Produce that is difficult to find at other stores can be found here, plus, it looks fresh and inviting. I always enjoy going here, but, often end up spending more than planned in my budget because I find items I've been searching for and couldn't find anywhere else in the city. The vibe of this store is really nice - the customer-to-customer interactions are also pleasant. I believe the staff sets the tone for the store; customers feel the warmth and hospitality and in turn are very pleasant and helpful with each other.

On a whim, I decided to stop by and grab an 8-piece. To my surprise (8 years later) they have updated the store. It is clean, well-stocked and there are cashiers (yes, actual humans) who check you out and bag your items. I was also happy to see a wide selection of drink mixers and sodas, all reasonably priced. The surrounding neighborhood has a large Hispanic population, and they do cater to that. (Some of the best tortilla chips in town can be purchased here! (Customers and employees alike) If you think it looks sketch, please know that I have been shopping here for YEARS with zero incidents. There is always a security guard right when you walk in, and I think everyone understands that this is a store that does not allow shenanigans. One of my favorite places in the Berclair/38122 area.
