I returned to your office because my upper bridge that you installed was falling out. We discussed and agreed upon the best long term solution. We decided that an "immediate denture" was the best and most cost effective solution to my loose and failing upper teeth. The decision was made to get a pre authorization from the insurance company company to ascertain my level of coverage. I was a little surprised that your office did not even suggest treating and repairing the loose bridge immediately. Meanwhile I was waiting about 2 weeks and was on the phone with delta dental on another matter. They informed me your office never submitted a request for treatment or pre authorization. I left a message with your office regarding this. Several days later your assistant called my wife and left her a message about my medical treatment or lack there of. My wife was shocked and bewildered by this random message. My phone number has remained the same for the last 15 years and you have that on file. I understand it would be hard to call a patient back to inform them that you now refuse to provide basic dentistry. This was not a professional decision on your part, but a personal decision. These are violations of professional dental ethics. You abandoned me in my time of need and expected treatment that you refused to provide. This is completely contradictory to your suggested treatment plan that was somewhat urgent. You also violated hippa rules and regulations by relating medical information to someone other than myself. Your actions cost me weeks of waiting and heightened detriment of my dental emergency. read more

Since I moved to the west coast, I honestly have not been as consistent with my dental care because I simply haven't found a dentist or an office I like or trust. That was not the case today! I came to Dr. Dillon for pain my tooth. After being consulted by a prior dentist in downy telling me i need a root canal i wanted Dr. Dillon's 2 nd opinion. He told me i did not need a root canal or crown. Prior dentist was just adding stuff to make money i assume. Dr. Dillon was helpful and did the procedure right away with just cleaning the decay and filling. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. He ensured i was comfortable and pain free. The office is clean and organized. Everyone is so caring and honest. I was able to call in and they answered quickly and scheduled me the next morning. I'm so glad there are still dentist who care and not just try and take your money. My family comes here and I recommend this office to everyone. Dr. Dillon is wonderful and his staff always top drawer. It is a professional dental office that really cares. One tends to be nervous when you go to the dentist. It is calm in the office and there is not a room full of people waiting to be seen. You are not rushed in or out. They are all kind and courteous in the office and I like it that there is an x-ray machine in the office. Years ago I went to another dental office in town. They would ask me every time if I was a new patient (!). On a personal note, years ago when I was divorced and on the dating scene, he gracefully asked if I wanted to get tooth bleaching trays. Dr. Tom has been my dentist for a very long time now. He is what I like to call a true artist of his craft. This man will go out of his way to make sure that whatever work is to be done will be completed to the highest quality. He will spend the time and effort to complete the work perfectly. If you are looking for truly quality work, go to Dr. Tom. Additionally, he is the most fair dentist that I have ever met. He'll tell you the way that it is. No overcharging. No work that doesn't need to be done. You get the straight story on what is going on inside your mouth. He'll tell you what work does and doesn't need to be done. It's refreshing to come across an honest man. As for personality, he is simply a genuinely nice guy. Always personable and always seems interested in what you have to say. He has a talent for making you feel at ease in that chair that most dread sitting in. Before going to Dr. Tom, I hated going to the dentist. Afraid of the dentist? Leave that fear at the door. Tom Dillon is incredible! For years, and I mean years, I refused to visit the dentist. I was so traumatized by a bad experience in the past that I would rather avoid going. I would rather accept the pain. Tom left me with such a pleasant experience that I actually want to go now. Let me start by saying that I have always had a fear of going to the dentist until I started going to Dr. Tom. He is very gentle, professional, and honest. Dr. Tom always goes out of his way to make sure that I am relaxed and comfortable. I have to say that I don't feel like a patient but a friend to Dr. Tom and his staff. I went to see Dr. Dillon for a second opinion on some dental work that my current dentist was recommending and I could not believe what a difference it makes when seeing a dentist that is not after your money and actually is really concerned about your teeth! My current dentist was recommending a crown, fillings, and even stated that I had some gum disease. Well come to find out after seeing Dr Dillon that my teeth and gums are in great shape and he advised me not to get any dental work as it was not necessary at all. In fact, he said the fillings that I were recently done were not even necessary! I found Dr. Dillon's office to be very neat, clean, professional and and they are very kind. Another great thing is when you book an appointment, you don't have to wait an hour to be seen, I love that! He really cares about you as a person. I've had a lot of dental work. He and his staff have made it as comfortable as possible. Going to him was the best decision I could have made. It turns out I did not need everything the other dentist told me. Dr. Dillon also prioritized what I needed so that I could stay within my insurance limit. He is very honest and conscientious, traits that are difficult to find in dentists nowadays.
