We had cigars but bought more. The cigar collection was anemic, but we were not bothered by that because we came prepared. It filled up pretty quickly around 8 because a DJ showed up. So it went from a cool and chill place to CLUB RICHMOND pretty quickly. We enjoyed the best of both worlds...cigar bar by day/nightclub by night. The food was above average for bar food. The drinks were solid. The staff was cool but slammed by guests. And the patrons were very friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we went back a week later. The vibe: according to google the lounge opened at 10:00, but we were not let in until 10:35. Upon entry, you go downstairs and find a spot to sit. They have really cool murals of various figures on the wall and a cool neon sign. The music being played was good, but it was more of a club vibe than a hookah lounge. I came for the hookah, and the hookah girls were still getting ready. So we didn't get our hookah until 11:15 - and it was weak. The cost: It was $20 entrance free, plus $30 hookah, and $15 per drink. THIS IS NOT A HOOKAH LOUNGE, meaning the "hookah girls" come and sell you hookah, but there is nobody that changes the coals or addresses the poor hookah quality. The hookah's used are cheap $20 hookahs with disposable hoes. The hookah was weak. Granted, I've been to the Middle East and have had some awesome hookah to compare it to. You can find quality hookah in the states though (NYC, LA, PHX, Austin, etc), and it doesn't cost $30. I find that the quality of the hookah is really dependent on the hookah being used, the process of packing the tobacco, quality of tobacco, quality coals, and a quality hoes! With that being said, THIS IS NOT A HOOKAH LOUNGE. This is a club with good music, that happens to sell horrible hookah with gorgeous "hookah girls". I'd say that the place has potential, because the vibe is there. Invest in quality hookahs w/real hoes, train the hookah girls how to properly pack the hookah, figure out how to change the coals.

The music was blaring through the room, lights were on, but no guests were around. Seemed like they did all that for 2 interviews? No one noticed us and I assumed they were closed because one of the glass windows was wrapped up. Next day, the wrapped up window was removed and guess all fixed. A few guests were munching and drinking. We were also able to walk around the rooftop (nice views). I don't know what season others came, but the menu was extremely limited. So I opted for brussel sprouts (most bang for my buck) and wings. The fries that came with the wings reminds me of McDonald's. Wings were okay and my friend's pizza ($18) wasn't cooked fully and quite small for the price. Staff did make another one and did alot better the second time around.

My bank statement reflected $32, that's just one issue...the bartenders seemed very bothered, the tables were wobbly and in bad shape, the chairs were cheap fold up chairs, it was extremely hot in the building. Considering the amount of money that I paid for entry, and drinks was ridiculous considering the atmosphere. Paying 5 star prices should present 5 star experiences. I have avoided this place for months because of the crowd I see going in. Due to my friends bday, I went but I will NEVER go there again.
