Our children have been coming here for years for acne and other skin concerns, and every experience has been outstanding. Dr. Keren Weltman is exceptional. She is brilliant, knowledgeable, caring, and an absolute joy to work with. Her patient care is second to none. PA Terry Davis is equally impressive for annual skin cancer screenings and minor blemish removals. He is thorough, professional, and always takes the time to explain everything. The office is spotless, modern, and incredibly well run. Appointments are always on time, quick, and thorough. Terrible experience. My daughter has been a patient here for quite some time and only needed a referral to refill her prescription. When she checked in, her driver's permit had recently expired, but she had a photo of her passport, her college ID, and several other forms of identification to verify who she was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately, the office manager, Jade, was extremely rude from the start. She repeatedly spoke over us, refused to listen to what we were trying to explain, and showed no willingness to help or offer any alternatives.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Her attitude was unprofessional and lacked even basic customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The 1 star review is purely based on their front office and billing department staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The doctors are actually quite good - although most of the time you see an assistant which I don't really like. I had mohs surgery and I had to pay upfront as I have a high deductive - no big deal or surprise there. But then when I received my EOB I noticed that I had overpaid by over $600 since they are in network and I should get that discount. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have called and called to try and get my money refunded. The last AI response from them was that it would be in 1-3 business days - that was 2 weeks ago. I keep leaving messages and/or asking for call back and have had zero response[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Now involving my insurance company to try and advocate so far they have had the same experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At this point it seems somewhat fraudulent on their behalf. Last resort was to write a Yelp review because at this particular location and pretty much all their locations [[HIGHLIGHT]]NO ONE answers the phone or returns voice messages.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I believe 6 working days was long enough. Poor patient service especially when the Dr wrote out a script for my foster daughter and somehow the pharmacy has no documentation for it and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I need to get ahold of someone because the Dr needs to clarify another script she did actually send over.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Might have to cross all Thomas Dermatology offices off my list for my family and any future foster children who come into my home and need services. I was charged a $50 cancellation/no-show fee a to my son's appointment today. We arrived on time and did not cancel. The visit could not proceed only because we were informed at check-in that a new referral was required due to a new insurance card. I received a phone call 1hour prior to appointment alerting me to bring in a new insurance card. This was not a cancellation or no-show, and charging a fee under these circumstances was inappropriate. I was seen at their southwest Vegas office. The one with the waiting room that looked like it was from 1983 communist Russia. They seem to care more about reviews than providing acceptable customer service. If they did the latter they would not need to work hard on the reviews. First, I'll start by stating that I've received excellent care by Dr. Weltman. The big problem I have with this office is their billing practices. Office staff demanded full payment on an invoice I'd only received a couple weeks prior. I confirmed that I would pay in full within a week. DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER. My complaint is simple; they don't return phone calls and follow up with the patient. The staff is nice and they seem to do a good job but their communication is horrendous. Without going into all the details i had a hard time getting the results of my biopsy; they never called me when the results came back and did not return multiple phone calls to them. I finally got my results, which were cancerous, by making an appointment on another matter and getting the results in person. Scheduled another visit for a cosmetic procedure that was done by Dr. Karen Weltman to correct my ear piercings. Everything went great. What a wonderful bed side manner!! I went to this clinic four years ago only for one visit and I paid my copay and the doctor said she would freeze something for free and then they charged me 4 years later. i got a text saying I owed money. I saw Terry at Thomas Dermatology and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. I came in with several ongoing issues, hoping for real guidance, but the only "solutions" offered were more prescription pills and steroid creams. At no point was I asked about lifestyle, diet, or other factors that could be contributing to my problems. As an aesthetician myself, I ask my own clients more questions than I was ever asked here. I've been dealing with nonstop itching, bruising, random flare-ups, and now even dermatitis on my scalp and arms. My skin doesn't heal properly, and I went in hoping to find answers. Instead, my follow-up appointment lasted barely 13 minutes, and once again, the suggestion was just another cream. The photos I brought to show my skin issues weren't even looked at. It saddens me that the approach here seems to be prescribing more medications rather than addressing the root cause of the problem. I left feeling dismissed and unheard. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for providers who take the time to truly listen and help you find long-term solutions. read more

My daughter developed alopecia so we went to see Dr Vanessa on a referral from our pediatrician. Appointments were running at about 4 weeks out - which in all honestly isn't too bad for Vegas (my son needed a consultation on getting his tonsils removed last year and that appointment was looking at a 6 month wait just for reference). The staff was nice - always feel like any front office staff at medical offices could be nicer - this one was no exception. They were nice but could have been a little bit nicer. We only waited for about 10 minutes before being called back and our experience went from ok to great. Dr. Vanessa and her assistant were wonderful at making my daughter feel welcome and comfortable as well as me as the nervous mom. Luckily, we might not have to go back with her case not being so severe, but if we have to see a dermatologist again it will definitely be here. read more

A close family member had a consultation with Dr. Corbett through Thomas Dermatology and had planned a procedure. Suddenly, 30 minutes before the procedure, the office called. We missed the call initially as we were literally stepping out the door on the way to their office. Keep in mind, we had confirmed the procedure multiple times, placed a deposit, and had every reason to believe the appointment would take place as planned. We called back and it took 10 minutes to finally reach someone, only to be told that Dr. Corbett would be out of the office for the entire month of July. Although this appointment was on 06/27, they unexpectedly wanted to reschedule it to August. There was no explanation of why this was not known earlier and no apology was offered. We cancelled the appointment altogether and called back to express our dissatisfaction with how unprofessional and unethical this was. The medical assistant then stated she was ending the call. Not only had we taken time off from work and stopped certain supplements, but this situation also reflects very poorly on their value of patients. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere. read more

I recently switched back to this location from Henderson. I really love this office. Check in was quick and efficient. Office staff were friendly. I am seen regularly d/t my history of melanoma. I always get super nervous before a skin check. My provider, Dr. Weltman, ran on time and still managed to take the time to throughly inspect my skin. She asked me about my history and seemed genuinely concerned if I had concerns. She definitely made the experience more enjoyable which totally calmed my nerves. I highly recommend her and am a huge advocate for getting your skin checked by a dermatologist, as they have saved my life on more than one occasion! Thank you Dr. Weltman! read more

Horrible customer service!!! It has been two weeks since an appointment that resulted in a prescription. My insurance provider is waiting for information from Thomas Dermatology so they can fill that prescription. I called (again) today and was told that their policy is they have FOUR WEEKS to process the prescriptions. And, that I was in a queue, and that they would process it when my turn came up. That I am in agony does not matter. They will do anything to speed the process. I have never experienced such an uncaring attitude from any medical provider I have ever used. I had an appointment today (6/27/2024) with Dr. Corbett for a procedure, which I had confirmed as recently as yesterday afternoon. The appointment was at 2:30 PM, and I was told to be there on time. Just as I was about to leave, I received a message from her office asking me to call them. I kept calling, but all my calls went to voicemail. Finally, after 10 minutes, I connected with her office. Without any apologies or explanations, they informed me that my appointment was cancelled and could be rescheduled for August. I had stopped taking Vitamin E and Fish Oil for two days, started on Arnica for two days, and taken time off work. Her actions are unprofessional and unethical. I refuse to reschedule with her and I would not recommend her to anyone. Her rude behavior is unacceptable and shocking. read more
