My sister went to Dr Khalilinejad and had very nice things to say about him and his staff. I set up an appointment for a consultation. I had X-rays done the dr let's you know what you need done. He is not pushy at all you decide what you want him to work on if you have more than one issue. The office staff writes up a list of what you need done and the pricing. His office is opened every other Saturday so that is convenient Incase you can't go during the week. So far all three of my appointments I've had no waiting. We always paid our co-payment each time we visited this office. The front desk employee known as "Ignacio" always assured us what amount was the co-payment and what amount is to be billed to my dental insurance. However the negligence of this dental office for failure to properly bill my dental insurance company for services provided. This has been going on since. I have requested full itemization of these charges on two or three occasions and each time I get excuse for why they cannot produce them. Now with the pandemic, after losing many patients this desperate and incompetent dentist, Shahram Valiani, D.D.S. sends us by total surprise a hand written billing statement to pay up $4629.00 or face collections. We called our dental insurance for answers and the dental insurance has told us that there was no record of any billing presented to them for services rendered at this dental office. My wife is now devastated by this. The case has since gone to collections. Great dental office & staff! I needed to have my wisdom teeth extracted, and I transferred here from my previous dentist due to being overcharged. I recently had them extracted by Dr. K himself, and the procedure went by so quickly and smooth!! I get anxiety when it comes to dental work/procedures, the dental assistant Roxy and Dr. K made me feel very comfortable. I was able to relax and they both kept checking in with me if I was okay and if I was in any pain the whole time. Dr. K is very gentle! I hardly felt a thing. I was bringing my teenage boys here for basic cleaning for maybe a year. then my wife went in and all hell broke loose. All I know for sure is that the dentist charged us for like 5 cavities to be fixed, my wife has never had cavities in her life, very strong Indian teeth...now age 39 suddenly has 5? According to my wife, Dr Sam drilled her mouth top, bottom, left and right yet did not show her where the cavities were. Wife has been in pain for weeks now. She went to my dentist in Bev Hills for a follow up and he says the Downey dentist seems to have drilled indiscriminantly. My wife and I called to speak with Dr Sam on the phone but the call spun out of control and the dentist ended up hanging up on us.
