These aren't even square and she kept cutting the side of my toe nails and filing them back when they were too short and hurt. I've been coming. Here for a long time this is probably the worst shaping I've ever gotten here. I could have done my own shaping better than that at home. Just ridiculous *** it was around 5-7 weeks since my last pedicure so my toes were not "really short" besides the big toe that broke. I added another picture to show that she was filing into my toe nails after cutting them super short as short as she could get them and made half of them round and tiny. She also cut the sides of the nails which you aren't supposed to do due to infection and hang nails. I asked her not to do this. there was no reason for her to cut the sides of my nails on one foot and not the other leaving with me with uneven toes. I appreciate the response but I feel that there should be an attempt to fix the situation instead of making excuses or insinuating that I'm making this up.

In the back room, I noticed two technicians available, just chatting. I assumed they needed a moment. Fifteen minutes passed with no update, which was unusual. Then an older woman walked in, sat down, and suddenly the staff told me, "She has an appointment, so we're going to take her first for her mani and pedi." I reminded them that I also had an appointment and had already been waiting 20 minutes. Their response was that she specifically requested them, and I would be seen "when the other technicians are done", even though those technicians were clearly busy and nowhere near finishing. My appointment was overlooked without any communication, and as a long‑time client, I was extremely disappointed. The only person who acknowledged me was the woman cleaning the nail stations, she was kind, brought me colors, and checked in. No one else did. Shame on you guys. I won't be returning, and it's clear why your reviews have been declining.

This was my 2nd time at Zara. First time was wonderful. I am not a fancy nail gal and don't know…read morethe lingo well. I've mostly just done my own nails. However one index nail has developed a split that stops growing at a point and breaks. My clear enamel no longer did the job. But a lady at Zara, months ago, fixed it! I believe she put gel on that nail because it was shinier and higher than the others. It lasted a long time. I returned recently and requested the same thing. Did not get it. And there was a language barrier so although I did ask why they had not done the gel that I had been very clear to request when checking in, it was too late. And they seemed to sincerely believe that what they had done would fix my problem and two ladies (check-in person and the person who did the work) did their best to explain to me what had actually been done to that nail (one kept using the word "foundation"). Unfortunately not only did that nail split within only a couple of days, causing me to have to clip it, ALL the nails began losing their clear coat in layers. Layers that are peeling and catching on things like hair. I feel like they tried but either did not want to do what I asked or thought their way was better for a reason I never understood due to a language challenge. I will not return.
