I went in and thought I could get a pedicure since it was 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon. It did not seem too busy. Well... several people came in and had an appointment which I understand but communicate if the wait will be an extended period. They put my feet in the water and I waited for 1 hour with my feet soaking. This was ridiculous and the failure to communicate is not acceptable. They know how long or should know how long the wait will be, then say something. The only reason I stayed is I was traveling the next day but if they would have communicated to come back in 1 hour instead of not saying anything left a very poor customer service experience. I could have easily came back 1 hour later. Since my feet were soaking I felt trapped and should have left after 30 minutes. I spoke to the manager and she apologized but I felt nothing would have changed. I will not go back. Advice is to communicate if wait will be an extended period, most people expect communication and will be patient if you are setting proper expectation. I cannot recommend this establishment. read more

Needed my nails done for an event over the weekend and went to this place since a friend had recommended it and it was closer to my house than my normal nail salon. The lady that did my nails took TWO HOURS just to do a simple dip manicure. No tips, no design, just simple color. She kept just getting up to walk away and wander around with no explanation as to why, she seemed to be staring off into space a bunch, it was super weird. For taking so long, I would've expected superior work, but my nails were horrible. I came in first thing last Thursday with my mother-in- law to get a basic pedicure and basic acrylic nails. My mother in law got a pedicure and a gel manicure. We got there and they started the pedicures immediately. I had a specific blister on my toe that I pointed out no less than 4 times. I would have thought the sight of me wincing with pain would be enough, but when she went at it with a pumice stone, I asked for someone new. Then getting my nails done. I waited nearly 45 minutes AFTER my pedicure before anyone even sat me at a table to start my nails. I could understand the wait if there was more than 3 people in the salon. There were 5 workers. 3 customers. I asked twice if I should just go get my nails done elsewhere because I had an appointment at 12 for my wedding. After 45 minutes, I finally get moved to a table. They prep the nails and glue on the tips. Girl gets up, leaves again. I'm sitting there for almost an hour just with the long tips on my nails and nobody working on them. Finally, I asked if anyone can help me before I leave. Someone comes over another 30 minutes later. He does one coat of paint and tries to release me. In the 20 minutes he works on my nails, he asked me 4 times if I was angry. Yes, sir. I am angry. What should have taken no more than 90 minutes literally took hours. We ended up getting out of there at 2:30 pm. We got there at 9:30 am. Then proceeded to ask me not if I wanted to tip him, but how much I wanted to tip him. If you think I'm tipping after that, you are out of your mind. What's worse is that it's been a week and my toes have chipped and an my acrylic nails tip I had to have fixed on Friday.... One day after they were done. I came to this place because they were close to my wedding venue and had decent reviews. Never again. This place was awful. I've never been so disappointed in mail service in my life. If you have an entire day to dedicate to your nails, have at it. If you have a schedule, avoid it completely. read more

I don't need to tell her what I would like she comes up with amazing designs. Each and every time. They are friendly, and great with customer service. Gel is always the way to go if you want your nails to last long time. I get full sets done every 2-3 months. I have never broken a nail or a nail has never came off. I work as a corrections officer. In this line of work it's kinda usual to break nail here and there. But nope! They do great quality work. My nail polish has cracked maybe twice out of the 6 months I've came here. I used to go to Lynn's on the regular. A couple of years ago the people were mysteriously swapped out, like no one would notice. When asked where they were, we got conflicting stories. It was weird and creepy so we switched to a different place. My usual place was swamped with a large group and I really needed to get mine done, I was near Lynn's and had heard they had had another crew change. The wait wasn't bad, the girl who did mine was painfully slow- regular pedi/gel manicure and my nails are natural not acrylic, but took nearly 2 hours. She cut the crap out of my toes. They're a hot mess and I still have a scab from one cut it was so deep- from 1 week ago. I figured she was new, but yikes. By Sunday, 2 days after, there was a lump on my left thumbnail, I rubbed it off and the gel polish just came off in a blob!! I ended up just taking the rest of the polish off so it's bare. I put a coat of my own clear. Looks fab, y'all. It's one week today and another blob just sloughed off my right thumb nail. My cuticles are ragged and I have hangnails galore. My nails usually look better than this at the 3 week mark. Needless to say, they won't be getting a 3rd chance. read more

