    Lexy is so amazing with color! I love all the pampering I got at Thirty Hair. I felt so spoiled and relaxed. The decor and atmosphere is so cute with the moss walls and plants.

    Well, I wanted to give them a chance to give me my first balayage, but it unfortunately ended in disaster. The woman who did my hair was named Lucy, and while she was nice and pleasant to talk to, she had no idea what she was doing when it came to hair. My hair is not a balayage at all, and I'm honestly a little embarrassed to show pictures but I will post them anyway. She bleached the top of my head so that the hair that frames my face would be blonde, but that's not what I asked for. The back of my hair was hardly the color I asked for either (I wanted ashy blonde), and they put a ton of toner in it so it was mixed light brown/ashy/dark brown with grey ends (because I did have previous faded grey dye in my hair from a month ago), and then my front is blonde. It's bad, y'all... Lucy also gave me a bad cut, with shoddy non-existent layers, and also attempted to give me a middle part which only sort of worked... I'm giving them two stars because the owner reached out to me personally and gave me a full refund. The owner, Sarah, really tried her best to make me happy, but something went awry with the communication to Lucy about my hair. Sarah did offer me to come back and get it redone by another staff member for free, which I deeply appreciate, but at this point I am too afraid and already have a consultation with another salon. Overall, really disappointed in this experience but at the very least they did give me my money back.

    Well, I've found my new salon! This was my first visit to Thirty Hair and I had a wonderful experience. To start, my first visit happen to fall on their last day in the current salon. Tomorrow they will be moving just down the way to the other end of the shopping center they're in now. Because of this, I think it may have caused a bit of a delay in responding to my original call earlier in the week. I did have to call twice, but they totally made up for it by getting me in the very next day! Everyone was extremely warm, welcoming, and accommodating. My stylist, Allison was friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly communicative. I love the fact that she gave me time to describe what I wanted and also go over pricing before we got started. I don't think I've ever had a stylist do that before and have often times been stuck with a surprise price at the end! After talking about what I was looking for, Allison was able to deliver in a timely and professional manner. One thing I absolutely loved about the salon was this little sign they had posted on the wall next to my styling chair. I tried to take a picture but yelp doesn't let me zoom, so the gist of it was: ...we are here to help you have a good time not to debate or discuss contentious topics like politics or whether or not to wear a mask... This was a breath of fresh air, since this was one main reason I stopped going to my previous salon! I also love that they offer good deals such as a $20 off coupon for your first visit (on website), as Well as a check-in offer here on yelp for a free travel-sized Aveda hand lotion (this is an Aveda salon, so they use and sell Aveda products primarily and YAY, Aveda is Cruelty-free and Vegan!!) I can't wait to see the new salon on my next visit!

    I am one HAPPY and SATISFIED new customer! I called to try to make an appointment for a Saturday, but they were fully booked, but did get an appointment the following Tuesday with Amber. I'm a registered nurse and had an educational webinar that evening so I had to make sure my "wisdom highlights" (grays) were covered! lol The receptionist even called me back on Saturday because she had a cancellation, but I was unable to come due to another appointment. Amber is great! She spent time asking me what I want, like/dislike, etc. I showed her past photos so she can get an idea of my style and how carefree I am. I can literally have pitched black hair one day then red the next, then dark brown. Who knows, I might just surprise my hubby one day and come home with his "blonde fantasy" request lol. Amber is so sweet and easy to talk to. We talked about different topics the entire time. She definitely listened to me and my hair needs. My appointment was at 9:45am and I was out of there by 11:45am. My hubby really appreciated that because I had to take him to his Dr's appointment at 1pm. Normally I would spend hours in a chair at Bubbles. My hair is vibrant again and oh so soft. She placed low and high lights in my hair. She even took the time and used their ring light to take pictures after. I'm so glad they gave me Amber. I am definitely coming back, follow-up appointment is already booked lol. The only thing I would really wish they do is check everyone's temperature upon arrival, and provide hand sanitizer or ask each client to wash their hands before being serviced. I did see them clean the chairs in between clients.

