I HIGHLY recommend Kraft's! I sent my vehicle here after being involved in a collision. The repairs turned out to be mostly body work, aside from the right headlight being out the vehicle was mostly drivable. After turning my vehicle over I contacted Bob, the owner of the shop, the next day about taking my vehicle back and using it over the weekend before he began repairs. Bob gave me his personal advice and let me know he was happy to help me in any way I needed. I came down to the shop ready to mend my bumper together in whatever way possible with a couple of handy guy-friends and half an idea of what we could do to the car to get me on the road that weekend. To our pleasant surprise, Bob instead came out and personally handled the situation with an idea way over our heads to simply cut off the damaged bumper pieces and did it himself in a matter of a few minutes. It would have taken us all morning and a wide set of tools! I was blown away by Bob's courtesy and friendliness. He was truly willing to help in any way he could. I stoped by Kraft's today to have an estimate done for some bumper damage that I received in a parking lot bump with another vehicle. The owner of Kraft's looked at my vehicle and said that he wanted to try to use rubbing compound to see how much of the damage he could mitigate. After about 5 minutes, he asked me what I thought. I told him it looked amazing, and he said that I just saved myself about $600 because of the kind of paint he would have had to use. In mid March I got into an accident in the middle of a busy intersection downtown. The whole front of my Hyundai Elantra was smashed in and it was barely drivable. Since this was my first real accident, and I'm not originally from Columbus, I wasn't exactly sure where I was going to take my car. Being a young professional in her mid-twenties, and being someone who admittedly knows nothing about cars, I went off of a good friend's referral to go see Bob Kraft. His central location right on Greenlawn was the perfect distance from my accident downtown. I went straight there after filing the report and Bob was so helpful in breaking down the process, explaining to me how insurance was going to get involved and more. My car was in rough shape and after a few weeks in the shop, I was able to pick it up. I was shocked at how good my car looked.. honestly it looked even better than when I first bought it! Initially, I took my 1999 Jaguar to Rife's Autobody in Grandview for repair from a rear end collision. The insurance company estimated the repairs at $2,800. I told Rife's estimator that I did not want an expensive repair, since it could total the car. Rife's estimator came back with an $11,000 repair estimate, because the frame was damaged and they had to remove the floor pans to replace "frame components". I declined the estimate and went to pick up the car and was told the estimate cost was $500.00. I asked why I hadn't been informed that there was a charge for an estimate. The estimator did not answer. They held my car captive for several weeks racking up storage fees. My insurance adjuster tried to reason with them, but to no avail. The $500.00 dollars was paid. After the terrible experience at Rife's, I took my Jaguar to Kraft's Body on Greenlawn Avenue on the recommendation of my insurance adjuster. I asked Kraft's to look at the car to see if the frame was damaged as Rife's stated. He stated it had not been damaged and did not need repair. Kraft's repair the Jaguar for $3,200 and did a beautiful job - the car looks great. I have taken several cars for repair and painting and have been highly satisfied every time. My car was backed into while parked on the street. I was initially planning to take my car to 3C Body Shop because of their commercials, but read horrible reviews on them. I received a suggestion to go to Kraft's Body Shop, and I could not be happier! From my initial conversation with scheduling my appointment to picking up the car, it was a great experience. They worked with my insurance company, Progressive, seamlessly. When i went in to pick up my car my wife and I were extremely impressed with how clean the office was, which to us means they take pride in their shop, which was evident when i went to my car. The large dent was completely removed, another scratch on my bumper (not from the accident) was fixed, and the whole car was washed and waxed, the wheels were shined, and the interior was vacuumed and spotless. Mr. Kraft and his team are amazing! I used them for a front end repair and my boyfriend also had a back panel on his truck repaired. Both jobs were done to where the cars look better than before we turned them in in terms of the repair, but also the cars themselves - shiny and brand new looking. Cars were repaired within reasonable time despite the weather, holidays, etc. Kraft's kept me updated on the status of my car and what they were/were not finding. After hitting a deer (very sad...), I talked to my insurance agent, who recommended Kraft's. I can't thank her enough for pointing me in their direction. Their work was outstanding and the service was excellent. The work is perfect, and I mean perfect: Anyone who didn't know that I had hit the deer would have no idea that repairs had been made. Everything is aligned perfectly, and the color match is spot on. I also asked them to repair a significant "ding" on the driver's side door (which I would pay for beyond my deductible). I discovered that no profit was made by Kraft's on that particular repair. I paid exactly what it cost the company (the ding specialist charges them). As to customer service - I dealt directly with Robert Kraft, the owner. He was very professional but also exceedingly friendly and informative. He explained exactly what would have to be done, arranged for a rental car to be brought to the shop and then called later in the day to provide more details regarding my car and the necessary repairs.
