I was in a panic after breaking part of my tire's valve stem. The tire was leaking air and I had a 90 mile drive ahead of me! I found Uptown Tire on my phone and drove there. Geoff was calm and knowledgeable and assured me they could fix the tire stem. They repaired the stem enough to take to the Lexus dealer (as the car was brand new) and also fixed the leak in the tire and had me back on the road in 30 minutes. I brought my car in for a slow leak in the tire that ended up being caused by a nail. When I stopped back to pick it up, Geoff handed me my keys and told me I was all set. I called on a Monday to make an appointment to have a tire on our 2015 RV looked at, it wouldn't hold pressure. Jeff (I believe) told me to come first thing on Tuesday (7:30 AM), they would "fit me in", and "be patient." Within 20 minutes after my arrival David showed, hydraulic jack in hand. He skillfully removed the wheel and took it into the shop to evaluate the tire. Minutes later he reported "good tire, good rim, loose and leaking valve extension." He mounted the repaired wheel, torqued the lugs and replaced the wheel cover. "What do I owe you?". "Nothing", he replied. Uptown just got a life long customer! read more

I drop my car off in the morning before work for minor repairs, inspections, and oil changes and it's available by lunch. They call to keep me updated where it's at in the process. If you are going to wait they have a great waiting room and I have done that once. (I don't need to usually because my work is just down the street). I have full confidence that I'm getting the best deal. Other places I felt like they saw me as dollar signs. Their reputation in the community is impeccable. You can't get that level of fans without treating people like you would family. After they quoted me a price one time they found a way to lower the price while making the repair and passed the savings on to me. I pretty much love them and will be a customer for life. So on my drive back from Lake Placid to Indiana, I got a flat tire on the highway. Thank goodness it was less than a mile away to the exit to Canandaigua and Uptown wasn't too far away. I actually found them on YELP, got directions, and followed my phone all the way there. Got me fixed up in about 30 mins from the time I walked in to when I drove away. Super reasonable prices and such a friendly front desk gentleman. Whoever was working the afternoon of July 24th deserves a gold star! You saved me a huge headache! read more
