The yoga room was beautiful, open and airy, with views of the trees. They have a beautiful "peace trail" on their grounds that makes for a beautiful sunrise. It's easy to follow and short, but bring sneakers, it's steep. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Because classes never went live in person again I emailed the owner to ask if I could just redeem them online and she said that since it has been over a year the gift certificate was no good. Nowhere on the gift certificate does it say there is an expiration date. That was never told to me when I purchased it either. She was very rude in her emails to me and was not willing to work with me. When I told her I would leave a bad review she then said that I could use the credit online but why would I want to now if I have to see her face & bad energy? Had she have dealt with the situation professionally I would have redeemed them online. This is supposed to be a meditation place seems like someone needs to work on their ego & anger. I'm not "playing the victim" I lost my business too due to COVID , still , that is no way to treat customers. Based on other peoples reviews and her responses to them I see this is just how she is. Such a great enlightening experience! First off, the place is welcoming, calm, peaceful and nicely decorated which is already a great first feeling. The class I took is called 'Sound Bath & Overtoning' and was taught by the owner herself, Larise Megerdichian. She was warm and friendly, and started the class with some very interesting and thought-provoking reflections about the mind. We then started to meditate then laid down, and she started the sound vibrations. It was a very unique experience for me especially since I hardly ever stop thinking, but this forced me to calm my mind and my thoughts and experience nothingness. At some points the vibrations were so loud and strong, it was almost unbearable, but in the end, I felt more calm and relaxed, and somehow more peaceful. Bindupoint has very unique classes about mindfulness and healing. It's not your average-Joe yoga studio, it's more like an experience. Give it a try, it's worth it and beneficial.

Equine Therapy was a voluntary class to take at Luminance, the recovery center I was in. I i…read moreitially thought this would be incredibly stupid, and an absolute waste of time. I was 100% wrong. The experience was amazingly incredible. We were told the horses were very intuitive, and I quickly discovered that myself. Dealing with both PTSD and the opiate addiction that came with it, my thoughts and feelings, and my energy output were all negative. And based on the exercise we were doing, the horse I had chosen reacted negatively. About to give up, I cleared my mind and tried my best to find peace, and for the first time that afternoon, the horse did a total about face, and the exercise took an unexpected and life changing turn. From that moment on, I knew I had to face the horrors of my past if I were to have a future. The horses, and the incredible staff, at Intuit are simply amazing. If you put your all in it, you will walk out of the therapy with a new insight. The staff are caring and compassionate, and clearly love what they are doing. They will listen if you want to talk. They will allow you to be as open or as quiet as you wish. I cannot recommend Intuit and the Equine Therapy enough. What I experienced there is a story I share to this day, now a month shy of a year since I was there. I promise you, if you enter the therapy with Intuit with an open mind, your life will be altered in ways that you never thought possible.

I had an uncomfortable encounter with one of the therapists one afternoon when I went to the…read morestables to pet the horses. the stables all read open to the public to pet. However I was very abruptly and rudely approached by one of the counselors when I went to do just that. I had had a really long hard day and went to take a walk, the fairgrounds where these horses are kept used to be a place where I took lessons. and it was a friendlier place then. Anyways, I was told very rudely that if I wasn't volunteering ti clean up after the horses that I wasn't welcome to pet the horses. I asked for clarity and because I found it off putting that a mental health worker would believe that tone of voice to represent a therapist, somebody who supposedly has compassion and empathy, if she owned the barn because I thought that the fairgrounds owned it. She just sort of got all huffy and acted like she couldn't be bothered to answer my questions. Not impressed.

Put my deposit down of $375.00, (now it's $750) and they kept a portion of it because they stated that kids were running around in the common areas, and they received a "complaint" from the golf club. I met with Mary S. and asked to view what video they had. No video of kids on golf course, the only video was kids on patio, which was connected to the ballroom, and we had approval to use the outside adjoining patio. Also, some teens exited through the back door. No sign on the back door stating "no exit " and the door was not locked. That's all they had!!! No damage was done whatsoever, and they still kept a portion of my deposit. Mary S. said since we cleaned up so nicely, and since there was no damage done, they will only require $150.00 out of the $375.00 deposit! What? How do you keep a deposit when no damage was done and just for kids playing on the upper adjoining patio? Ridiculous!! No kids were on the golf course and there was no proof ever shown of kids on the golf course. Why would there be a complaint from the golf course? Perhaps that was made up. I have had other events here previously, and never ran into any such problems. Apparently they have changed their "guidelines" now, and will keep your deposit for any small thing they can think of. I do not suggest renting out any of their rooms for any of your events.

Dealing with the owner, Helen, in setting up the service was very easy as she allowed me to do the majority via email (I'm hardly ever available for phone), was prompt in responding and was very laid back, which is very important for spa people! Half of the balance was required as a down which seems reasonable since they can't book other parties, and the remainder due a week or so before the event. Everything was easily invoiced, emailed over and payment was done via credit card. Now to the fun details of the party, had 15 people total for a pampering spa day, so had 4 techs: 1 for mini facials, 1 for pedi/foot massage (some girls had already done pedicures and didn't want to mess them up so Helen agreed to give an option), 1 for a neck, back & shoulder chair massage & 1 palm reader. Each of the procedures were 20 mins and the girls got to do each of the procedures so they didn't have to pick. Many of the girls commented that they were surprised that the techs didn't rush them and it allowed them to really have fun and not feel like they were just pushing people thru the procedures. I found the prices to be very reasonable and everyone had an amazing time so I recommend Serve the Goddess for any event that requires some pampering.
