I give this place 5 stars based on there beer. They have the staple beers always on tap such as the Black cobra stout and flying aces pale ale and they are all rock solid beers and then you have there seasonal and one off batches like the two dollar Jim barley wine and the Kurt Russell double ipa both are excellent. As for the food it's just plain good bar food. Great wings and burgers. So if you want great beer and some wings this is a great place to stop. read more

As a sports bar, love this place. I've only tried the wings which are good. I usually go for drinks with friends. Love the Bee's Knees.

Consistently one of my favorite places to eat. The Cheesehead Burger and brew fries are always a winner! Best burger in town.

Enjoying another Red Rocket amber ale and waiting for my Dixie Heat wings. Try does an INCREDIBLE job with his brews. EVERYTHING on the menu is good especially the Dixie Heat wings and Reuben. I've been coming for 10 years and this place has ALWAYS been a Home Run! (Even if you're starting at Third Base! ). When we have friends in town to visit, we bring here and they are glad we did. Ate here just today with my Hubby and had the best experience in a long time! The food was great.....very tasty and hot when it came....ordered potato skins and "buffalo" chicken quesadilla's for appetizers....almost didn't need an entree...both got burgers and fries and they were really juicy with the cheese melting off the sides....had some of their beer on tap...great, great meal! But the service was the best part....never had to ask for anything or wait for a beer....our server was the best!!!!! Can't wait to eat there again and try something new! read more

The best brewery in the area. Lots of good beer, but the food is lacking. Everything is fried which makes the whole restaurant smell like grease. Don't go there if you want to smell fresh for a lady, you will smell like a frier. read more

After 10 years of patronage, this has far been the worst dining experience ever! Appetizer came out after the entree. Waited 20 minutes for the waitress to return ti the table to get the dessert order, after having been at the neighboring table 4 times. No apology or remorse. I can understand they were busy but to completely ignore a table is just beyond comprehension. I will not be back. This has ruined it for me!! read more

Great place for food and home-brewed beer!

This place was OK. The house beers were delicious, burger was good and the potato wedges were awesome. It was the other factors that I wasn't very fond of. I was there for the Packers-Bears NFC Championship and I was disappointed with their TVs. They have a ton of HDTVs of a variety of sizes, but they were all tuned to analog channels (blurry cropped and stretched pictures). If I want to watch another sporting event, I will likely avoid Third Base since everyone else I'm sure had the game on in HD. I was also surprised they didn't have any sort of specials to coincide with the big game. If you're a sports bar, why not show some appreciation to all of the sports fans that chose your establishment to watch the game rather than another? Unless I'm looking for a quick bite to eat and I'm nearby, I doubt I'll return. There's plenty of other places in this town that make decent food. read more

Great food but not always the best service. When we came in we were their third customer of the day. There were at least five waitresses working, but we only saw ours three times. She took our order, brought our food then the bill. She never came over to see if we needed refills or ask how everything was. read more

Third Base Brewery is a great destination for custom brews. Their food is bar quality but the atmosphere is great. Everyone is friendly and you can have a great time their. They have over twenty TV's so you can watch your favorite sporting event. read more

I love to visit local microbreweries whenever I go somewhere different and this one did not disappoint. I had the Black Cobra and the Bee's knees which were good well balanced beers with lower ABU's which what I like and for lunch had the Blarney Stone turkey sandwich and a dozen wings with the Red Rocket sauce. It's a barbecue sauce with a little kick. Good was excellent and served quickly. Our bartender was attentive helpful. Will go again if we had the time. read more

They have the best fries in town, their burgers, wraps, and nachos also very good. Really the food is quite good and there craft specialty beers they make in house amazing. I just don't want to go to a brewery to have the feel of a sports bar it's crowded and loud and the service is not great. So I always get my food to go and just drink a beer while I wait for it to get ready. But I truly do recommend this place to people. read more

I love eating at The Third Base! It has been nice to find a restaurant/bar that makes a great bar burger consistently. Everytime we have eaten there, our food has been prepared correctly and tastes great. The Brew City fries are the best! With a family of five, eating out is a luxury. This place was much better when it was Cedar River Brewing. That being said, it's not a chain restaurant, have some unique menu items, and they are one of the few places in the area that carry their own beer. If you want a beer an typical bar appetizer go here. If you want lunch or dinner, I would just skip this place. read more

Poor Service ! We reserved their private room and had a party of 30, and only one waitress was assigned to help us. It took 1 1/2 hours for everyone to get served. We complained and they got defensive. Food and beer was good, but the service was a joke: our group spent several hundred dollars there and the service was crap. read more

Just moved here and this was our first 'adult night out' stop. We went on a Friday night and it was busy. Got a seat at the bar and settled in. Stiff drinks, good beer, and great food. Loved the southwest egg rolls and WINGS. Will definitely be back. read more

June 20, 2016, Surprise, they are under new ownership and do not have a brewers license, so no home brews. Food was good but this is a micro brew or at least used to be one. We went there for happy hour and the hours on the entrance way do not match the happy hours on the website. What a disappointment if you expected some local beer. We had the Barbque pork that was pretty good but a little dry. They do have some excellent home made barbque sauces. Go for the food and pray for the beer. This place is in a small strip mall across the street from ROckwell Collins. read more

Been a patron for 4+ years. Love the beer they brew, and they have a pretty fully stocked bar for other drinks. Food is of course greasy bar/grill, as to be expected, and quite decent. Nice place to hang out, and shoot the bull over a beer or two, or three. read more

The beer is the best in town, no question. I especially like the Flying Aces, nice and hoppy. Beer prices are way reasonable, I would pay twice what they are asking and consider myself lucky. They have trivia/poker and get all the pro football games. The staff is very efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant. I feel right at home. The food is good and reasonably priced. I refuse to go back to Bufalo Wild Wings ever again. read more
