Network on Saturday nights lately, but the presentation was important to me. The tofu was cooked just right as was everything. Props for the curry. Will I come back? Probably not. For what the food was it was overpriced and I was sad at how the pho turned out. I've been looking for a Thai restaurant that served crab fried rice. I recently moved to Murfreesboro from DC and have been on the hunt. I came across Thida Thai when I was up in Smyrna one day. I placed my order on my way up for take out, and since I had my 4mo old son with me in the car and it was raining, they were so kind to bring it out to my car to me! The food was great!! Not too greasy and had a ton of crab in it! And they add two fried shrimp on top which is a nice treat!! I'll drive the 17 min just for crab fried rice any time!!! read more

My sister and I visited on a Saturday around noon. I thought it would be busy but there were only a few customers. We were seated quickly and service was prompt. (Side note: The place also looked clean so that is always a plus!) I got their pho combo along with a side of fried egg rolls. In addition to water, I also ordered an iced thai tea. My sister ordered their pad thai but I didn't taste it. I guess I should have but she says it wasn't the best she's had. As for my food, I will say their egg rolls are bland. Without the plum sauce, they are just crispy shells stuffed with cabbage. Even though their ingredients list cellophane noodles, there was barely any inside. I would not order these again. I'd rather make my own at home. With any pho broth, I always taste it as soon as I get it. I will have to say this thai pho isn't comparable to viet pho even though the taste was unique. There was a sour taste to it as if they've already added lime juice. In this case, it wasn't bad and I actually enjoyed it. I hate to compare this bowl of thai (or maybe lao because I think it is actually ran by lao people) pho to viet pho but their combo pho is totally catered to american taste. The combo consisted of sliced chicken breast, shrimp, and meatball. With viet pho, a combo would normally include raw and cooked beef slices, tendons, tripe, meatballs, etc... I ordered the combo pho without realizing the meats I would get. I don't recall the menu listing out what the combo pho would contain unless I somehow missed it. With all of that said, I would still eat the pho here again. Mainly because the broth wasn't a disappointment even if I'm not a fan of the meats included. I feel strange saying this since I don't like to add lime to my pho typically. Somehow the broth was decent and unique since I don't normally eat it that way. Anyway, just don't expect this to be like viet style pho. We are eating at a thai restaurant after all. Also, the thai tea could've been stronger and a little sweeter. I've had better tasting thai tea elsewhere so this wouldn't be my go to place for thai tea. It did come in a cute tall glass with umbrella though! read more

I never know who my server is because they switch out so often. And the few times I been helped it's after we are done with all of our food and have been waiting like 20 minutes for the check. I got my order to go and ordered the garlic stir-fry and crab Rangoon as an appetizer. I specifically asked that they substitute the white rice with fried rice and I would pay the extra cost. I asked if the fried rice came with the fried egg in it just to make sure and the lady said yes, so I pick my order up and I blame myself partially for not checking it before I left but so when I got home I just had plain white rice. The crab Rangoon was not what I expected as I had never had it before but that's not a reflection on the restaurant just my personal taste but I was disappointed that I didn't get what I asked for and I lived to far to go back...the overall taste of the garlic stir-fry was good. Love the food here, never have gotten a bad meal and the price is great. However, today I ordered online and went to pick it up, and no one in the restaurant know how to access the computer via password to access the online orders. The girl at the front was very frustrated and said that she had to call her boss and had already called, but until they could get into the computer, they couldn't access orders to give the kitchen. Other people had come in to pick up orders, so not sure if they called and maybe did orders by hand, but that was not even offered to me, just that I would have to wait until she got in touch with her boss. The service was great, but the table beside me was awfully rude they were using the waitresses so much to the point that I even got annoyed, and after they were done eating they didn't even tip. I came here around dinner time, and had excellent to go service. My order was prepared quickly, and neatly packaged. The chicken egg rolls were crunchy, tasty and everything you'd want in an egg roll - good ratio of meat to veggies. The sauce on the side was the perfect accompaniment. The portions of my pho broth, veggies and meat were more than enough for one meal (takeout victory!). The only downside: The pho broth was a bit sweeter than I prefer, but nonetheless it was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back to try out other items on the menu. read more

The food is great here but I won't be able to eat the lunch special anymore as there is a $10 minimum on card transactions and I don't use cash. I ordered the $7.95 chicken pad Thai lunch special online and came to pick it up and was told that $10 was a minimum card transaction. Online it said that I couldn't play online because of the minimum. I didn't think that was the case in restaurant because I've came in before and paid the $8.73 with a card. The cashier asked if I wanted to add a soda or egg roll. I picked egg roll and it jumped to $13.07. I then had to wait over ten minutes for the egg roll to cook and my noodles get cold. I know that small businesses pay a fee to use credit cards, but when running a business you will incur some expenses. The egg roll looked a little over-done too. read more

Always delicious. Portions are generous but not outrageous. Service is friendly and quick but they won't rush you. Sushi is awesome. We were there once for lunch and once for dinner. The kids had California rolls, and we shared a Pad Thai. The lunch menu is an abbreviated version but plenty of choices. I chose the green curry and it was perfectly seasoned. This is quickly becoming our go-to restaurant when in the mood for sushi or Thai. read more
