BUT Hilton seems to have cut corners with this Spark brand, which I found to be annoying and unacceptable: "Breakfast" is deficient, IMO; there are NO hot eggs, meats, pancakes or waffles. There are Bagels, cold cereal, muffins, yogurt available. There is NO in-room coffee, which I had come to expect from Hilton. There is no in-room wall-mounted thermostat; you need to negotiate the clumsy wall/window unit. There is only one ice machine, located on the first floor. For that matter, there is only one elevator. Entire hotel uses those small, round-bowl toilets, which are not at all accommodating to the male anatomy. Spark is the first hotel I've been to that uses these deficient bowls. What are the management thinking? Shower walls have no grab-bars and no footrest, which ladies seem to prefer. Room door was very poorly sealed - this could prove deadly in a smoke or fire situation. "by Hilton" has been my go-to brand for many years. But it appears that Spark by Hilton has missed the mark. What are they thinking?