    Absolutely a great salon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My stylist Philly was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't not recommend this place enough. 10/10!!!!

    Do any of your hairstylists have experience with pixie cuts?

    Hi! Personally I love pixies from Tammy or Emma! They both do a fantastic job with short cuts. Bring lots of photos! But they are good with short and understanding your hair texture/type/density combined with your head and face shape!

    Anybody ever see seniors in the clientele? Like 30 with 36 years of experience? ;)

    Yes! Ed has been doing hair for over 50 years and enjoys all the original work such as short cuts, traditional taper haircuts, curling iron or roller sets etc. he can even do the original shag haircuts or the Farrah feathered cuts!…

My aesthetician was Ciara. I had my eyebrows, lips, under arms and Brazilian done. At soon as I walked in, I can smell weed on her, especially as her hands were close to my face, and I smelled it on her breathing on me. But that's not the worst. It felt like I was the first customer because the wax was really hot. I had mentioned it to her several times that it was hot and she even told me that she noticed it so when she did my eyebrows but she continued to do my eyebrows and upper lips. She even put more wax on top even after she said that she notice it. I did keep on letting her know that it was still too hot. She asked if this was the first time I've had wax done, and I told her - no. I've been getting waxed for the last 25 years. When I got to my car to check my face, I had large noticeable burnt spots under my eyebrows, both left and right and over my upper lip, both left and right. I went back to the store to show the manager, Francesca Moreira, to complain about the burn spots from Ciara. The manager told me that it looks a little red; and when I told her to look closer and that Ciara actually burnt skin off, she told me that she was not certified to say so or not. It does not take a genius to see that skin was taken from the hot wax. There's a huge difference. I'm not sure how she is the manager of a team of aestheticians, and not certified just to see that Ciara, or other aestheticians, actually took skin off when Ciara waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. I had to ask to talk to the Regional Manager, Tony Badolato, but she only offered to provide me an email. I had to call back several times because she provided two incorrect emails where it was undeliverable because it didn't exist. Finally, the front desk provided me with the correct one. It took 3x times to get a hold of the regional manager. I had to go to work with burnt scabs on my face. I cried upset over the whole experience. Bottom line, I will not be coming back to any European Wax location. This experience destroyed any expectation I might have with any other aesthetician they might have on staff or the managers they hire who don't have training or is certified in the service they provide. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I did get reimbursed but not until after I was asked to provide pictures for proof by the Regional Manager. It was a horrific experience. Never again.

Don't come…read morein one month and it's $15, no surprise there but your invoice will be aggressive in stating that it is overdue the second it's sent to you. And that $15 you pay for the membership, better do it in January only because it's not for a year from when you started, it's due every January. So my membership that started in September still has to be renewed in January for another $15. I am not renewing just to find out all the other ways they plan on screwing me over. The worst is the managers/owners are completely absentee and make the waxers do double duty at the front desk and take on the brunt of frustrated customers. Must be nice to sit in your palace funded by bad business practices and the labor of others. Speaking of the waxers, Christina is absolutely amazing and the best waxer I've ever had. She is efficient, minimizes pain, and produces clean and lasting results. She should be paid what the quality of her work deserves and she should be treated better.

I scheduled my appointment online and snagged a last minute appointment for a Saturday morning with Madi. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment and she was able to take me right away. I paid for my services prior, which I appreciate. Nothing like a bottle neck at the front desk, with all your patrons trying to pay at the same time. The decor in the Beauty Lab is beautiful. If it very minimalistic, homey and comfortable. Most importantly, it is very clean! In fact, the kind gentlemen at the front desk was cleaning when I arrived. Cleanliness is definitely very important for a waxing business, so I appreciated that! The wax room was very spacious and clean. Madi was an absolute sweetheart. She was very professional and the wax experience was amazing! She had me in and out in no time, which I definitely appreciated on this specific Saturday, because it was snowing and I wanted to get off the roads ASAP. Amazing business, amazing staff, amazing experience! You should really patronize this business. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!
