I booked ABCE & Champagne party but 3 months prior to my daughter's wedding. Rich sounded like a nice guy but wouldn't send a contract. Everything is done by phon call or text. 2 weeks before the wedding I added a stop & paid for one extra hour. I confirmed details by text. The day of the wedding the limo was 20 minutes late & didn't have the added stop. On too of this, Rich told me it was my fault the limo was late. He actually forgot about the added stop. If you have an event such as a wedding and need a limo service, ABCE Limo is highly recommended. Rich was totally awesome and helped more than we would've ever expected. He was super friendly, respectful and helpful. He made sure that my wife was able to get in and out of the limo bus safely and not get her dress dirty or tangled. He turned out to be the helping hand that we needed but didn't plan for. He even helped in the venue like he was part of the bridal party without being asked. This company is absolutely amazing!! We had a limo service previously booked for the wedding I was in this past weekend. That limo ended up inoperable and the company was jerking the whole wedding party around. One of the groomsmen called to ask if there was anyway that ABCE Limo could get a 30 person limo to us on such short notice. Not only was he able to come within 15 minutes of that call, he also saved the bride and groom an even bigger headache than they already had going on, and we made it to the ceremony right on time. I will never recommend this company to anyone I know. We used them back in August of 2015 for my Sister's Bachlorette Party. I sent the following Message to the company & while I stated a response was not needed its now 6 months later & have not heard a word from them in regards to the way that I was treated. Not to mention leaving 14 girls stranded in Chicago to find there own way home after thinking they had a Designated Driver for the night. Copy of email: Dear Manager, I wanted to tell you about my recent experience with your company. I will not recommend you service to anyone. I had booked you limo service back in June 2015 for my sister's Bachelorette party this past Saturday, 29th of August 2015. Everything went smoothly as far as planning and letting Rich know where to pick us up & drop off along with our return ride home. I booked this back in June with Rich after he confirmed that a Wedding pick up cancelled leaving his evening free to pick us up & drop us off back home later. A few days before the party he calls me to confirm everything and let's me know that he booked another pick up before our 7:00pm reservations along with another drop off before our pick up at 1/1:30am but he assured me that he should have no problems since he gave himself a few hour window between. At 6:30pm the night of her party the Driver, Rich, (who I have been conversing with through phone calls and texts since June) calls me and tells me he is an hour and a half out. And will not be able to be there till 8:00. Due to this I had to cancel my dinner reservation at Vinyl & I let him know then that I would pay him at the end of the night when we arrived home. He said that was fine at this point since I have been so accommodating throughout this whole process. He allowed us to eat in the limo since we needed to get to our next destination by 10:30 which we were thankful for but was not our ideal eating. Again, we were Just riding the wave out by this point. About 15 min till we arrive at our destination he calls me and tells me that we need to make sure the garbage is picked up and he will collect the payment + gratuity at drop off. I told him, "No, we agreed after we arrived back at the house." He proceeded to say "What you don't trust me?" I then stated it has nothing to do with trust and everything to do with making sure I get what he is getting paid to do. He then proceeded to tell me, "You know what this was a mistake" & hung up on me. After about 10 min two of the party goers stated they needed me to talk to the driver, so I proceeded to the front and he told me again that he wanted to be paid in full. I told him he would get half now and the other half at pick up. He stated it was a shitty night altogether and I said I am sorry that it's not going to plan but I didn't make you late to pick us up. I had to cancel my dinner reservations & order take out to ensure my girls were fed. He wanted $300 but he eventually agreed to take half and said he will see us at the end of the night. I let him know I would text him our pick up. After the show we get to our final destination and I see that at 10:32, two minutes after our show at the Baton Lounge started he text me the following message: "Sorry you didn't trust me but I'm not going to come back. Arrange for transportation back. Next time trust me !!!" I am sorry but considering how the night started out did you blame me? Especially, after he rudely told a paying consumer that making this trip was a mistake when I made it 3 months in advance before you booked other pick up and drop offs before and between us. Had I given him the full payment I am sure I would have still been stranded with having to pay more out of pocket then we actually did. The limo was nice, the driving was terrible especially after he hung up on me. We did make other arrangements for the 14 of us that he left stranded but I will never use this service nor will I recommend it to anyone.If this is the way that you conduct your business its a wonder you still have a company. I am not looking for any compensation, however, you needed to know that this experience was not all your reviews cracked your company up to be. read more
