They have signs to wear masks but they don't enforce mask wearing at all. People walk in without masks, order and walk around without them. Employees have them on some of the time, they have them hanging on their ear half the time. A employee with his mask on his ear was talking by the pick up counter talking with a maskless customer. Third Space has a very friendly homey atmosphere with friendly staff. It is a rather large place with lots of seating options (couches, chairs etc) and always full of people. I ordered an iced oat milk latte with honey and it came out great. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. My first time here, so I'm trying to be optimistic that I caught them in an off day. My Chai Tea was much like lukewarm dishwater with a hint of cinnamon. My wife's Americano was basically a milky, cool, near-coffee flavored cup of liquid. Worse, we were part of a group and soon after we started our meeting, the staff turned on loud classic rock music for "ambiance." The best feature or worst depends if you have kids. They have a large amount of space. The side room is there for families with kids. Toys that they can play with even a changing table that had wipes. There also is a wall mounted roku tv. Tried to get the remote app to work but it wouldn't connect. They have various coffee's some local (switchback) and some sort of regional (some Arkansas company). I am thrilled that i can purchase Switchback (Ethiopia adado best!) some of the baristas are on their game with great customer service a friendly smile and nice conversation. Others miss the mark and havent really acknowledged our presence in a way. Nor did we get thanked for our business. Also happy i can purchase v60 filters here. Got served a pour over that wasn't warm. Had to leave when work called. No time to correct this catastrophe. read more

Nice place! Visited home for the holidays but needed to get some work done on a Saturday. Ordered multiple cortados over the course of the day, and by the second one, Will (?) asked if I wanted to try a different coffee in the drink. This was a nice touch. Not pretentious or intimidating, but the 'bougie coffee' was there if you were looking for it. Way friendlier than most of the coffee places in LA. A church group did come in about about halfway through to do a book launch. Mic set up and everything. It was a little hard to concentrate seeing that there were a lot of people and a lot of talking. I don't think this is a regular thing, but it kinda took over the shop for two hours and I felt out of place even though I was one of the few people with a drink there. Sidenote, I'm pretty sure one of the church group members straight up thought I didn't speak English. Nothing to do with the shop, but possibly telling of the clientele? Either way great coffee, friendly staff, just make sure to assert your English if a church group comes in. Here's a possible script! All employees were very warm and welcoming! I got the Irish cream latte and the tomato pesto panini. Coffee was absolutley fantastic and served at the perfect tempurature. My sister got the Honey chai latte along with the egg and cheese bagel and it was also wonderful. They have great food options ( including gluten free) and it has excellent flavor. I gave this place a shot a couple of times. I really love the idea of local everything and typically I enjoy things from my home state but for some reason I just do not like the espresso here. I'm a avid americano drinker and it just tastes very berry ish here. Which it not bad but is not the flavor I am wanting. I want a bold flavor and this coffee shop just doesn't hit the spot. I love the atmosphere here and it is very clean. Staff is not overbearing! While I only had the coffee I'm sure the food and other drinks are good. This used to be a good place to meet someone or to have a coffee or snack and do a little work. I've been there twice in the last few weeks and the place is really dirty. The womens bathroom is pretty much unusable. it is obvious no one has cleaned the bathroom in a really long time. Hair all over, dirty toilets and sink, grime in the corners of the floor and filthy under the hand dryer with hair stuck to the wall. Don't want to know what the food prep area looks like. I was there one time in the afternoon during a slow time and there were 5 employees standing around behind the counter chatting the whole time I was there! send a couple to deep clean the bathroom! I have been bringing tons of business through meetings, sit downs, and networking at this coffee house as it was super comfortable and a productive environment. Today I had witnessed the owner sit down with management to have a meeting. Quite frankly all of them need to reevaluate how they talk to one another and their employees. They where loud, talked bad about their current and past employees, they where exaggerating problems and not discussing solutions. The owner yelled across the cafe at an employee and followed by a manager yelling demands about close work. It was essentially pathetic to see this play out. I do not support anyone who has the audacity to talk to peers let alone employees in this disrespectful manner. To the owner, find new management promptly and learn how to communicate in an effective and professional manner. I cannot believe this is a functioning cafe. For the manager that said they are so f*** glad Brady quite, you should truly never work in a field where you deal with people, also rolling your eyes makes you look like a child. read more

I ordered a vanilla latte and asked for latte art, my wife ordered a chai, and my daughter got a strawberry smoothie. The last time I went I ordered something I had already gotten before but they must have been training someone new because it was not at all the same quality as before and it quite literally took 30 minutes to get my drink. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to meet with friends, work on a project, study, or enjoy a great cup of coffee! It has plenty of tables for working and several comfortable couches and chairs tucked away for relaxing and private conversations. I want to preface this by saying that this concept is a great idea. I love that there's a playroom and little nooks in the main area giving the space a more private feel when you're seated. I met two of my mom friends there this morning with all of our kids. The first mom to arrive waited over 5 minutes to be greeted while no one else was even in the restaurant. Then she waited even longer for her sons forgotten order. The other mom got the wrong drink order. My partner and I ordered some food (which was supposed to be hot and was literally cold in the middle) a black coffee and a latte, both of which were forgotten for over 20 minutes. I waited in line *again* to tell them they forgot our order, and they did bring it it in a timely manner, but the black coffee was pretty bad. It tastes sour. Outside of the food, there was a paper room divider at the back of the playroom that looked broken. Shortly after we sat down with our kids in the play room, it fell on a little girl and came apart further. My partner went and tried to fix it, but ended up propping it up against the wall. All in all, I'd say this place needs a better order tracking system and possibly more hands on management. Coffee shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to get, if you're going to sell food, make sure it leaves the kitchen properly cooked and if you're going to advertise a play area for kids, make sure it is kept up with as far as removing broken items and cleaning grime from toys that a multitude of small children are handling/mouthing. Third Space has a lot of well space. The interior very inviting and huge. I ordered the Kenyan pour over and it was good. The presentation is first class. They poured some of the coffee in a cup and give you a small glass carafe with the rest of the coffee in it. They also include what I call a Belgian bite.