The manicure that you pay for includes only taking the polish off, drilling the nails, filing them and putting new polish on. Not a manicure price nor experience at all. I came in for a manicure and the lady who did my nails didn't push back my cuticles, didn't dust my hands off after filing them, painted over the dust on my nails (they're clear so in the sun I can see the white specs) , didn't match the acrylics to my nail so you can see my real nails on the sides, didn't match the length so they're all different lengths, completely rushed while painting my nails and the hearts I got done were mis-shaped. They charged me $68 for all this. It took them 30 mins to do my nails, usually it takes the girl I go to at a different salon an hour and they come out amazing. I went into this nail shop to try it out. My friends told me that it is really pretty in there and nice. I go in there and I am met by a friendly Asian woman in a mask. I'm told to pick up my color and she hands me the gel Styles I told her I do not want gel I want acrylic and just regular nail polish because I like to put my own designs on there and you can't put designs on gel nail polish. When I went in they were friendly but they rushed thru my nails very quickly cutting them way shorter than I wanted (I wanted coffin shape) she cut them so short that she said they could only be square, that was whatever. I asked her if I could get them matte black and she said yes....there's no way in hell my nails are matte black. We finish and she says it's $50. Little much for the length and the fact they weren't even matte. The process for them to be matte takes just as much as gel but they raised their prices $20 more. One of the worst nail spa experiences ever! Girls day out with two of my friends. The salon is clean and beautiful... compared to most places I've been to. They have wide selection of colors and add ons. Got a gel shellac manicure and a deluxe pedicure. The gentleman who did my manicure was so kind and friendly...but he messed up couple times and had to clean it off and start all over again. I didn't complain because I just wanted to get it over with and move onto my pedicure. I love pedicures because of the massage chair. I also purposely got the pedicure deluxe because it came with Paraffin Wax. First of all, the water was too hot for me, so i was hesitant of going all the way in and she rolled her eyes at me and added some cool water. She then didn't turn on my massage chair so I asked her if she can turn it on for me and she said, "hold on, after I'm done". Ummm. When? Really? I already have to sit here and watch you rip the skin off of me and you just want me to wait? Yes! I literally mean the "ripping my skin off" part! She definitely took more than just my cuticles, It was the most painful pedicure experience ever. I couldn't relax even for a bit. Most people realize they're doing something wrong when the customer makes a little twitch as a pain reflex, but this lady was acting clueless or was clueless and just kept going at it. Me, of course didn't say anything. For the Paraffin Wax, she brought it in a plastic bag and stuck my feet in there. The wax barely stuck to my skin, instead, the plastic bag got most of it. Sigh*** Paying extra for the "deluxe pedicure" was definitely a waste of my money, but my nails did look better after couple days. Props for that....I guess. read more

I got charged $50 for short, basic, one color nails. The paint is still sticky and will likely peel, AND it's still see through. I had an obvious open wound on the side of my finger that both of the people that did my nails neglected to care for whatsoever. There is still acrylic under the nail, and I genuinely had to go home and file them myself so I wasn't uncomfortable and getting stabbed by that acrylic underneath. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this nail salon and its owners, Denny and Vana. Their work is perfection, and they are so nice and personable. After my first time here a few months ago the next time I called Denny remembered me and has remembered my name since. I've gotten gel manicures several times now and they always looks amazing and last 2-3 weeks (plus they get new colors regularly which is great), plus a few pedicures and an eyebrow wax too. Vana also does eyelash extensions which I just found out today. She did her own and they looked beautiful. Denny and Vana are the regular technicians and I've had both of them do my nails -they both do a fantastic job. So that's another plus is that you can easily keep the same technician.
